Cornerstone Ranch is a pristine Ranch of about 500 acres on the Rogue River and against the Pacific Ocean offering too many experiences to count. You can even bring your horse...Located at 94589 N. Bank Rogue River Road i Gold Beach. FYI, Hipcamps map for site locations is not correct. Two go next to the driveway and the other four follow the creek. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

If your looking for the camping experience but would rather sleep inside here it is. Nestled in the corner of the camp area next to a large shade pine on one side and full sun on the other. Just bring your sleeping bags and a pillow and your here. Your morning view is through the camp area to the front pastures and our well written about cypress trees. It has a large queen sleeping platform and 2 bunk beds. A place to rest and relax on a quiet working ranch. We did add a camping light in the cabin.

Great spot! Large area for camping, lots of horses and farm animals and gorgeous views. Not the most private place we’ve camped, the spots are pretty close to each other. But overall it was an excellent stay and would recommend! Also the porta potty was very clean!

I loved site number two because there was a big tree shading the whole area and it was very very comfortable. The site numbers are far enough apart, where you have your own privacy and quiet. It was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend a Hipcamp, especially cornerstone. It was very well taken care of.

Perfect home base for coast trip

Cornerstone Ranch was a perfect home base for our trip to the coast. We explored all day and came back to a safe, beautiful, and peaceful place. I’ve never stayed at a working ranch before, but I read reviews and knew that I would hear the sounds that you would expect on a ranch. I’m pretty sure that my husband woke the rooster with his early out fishing trips. While his crows were noticeable, they were not annoying to me nor were the chickens, cows horses, and all kinds of other birds conducting their symphony each morning. I absolutely loved it! Seeing the horses doing their thing on each side of our campsite was also amazing. The trees are epic and I strongly recommend finding a seat in them for AM coffee. It’s an easy in & easy out and level ground. Multiple porta potties and water available. Kids play area was cool. As other reviews state, there is some traffic coming to and from the ranch, but I found them to be extremely respectful of the speed limits and no bother. Everyone seemed to respect the 10 o’clock quiet time, and the few people that we came in contact with were extremely nice. I would stay here again.

I rolled in just before dark, but everything was easy to find and Sarah was very helpful and welcoming when I called ahead to ask if my late arrival was okay. There were other campers there, but everyone was quiet and there was plenty of space between campsites. I would stay again for sure!

We loved being on a ranch, less formal set up for camping, but we had lots of space between tents & campers & there just weren’t that many sites so it was quiet & peaceful. It’s far enough off of I-5 & the road that takes you to the ranch that there was hardly any road noise. The clucks, neigh’s & moos were just the ticket!

We just did a quick stop for the night but it worked for everything we needed. We tent camped and the campsites are a nice size. We were able to pull in after dark and it wasn’t too hard to find our site and the port-a-potty. It was cute hearing the horses in the morning and you can’t beat how close it is to downtown Gold Beach.

The location was easy to find. The site was in a relatively flat pasture. The grass kept the dust down. The facilities well maintain with clean bathrooms. One could part a larger camper there easily. The best part is Cornerstone is a quiet spot tucked away by the Rogue River and a short distance from the beach. I will be going back.

We weren't expecting the campsites to be so open, but after repositioning our truck and cargo trailer, we were able to provide a private nook for our tent. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The porta potty was very clean and much appreciated. We enjoyed seeing the horses and chickens. The trees that line the driveway are remarkable.

The ranch was easy to find, the property was beautiful, and the ranch hands were very friendly! Dave introduced us to some of the horses, we got to pet them and feed them some snacks. My 5 year old was obsessed with feeding the chickens and Dave happily facilitated that every time, it was very sweet. I expect we will be back, with a few more family members in tow next time!

If you don’t care about a functional bathroom I would recommend this place. Only stayed for one night as I was passing through and just needed a safe place to park since I was car camping and an ok bathroom but the porta potty was very disappointing. Other than that, seems like a beautiful place to enjoy some quiet time and nature.
