You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond.
Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees.
Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 12-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens when available.
The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 4-gallon hot water heater limits showers to around 5 minutes.
Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up.
A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark.
Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the hutch as well as posted on the WiFi router in the compost toilet building. Some games and puzzles are provided.

I no longer paraglide, but enjoy hosting pilots and friends from around the world. I love the interesting confluence of people who visit and connect--many end up staying much longer than they intended! Mornings are full of coffee, golden light and bird songs, afternoons are spend poolside, and evenings sometimes end with acoustic music jams or conversations around the dinner table. Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. The nights are very dark so stargazing is a treat! The property includes 1/4 mi of river, numerous ponds, big open meadows and close to a mile of property road, plus a forest trail. Each cabin has easy access to a composting toilet and bath or shower. Firewood is included at each cabin for the wood stove. The tap water is drinkable, otherwise there will be bottled water for you.
We cannot have open fires and don't allow smoking on the property. We prefer not to have dogs.
There is no cell service at Trillium. Internet is available on the south end of the property.
This is an active retreat property, so there may be groups or other individuals there as well. If you are interested in hosting an event at Trillium, let us know!
Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events.

The composting restroom has a toilet and motion sensor lighting. On the outside of the restroom is the sink with hot and cold running water. As you continue along the stone path to the outdoor shower, you'll find a rainfall shower head as well as all the products you need, not to mention the most incredible views of the river!
Our outdoor cookshack comes with a grill, bar sink, trash, and basic cooking and eating utensils. This space also has views of the river and large FarmStyle table and chairs for dining.
The site is equipped with motion sensor path lighting around the tent and also the along the path leading from the parking area to the cabin.

To enhance your stay, we offer farm-to-tent breakfasts, afternoon charcuterie, fresh produce, farm-raised meats, and local vineyard recommendations. If you need help planning your day, we're happy to assist—just send us a message!
As a family-owned and operated farm, we work with the sun and sleep with the moon. To ensure the smoothest arrival, we ask that all campers check in before sunset, as navigating our farm after dark can be tricky. If you arrive after dark without prior communication, we may not be able to grant access. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing our little slice of paradise with you!

Our stay on Lara's land was exactly whatvl we hoped for and more! A quiet place to relax for a night on our way home from a visit to family in California. The treat was the rustic "elegance". Starting with our tent platform and comfortable picnic table to the outdoor kitchen area and composting toilet. So many sweet touches and clear communication about expectations. We didn't getva chance to take a shower so never went inside, but can imagine it matched the rest of the vibe. Though its rustic, it felt clean and cared for.
The breakfast was pricey, but well worth it! Lara delivered it to our campsite in a basket with actual silverware and ceramic plates, bowls and insulated mugs for the coffee along with homemade cookies for a snack later in the day. We had a nice visit and she was very helpful with info about the area.
We didn't get a chance to explore the rest of the farm as the camping sites are away from the house and animals, so its very private. We were there mid-week so had the place to ourselves. It was a great stay! The surrounding area and views are amazing!

Brad’s place was convenient for us seeing a Shakespeare play that eve at Ashland’s Elizabethan theatre. Brad met us when arrived, & lent us an extension cord to run the portable A/C in our trailer that night. Very hospitable. This, & the 3 other Hipcamp sites we used on our 9-day Oregon tour, has persuaded me that Hipcamp is generally far superior to campgrounds, if a traveler prioritizes hospitality, quiet, & a sense of space.

Wonderful getaway spot nestled in the Central Point farmland hills. Quick, pretty drive to and from The Britt if seeing a concert there. The Willows site was perfectly quiet with interesting farm views all around. Lara’s comms in messages and at site service stations were great. Highly recommended!!

Weekend Trip to Lane Creek Reserve
Lara’s place was a delightful refuge after a day out and about. The covered tent was just like a hotel room inside. It was clean and cozy. Lara thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. The bath facilities are clean and well maintained. They light up at night. There is a running sink, heat for cooking, pots and pans, and small fridge to use as well. My husband and I enjoyed the bustle of the farm animals and laying out at night on the hammock under beautiful trees. The location is perfect to enjoy all the area has to offer. We would stay here again.

Had a great trip to Cedar Bloom with my wife and dog. Great open space and easy to grab a spot by a picnic table. Fire ban was in effect, which was disappointing, but spending time at the river made up for it. The river is wide open and split into two spots—one entry for families and dogs, and a deeper section for swimming and launching kayaks.
Didn't end up needing the shared kitchen, cooler, tea house, laundry, or sauna, but they're great perks to have on-site. Staff was helpful for check-in and store supplies.
One tip: showers, restrooms, and water spigots are clustered on one side of the property, so keep that in mind if you camp on the south end. The domes and cabins were full, but tent camping here was still awesome.

Beautiful property! Stayed on a Wednesday- Sunday. Was not crowded at all. A few people came for the weekend, but not bad. Great commercial kitchen, nice to be able to use big fridge! Everyone was super nice on the property! I stayed in the trailer, nice to have electricity to charge phone. And closest to bathroom! I’m 5’3” and fit in it ok, but I don’t see how 2 people could sleep comfortably in it. The river was awesome!

Overview
About
Some of the most stunning caves anywhere are well worth that twisty mountain road you had to drive to get here. Just watching the water running through the caves is mesmerizing. Take the standard 90-minute tour, or sign up for the candlelight tour for a different experience. The Rangers here are very knowledgeable and do a great job leading the tours and answering questions. These caves are worth a visit because they're made of marble instead of the more common limestone. You may be able to join a tour when you arrive, but booking in advance is highly recommended.
There's no need for a flashlight because the caves are beautifully lit. Please don't wear clothes you've worn to other caves (they can carry disease to the bats). Don't forget your warmies, these caves are cold! There's a height minimum of 42 inches, so young kids won't be able to enter for their own safety. But the Junior Ranger program is in full force here, complete with a cool wooden badge with a bat on it.
The park grounds feature a lodge (about to undergo renovation) and two restaurants. Treat yourself to some of Oregon's best local produce by ordering marionberry cobbler or a blueberry milkshake. Whether you want to hook up your RV, stay in a cabin filled with windows, or pitch your tent alongside a river, Hipcamp can help you find just the right spot to enhance your journey.

What an absolute treat to visit! The road up was not at all bad, I expected something terrible based on what the website says, but it was well maintained, thoroughly paved and easy to navigate.
Tons of parking, and very well-maintained restrooms in both the main parking lot and at the visitor center. There’s no real shade in the main parking lot, but if you get there early and are able to park in the small parking lot by the visitor center, there is a good shade. Hike some of the lovely trails before my tour began and it was absolutely magical. The chalet is gorgeous, currently under construction so you can’t see inside, but it’s beautiful from the outside.
The cave tour was fabulous! The guide was so helpful and informative, and the cave itself is absolutely stunning! Definitely worth visiting, could be slightly challenging for individuals not in great shape but if you take your time, you would definitely enjoy it. 10 out of 10 recommend.
