It is your responsibility to make sure that your RV and/or vehicle fit within the site you reserved.  We provide you with the RV space size and which pull-outs are allowed per site.   Please make the reservation under the name of the person staying in that site. (It is by law that we keep records of the license plate and name of people staying at our establishment.)            Cancellation & Reservation Policies *(any changes to your reservation arrival &/or departure date must be made two weeks prior to arrival to avoid any extra fees.      At the time of reservation, 50% of your total stay will be charged as a deposit.    The remaining balance is due on your arrival date. One-night stays are paid in full.           CANCELLATIONS Reservations must be cancelled 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of your arrival date are non-refundable. Tents: The Retreat at Cannon Beach has a limit of 1 tent per site. Campers with multiple tents will be charged the full amount of another tent site per tent. (We value open space between sleeping units and the privacy of the neighboring guests).  All vans, campers, RVs and trailers must be on an RV site regardless of size unless approved by management. Cabins: The Retreat at Cannon Beach will provide you with a clean cabin when you check-in. A cleaning fee is included in the reservation. If after your departure the cabin requires replacement of broken appliances, missing items or extra cleaning, your credit card on file will be charged accordingly.  Pets are allowed in our cabins with an additional $25 fee per night. RV Sites: All sites are for 1 sleeping unit. No additional trailers or tents are allowed.  Other:You authorize The Retreat at Cannon Beach to charge your credit card for any property damages caused by you during your stay. Chopping trees, tables, log borders or any other activity that may damage property is not allowed. Failure to comply with these terms may result in a $300 fine. We do have overflow parking here in the campground, additional fees may apply, please contact the office for more details. We provide the site measurements; however, you are responsible for making sure any/all rigs fit within the site you have reserved. At check-in, the guest names, occupants, pets &/or vehicles in the party must match the information on the reservation. If any changes are needed, they must be made at the time of check-in. Failure to do so could result in additional fees. Check in time for tents and RV sites is any time after 1:30 pm. Check in time for the cabins is 3 pm. After hours cabin check-in arrangements must be made before the office closes.  Check-out time is at 12:00 pm for RVs/Tents and at 11:00 am for Cabins. No aggressive animals are allowed.  All pets must be on a leash and you must pick up their waste. Doggie bags are provided throughout the resort.    Thank you for following the park rules! ADD ONS TO POLICY 1. Each site accommodates one sleeping unit and one vehicle. If the sleeping unit is on the vehicle, it is considered to be one sleeping unit and one tent. Any additional vehicles and/or sleeping units are an additional fee. 2. Paying for an additional tent and/or vehicle does not automatically mean that the site will accommodate the additional tent/vehicle. You will need to contact the office to determine if your reserved site has the available space for an additional tent and/or vehicle. 3. If you have not checked out of your site by fifteen minutes after the check out time, you will be charged a late departure fee. 4. If you leave your site trashed, including pet excrements, you will be charged a fee. 5. There is a pet fee of $5.00 per pet, per night. If your dog is not on a leash, you may be charged an additional fee for each time that your pet is found to not be on a leash. 6. If you reserve a site within the two-week cancellation policy, you will not receive a refund if you need to cancel. 7. If you fail to check in for your reservation for the first night, your site will be opened back up for reservation at noon the following day, unless you contact the office to notify the staff you plan to arrive. 8. If you bring a trailer of any kind into the campground with your vehicle, you will be charged, as there is not room in most sites for trailers. 9. Additional vehicles and trailers are an additional $10.00 per night. 10.            Cannon Beach ordinance restricts any loud noise from the hours of 10 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the next day. 11.            We have partial hook-up sites and full-hook up sites. If you are in a partial hook-up site and need to dump, there is a dump station available, but there is a $15.00 dump fee. 12.            Cancellation Fee of $25 is applied if prior to 14 days before reservation. 13.            Non-campers on site, must be reported to the office staff. They are not permitted to park their vehicle in your spot, even if there is room, without paying a parking fee of $25.00 per day.

New update , I don't currently have enough firewood to accommodate everybody . I'm working on it and hopefully we'll provide that service in the near future but in the meantime I have an address of a friend that sells firewood bundles for $5 each very close by . This is their address . 3904 Tillamook River Road. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Located in the Willamette Valley, where route 240 and 47 meet is the small town of Yamhill. just 3 miles out of town there is a 66 acre working farm with forest covered hills, rolling hay fields and a small seasonal creek. We welcome you to come enjoy some peaceful rest on our farm. We have 2 camp sites and a vintage trailer available nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife. each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have firewood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs and ice. the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June thru October, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. you are welcome to walk around the field during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path. we have walking trails coming soon! please message me if you would like a tour of the farm we have a horse boarding stable, chickens and goats (for your safety please do not enter any barns or pastures without permission) you can see and hear some of the animals but most are far enough away that they are not disturbing.

Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village. Please note: We do allow pets in some of our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had fallen into disrepair before taking ownership. In 2007 we planted 200 trees and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality. From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands. The Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest is made up of 1.8 million acres and spans from the Western Cascades to the Siskiyou Mountains. With somewhere between 60 to 100 inches of rain per year this escape is filled with a diversity of green and a lone Rogue River. Port Orford Cedar and Douglas fir practically litter the mountainous, and meadow landscapes. GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. The farm features creeks, forests, pastures, orchards and gardens as well as the historic buildings. Currently we have four friendly sheep and a small flock of Mallard ducks to keep us company. The Pioneer Memorial Orchard features over 50 vairieties of pre 1850 apple trees. The Heritage Grove has ten fruit and nut trees that were recognizeds as a memorial the the early pioneers of the nursery trade by Oregon Heritage Tree program. The 20 acre property, offers three tent camp sites Including the Tree House site, as well as two forest cabins and a small forest bunkhouse (sleeps 6). Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional quacking of ducks and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! Your experience will certainly be unique to the season. Your host Jim Toler represents the fifth generation of the farm and will happily share stories of the farm and it's history. GeerCrest Farm is truly an off-the-beaten-path gem.

(Full property use, all campsites) please inquire for details/cost/available dates) *If you don't see a weekend open for dates for a full property booking, please inquire as we have some weekends blocked off for potential weddings/retreats THE PROPERTY: Our campsites are on two beautiful ponds with a seasonal creek in an old growth cedar forest with a few trails to enjoy the stillness and magic of the woods. There are 11 acres with a vineyard, fruit orchard, large garden, cob garden wall for lounging, fire pit at the vineyard with several picnic tables and hammocks, a big open field above the camping area, and the beautiful cedar forest. We consider this land sacred. We are only caretakers passing through, and honor this place and the original people of this land: The Molalla, Clackamas, and Kalapuya tribes, who were "relocated" to the Grand Ronde Reservation in the mid 1800's. Please be mindful of the energy of the forest, and all the people and animals who still reside and have come before. The forest is home to beavers, coyote, deer, raccoons, salamanders, frogs, and many bird species. Our dream is to share this land with all people to create community in harmony with nature and provide a safe space We welcome, open heartedly, people of all gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and artistic expression. WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Proceed down our long driveway to the bottom. Take a left at the sport court, and continue right. On your left is the woodshed with the "Calliope Farm" mural. You will see two parking spots to the left of the woodshed (Harmony Hollow parking) and two on the right (Hobbit Circle) You can unload here and grab a cart. Across from the parking, on the red barn, is the water station, and the hot tub sign up sheet. You will be walking/carting your things down to the forest where you will pass the outhouse on the left. For Harmony Hollow, after you cross the first bridge, take the path to the left and cross a second bridge and the campsite is on your right. For Hobbit Circle, cross the first bridge and walk around the pond, which will lead you to the campsite. The campsites are a short walk, (200 yards) but there is a decline, and you need to be a little hearty to walk back up the hill with your things. You will have a good amount of space and privacy for your group, but may encounter others visiting the forest as well. Enjoy a social time while respecting that some come for quiet and reflection. We provide a picnic table We wish to all work together for safety, with intelligence, common sense, and fire consciousness. OFFERINGS: We have a cedar hot tub, massage therapy, and an outdoor shower. The charge for the hot tub is $15 per person for 75 minutes of hot tub time. You can schedule the hot tub for privacy at the sign up sheet on the barn. If you would like to shower and not hot tub, the cost is $5 per shower, otherwise its included in the hot tub fee, and required for hot tub entrance. If you, or anyone in your group did not pay for a hot tub ahead of time, you will find a Venmo link on the barn, or can bring cash. HOT TUB: The hot tub sign up sheet is on the barn next to the water station. It is first come first serve. If you are a larger group using the tub, consider choosing a later spot for water displacement. If the hot tub is too hot, please add cold water from the hose to desired temp. PLEASE do not turn down the temperature on the hot tub, but use the cold water to create desired temp, but not below 102. If you are staying multiple nights and would like to hot tub again, the cost is $10 pp, instead of $15. Kids under 10 are $5 The hot tub is to the right of the house down by the garden. Your time is private, but we may need to visit/work in the garden. PLEASE read and be mindful of the hot tub etiquette posted in the hot tub area. VINEYARD: ~Silas Wines~ This is the original vineyard for Silas Wines founded in 2010. Our Pinot Noir vines are 40 year old Wadensville clone planted by the Ritter family in the early 80's. You are welcome to walk the vineyard, and explore the front of the property. Our neighbor Beth, to the west, is a master gardener, and loves to give tours of her gardens or you can wander on your own. (please inquire) Dogs: Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog. We and our neighbors have chickens that are penned and free ranged. Please DO NOT allow your dog (or yourself) to roam on our neighbors property over the fence in the next field to the East. He is very friendly, and we have a good relationship, but that is his request. Please pick up after your dog. Please do not lose site of dog, and keep them on leash in common areas. Please do not leave your dog unattended at the campsite or anywhere on the property where they will bark and disturb other guests. THE CARAVAN SPOT: Please let us know if you are needing a van camping spot opposed to tent camping in the woods. We do have a few different options for car camping, and when booking select the "caravan spot". We also can split up your group if some are tent camping and others need van camping, but you would need to book the two different sites. Come out and enjoy the high desert and explore the juniper forest. We have tent camping sites and one tipi. We are currently in the process of still building out our glamping pods. However in the mean time you can currently book a stay at those sites for tent camping. The tent sites offer a comfortable setting for your tent in the sandy dirt. Each site includes a large picnic table and a fire pit. **We offer firewood bundles for sale for $5 in the community area** We have a small community area, there you will find a small outdoor kitchen with a large blackstone, small bbq and little cooking/eating utensils. (We have no water or electricity on-site) This is also where the trash bins are located. We have a basketball hoop, yoga deck, and pull up /hanging bars. Next to the community area is where you will also find the bathroom, which is a clean porta potty. Come enjoy wandering the juniper forest and sage brush in Central Oregon’s high desert. We are next to 100’s of acres of BLM land, including the Horse Ridge Mountain Biking Trail System. There is hiking, biking, horse trails and ATV trails all nearby. Our open skies are great for daydreaming and stargazing. Come see how bright the milky way is out here Sage Ridge. Sage Ridge is only 15 miles east of Bend right off of Hwy 20.

Welcome to Holistic Life Farm! We are a working homestead and delight in sharing our daily experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows and chickens. Holistic Life Farm offers a 1 dry tent site for up to 12 people, a quaint hideaway cabin, and a glamped out 16x20 canvas tent with a wood stove. We also offer 1 RV site in our parking area. Stop on your way to Astoria and the coast and make this your destination. Find us about 30 minutes off I-5 freeway across the Longview bridge or 45 minutes east of Astoria. Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north. We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

Enjoy a quarter mile of Kilchis River access in the Tillamook Forest! If you prefer a more private setting you can put up a tent or bring a small RV on the riverside site on the far west end of the property, or choose the comfort of staying in our rustic cabin. Book both sites for extra large groups or if you need more space/privacy. There is no electricity or running water in the cabin, however a generator can be rented if it is desired. Potable water is also available on site if you bring a jug to fill. A portable toilet is available on-site. Take advantage of the opportunity to go fishing, swimming, or launch your boat/kayak/tube. Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the river and the wildlife in the coastal rainforest. Watch the salmon jump during spawning season in November, or cast a rod from our private fishing spot. We are also a birdwatcher's and rockhounding paradise! Just a few minutes away from town amenities, this location allows you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forested river canyon, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are family and fur baby friendly! If you are an animal lover, take the time to enjoy a visit with our cats and chickens too. *Please note, while we have no direct neighbors, we are in a narrow river canyon. There is an active farm and wedding venue across the river. You may hear distant noise of their operations or events, depending on the season. There is also a quarry across the road that operates M-F, from 8a-3p that sometimes can be heard sporadically throughout the day.

I love this campground. Mark- the host- is lovely and the land in incredible. Site 6 has expanded and can now host three or four tents. It's nestled between the trees, Great location for hitting all the beaches and Tillamook. Will definitely return for a third visit. Dasher- Mark's adorable Jack Russel puppy- was definitely a highlight for my dogs.

Awesome secluded river front camping. We showed up just after dark from crabbing all day at netarts bay. The host greeted us and helped us access fresh water to hose down our boat/pots. Her husband went above and beyond and cooked our crab for us, is his much larger setup. Saved us easily an hour of work, which was amazing. Great people with a beautiful spot. Will definitely stay again on future crabbing trips.

Where to go

The Willamette Valley

Extending from the border with Washington state down to the community of Springfield, the Willamette Valley is Oregon’s main economic and cultural hub. Although it’s home to the state’s three most populated cities (Portland, Salem, and Eugene), much of the Willamette Valley is dominated by forests and countryside, with plenty of state parks, hiking and mountain biking trails, hot springs, and rivers.

Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge

Just east of Portland on the border with Washington, the Columbia River Gorge offers easy access to miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, and great skiing and snowboarding. The adjacent Mt. Hood region has equally beautiful scenery and is as popular for winter skiing and snowboarding as it is for hiking, swimming, and camping in the summer months.

The Oregon Coast

This region is popular year-round, attracting whale-watching fans in the cooler months and campers and hikers in the summer months. Popular Oregon Coast activities include hiking, tide pool viewing, clamming, crabbing, off-road vehicle rides on the sweeping Oregon Dunes, and sampling world-famous cheese and ice cream in Tillamook. While some brave souls don wetsuits for surfing and diving, the Pacific Ocean waters rarely get warm enough for comfortable dips. Some of the area’s best camping options can be found at Harris Beach State Park, Sunset Bay State Park, and Cape Lookout State Park, all of which offer tent camping, yurt rentals, and RV sites with hookups.

Eastern and Central Oregon

Stretching from the portion of the Cascade Range south of the Columbia Gorge all the way east to the Oregon-Idaho border, central and eastern Oregon offer a dryer, sunnier alternative to the rainier parts of the state, with a mix of lush forest and craggy high desert landscapes. Highlights include Deschutes National Forest, popular for backpacking and backcountry stays, while campers in search of a more developed camping experience can head to one of the many Oregon state parks along the Deschutes River, near Bend.

Southern Oregon

Oregon’s southernmost region offers a variety of scenery, with a mix of lakes, forests, and rivers interspersed with rolling expanses of countryside (not to mention some great wineries). The region’s most famous natural attraction is Crater Lake National Park, Oregon’s only national park, set near the southeastern reaches of Umpqua National Forest.
