As the title suggests, we had a wonderful time, and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. My husband and two dogs were moving from CA to OR. We stopped here for one night to break our road trip in half. The hosts were so helpful and even helped us when I shared that we also had a 22’ moving truck. Katie made the most delicious sandwiches and morning yogurt boxes for us. The ingredients were fresh, healthy, delicious, and made with care. Our favorite part of our 14 hour stay was using the cookshack at sunset, getting ready for bed with an outside shower, and waking up in the morning to the panoramic window forest views. We have two reactive dogs and they didn’t bark a single time when we were out there’s because of how much privacy we had. We hope to come back and stay for longer.

Rogue River Glamping
Highly recommend this spot for a magical escape. Kathleen and Zach have dedicated effort to create a glamping experience, offering cleanliness, unique touches, and comfort amidst the forest. If you're looking for a getaway, this is a top choice.
For dog owners, bringing a brush is advisable; our two dogs picked up stickers from the grass and wore LED collars so we could find them at night.
Some things that helped us out in our trip. A small Yeti cooler and basic kitchen utensils were provided, but we brought a larger cooler, tinfoil, and kitchen towels. and some cooking oil to use. Most of our meals were pre-made, cut, or planned, so it was easier to put them together.

Let me start off by saying we loved our stay! It was peaceful and quiet, warm and cozy, and we had everything we needed. Our hosts had thought of so many details that made our stay such a pleasant experience and what we were hoping for. Fire pit with some wood, hotwater for awesome outdoor shower,coffee and basic kitchen needs, but also wonderful little details like robes for the shower, a simple map of the two trails we could walk and ice in the ice chest. Great hosts. Power went out once and they promptly got it fixed. Our only struggle was that it rained while we were there and we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we were hoping. The kitchen table didn't have a cover over it and so we couldn't use it while raining, (bringing a canopy for the rain would have been nice.) But we still had a nice dry and warm time in the cabin area. Excellent stay, will stay here again!

What a beautiful private location. If you have dogs and don’t want to leash them this is the perfect spot. It’s a cute little romantic cabin with a view of the river. The pellet stove was perfect for the crisp fall mornings and the hammock and lounge chairs were a nice surprise to enjoy the afternoons. We had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was a wonderful experience. I’d love to come back another weekend to this amazing place.

Very peaceful, private spot with lots of of birds and nature to explore. Everything has been built beautifully and sustainably from what it looks like. Ideal for a retreat, we would definitely come back.
For accessibility- the parking is on hill and a small wagon was provided :) be prepared for bees too, they are on the hunt for protein.

The entire weekend was magical, the property, views, and forest were amazing!
The only feedback I have was the wasps were swarming especially when I tried to feed my dogs, the property would likely benifit with some strategically placed wasp traps! Other than that, taking a shower with the butterflies was exactly the fairytale weekend I was looking for! Thank you so much!

This place is heaven on earth. Even better than you could expect of a "glamping" site. We were beyond comfortable, and had everything we needed. The twinkle lights all over, the motion activated solar lights, the amazing woodworking and decorations... There's too many good things to list. Just book it (but look out for poison oak)! 😊

Rogue River Glamping was great. Comfortable, quiet and relaxing. We just hung out and enjoyed the location. A bit of a hike downhill from parking to the cabin but a wagon is provided. Cooking area worked well. Outdoor shower & the composting toilet were also clean and functional. Would definitely recommend.

Kathleen’s glamping hub was the perfect secluded retreat for me and my wife. She was quick to respond when I messaged her and was attentive to a wasp nest that formed in the bathroom. Rustic but well worth it. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful.

Rogue River Glamping
This was one of the best glamping experiences we've ever had. I would highly recommend this hipcamp and can't wait to go again!
The property and the little cabin were amazing. Completely private, filled with trees and views! My dog loved running around and chasing squirrels, off leash. She's reactive and because this property was private, I didn't have to worry about running into strangers.
Kathleen's personal touches with the decor and the cute welcome note really set us up to have a relaxing and calming experience.

Beautiful Spot! The cabin is super comfy, the outdoor kitchen was perfect. That outdoor shower is AMAZING! We had a wonderful time! You have to walk a little bit to get to the cabin after parking (pack light!) Lots of poison oak this time of year. Overall great experience.

Beautiful place for a couples retreat nice and quiet all hours of the day with plenty of activities to do around. Host were very polite and are fast responders if anything is needed with the place. Would recommend the place to friends and family 5/5. Definitely going back for a second adventure:)

This place is the bee’s knees! We had such a great time with our dogs. Close to amazing hiking, but you don’t really have to leave - so much to explore there!

This site was delightful! We weren’t sure if the cabin would be finished in time for our stay, but were very pleased to discover it was ready. Wonderfully cozy inside, lots of thoughtful little touches, and the whole layout was so well put together. Loved all the different seating platforms, the fire pit area, the outdoor shower with great water pressure, and the fact that there was a grill, plates, utensils, and anything else you could need already stocked. Lovely spot in the woods and beautiful sunset. Would absolutely recommend - but watch out for poison oak during May-June season. Hope to be back soon!

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at the updated cabin! The forest there is really beautiful and the cabin is very secluded. The views of the river were nice and there were plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy those views from! The property is very close to some nice public parks on the river, so spending a day swimming and lounging on the riverside is very easy! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed tent camping at Kathleen’s site. It was absolutely adorable with the outside kitchen, shower and potty house. It was very clean and well furnished
with amenities and even games. We sat on the front porch in the evenings in awe of the fresh mountain air. We will be back next year.

Better than expected! Our family of 5, w 3 kids 10 or younger, really loved this experience. Kitchen was perfect for making meals and enjoying dinner at sunset. Shower (and HOT water!) was a luxury we appreciated and loved outdoors. The compost toilet was easy, no fuss and the kids embraced it. Great trails all around the immediate area with views. Lovely views from tent area to trees and river. It was so quiet. We stayed several nights and Kathleen graciously restocked a few things for us. We brought our Berkey water filter from home which turned out to be a great idea. Highly recommended this place!

Rogue River Glamping was all I'd imagined and hoped for when I booked it. The views, the wildlife, the space to explore, the quiet, the seclusion, the serenity...it was all perfect! Things that surpassed my expectations were: the comfort of the bed, pillows, linens, towels, the robes, even Katie herself. She was so incredibly sweet, and helpful. She puts so much time and detail into making your stay as wonderful as possible and it shows! From the beautifully done guest book with all the instructions and how-tos, the hand drawn map, the little binoculars, the handwritten thank you note, to the little cooler full of ice waiting your arrival. She hasn't missed a thing. If you're on the fence, BOOK IT...you won't be disappointed!

OH MY GOODNESS! what an incredible trip. The craftsmanship of the property was incredible l, with curved rails and amazing views.
In the morning the fog rolled through the trees making the most serene setting to drink coffee.

Beautiful place! Clearly so much care has been put into creating this little sanctuary. I'm used to tent camping so this was a treat -- true glamping with a cozy stove in the tent, comfy bed, hot outdoor showers, and a wonderful outdoor kitchen :)
This is an ideal place to stay for a night in Southern Oregon or if you really want to relax while sitting on the beautiful deck and enjoying the forest and peek-a-boo views of the river. We didn't realize that we wouldn't be able to get to the river itself from the property (there were some steep trails with too much poison oak for us to brave), so we drove around to explore some other hikes during our two-night stay. It's a beautiful area and easy to get around so that worked well for us - just something to note for your planning!
The hosts were super responsive, the place was very clean, and they have the cutest goats as a bonus ;)

I can’t begin to describe how wonderful our experience staying on Kathleen’s property was! Every area from the tent, to the kitchen, to the bonfire pit was so thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. The property had great views of the river while feeling very private and secluded. Kathleen went above and beyond to make the property feel like a home away from home! I can’t recommend staying here enough!

My partner and I loved our stay on the Rogue. The tent was cozy with the wood burning stove and we made some amazing meals in the outdoor kitchen. It felt very private and there were so many trails to explore. Couldn’t quite get to the river through the blackberries though. Would definitely return!

Everything was great! The tent has all of the comforts of home. From the comfy bed, to the wood stove, the cute lanterns, a nice soft rug to walk on, a table and chair all thoughtfully placed. The sitting bench at the end of the bed with baskets of more soft blankets added to the charm.. The porch offers a nice place to sit and relax. I loved the fire pit, outdoor shower, the outlook, and the sink space outside of the out house. The beautiful bouquets of wildflowers in mason jars make you forget where you are. There are just the right amount homey touches in this outdoor space, you can see how it lives up to its name. The kitchen area had all of the essentials to prepare food; dishes, utensils, pots, pans, tea kettle, a cooktop stove, bbq grill, and a sink. The picnic table is another nice place to take in the beautiful views while eating. Surrounded by tall trees and sounds of nature made it so easy to be outdoors all day and into the night. There are motion sensor lights to help you get around easily after dark. The quality linens and blankets on the bed give you a pleasant place to retreat. Everything was clean, fresh, and beautifully designed and built. I was quite fond of the steps to the tent, the hand rails, the structure that supports the tent are all made of wood. I’m assuming from the trees on the land. They really pay attention to the finer details. I would highly recommend Rogue River Glamping!

Beautiful place, very nice setup. Loved the wood stove in the tent, and the outdoor kitchen setup. Also liked the motion sensored lights really helped when getting up in the middle of the night.
