Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. This is our home and we are happy to share it with you!

Beautiful property
Such a beautiful, special property. The swimming holes were genuinely so incredible. The amenities were so nice, my husband who is a contractor was so jealous of all the beautiful lumber used in all their buildings. A really special stay, the whole family loved it.

Forest Gnome Dome, Cedar Bloom
Overpriced, best 4 cool season stay
The gnome dome is an incredibly sweet concept. The design, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired for the price. Some tips: #1 I wouldn’t stay in gnome dome during the heat of summer. There is no cross-breeze or air movement in the dome and it ends up being hotter inside than outside. We requested a box fan from the kitchen, which our hosts graciously allowed us to grab. We slept very un peacefully and un privately with the small porthole windows and door open and a loud box fan blaring in front of the open door just to get some air flow. The gnome dome price should be drastically cut during hot season and/or outfitted with more air flow before guests arrive. #2 The bed is quite uncomfortable for the price. It’s not very soft. My husband ended up sleeping on a mat on the floor b/c anytime he moved the bed creaked and seemed unstable. I wouldn’t pay $250 to sleep in a chintzy bed like this again. The cost should really be reduced to align with the quality of the bed. #3 The blankets had sharp burrs in them that scratched me throughout the night. Again, the price of gnome dome should reflect a camping stay ($50 or less/night) not a BnB or nice hotel room stay ($250/night), #4 If you’re sensitive the sound, the acoustics of the gnome dome are quite strange. In certain parts of the dome it feels like you’re speaking on a microphone or like you’re others are in a headphone speaking right into your ear. Heads-up on this would have been nice.

Beautiful peaceful property with a wonderful river to jump into when it’s hot. The cabin was a sweet place to stay and opens up for a unique outdoor experience.
