'Royal Heart Hill' is at the very end of a Dead-End road, which means no sound or light pollution from passing cars or nearby residences. Surrounded by BLM and Timber properties, while being 6 miles from downtown CG (7 miles from the I5) and 30 miles from downtown Eugene.
All guests have access to the outdoor shower, which is connected to the Dome. Please use biodegradable soap in the shower! Potable water spigots are located by the carport and at the top of the steps leading down to our platform site. Each site has its own composting toilet, fire-pit, electrical outlet and hammock.
Nearby access to: two lakes for swimming and fishing, waterfalls and cliff-jumping, hiking and biking trails, dining, wineries, breweries, shopping and more. I am happy to offer suggestions and share what I know- please ask!
UPDATE: The timber acreage that borders our property- to the west and north of Overholser Road- was harvested winter 2024.
The property consists of Oak savanna, mixed conifer woodland, camas meadow, undulating hills and a SMALL pond (home to many rough-skinned newts- no swimming or fishing). At our domestead we practice permaculture, native habitat restoration and regenerative forestry.
Poison oak is present on the property! I have done my best to clear it from camping areas and trails. Tecnu is provided in the outdoor shower.
There is a mile long loop that goes around the whole property, which we keep mowed and accessible. Hipcampers are encouraged to use the loop to explore the property. To access- walk south/downhill toward the pond signs and follow the mowed path through the meadow and back up toward the road, which will take you back to your campsite. I have included a screenshot of the loop as recorded by my Strava app, which is in the property photos.
The property hosts a geodesic play-dome and slack-line (during the dry months) up by the green dome/outdoor shower. Guests may play on these at their own risk- the closest hospital is 7 miles away.

Please be aware that this is a wild landscape: ticks inhabit the bushes, poison oak grows randomly in the southwest corner, and cougars have been spotted frolicking on the hill.
You will find elk, deer, and cattle abounding across the property—though I do my best to keep the moos inbounds! 🤠🪻
Be a tree rooted around camp or frolic amongst nature on an adventure. The experience is yours to be had.
Have farm fresh eggs 🥚 available for purchase and if you don’t want to scavenge wood for a fire I sell bundles of dry split 🪵.
In garden season may have produce also. And apples in the fall.

The campground includes three active campsites, each with its own personality. Big Leaf Maple is slightly more open and social near the shared gathering area, Pacific Yew offers a bit more privacy with close-in parking, and the Group Site sits farther from the communal area, providing additional separation for larger groups and neighboring guests.
Flat parking areas and easy site access make FourLeafs especially comfortable for tent campers, car campers, and small camper vans. Travel trailers, tow-behind campers, and RVs cannot be accommodated.
The heart of the campground is a shared gravel gathering area with rustic log seating, ambient string lighting until 10:00 p.m., and a central table for meals, games, and conversation. During fire season, no wood, charcoal, propane fire pits, or recreational fires are permitted. Guests may bring an approved propane or liquid-fuel camp stove for cooking. Smoking is permitted on gravel only and with extreme caution.
Tent sites are covered with wood chips for a softer night's rest. Drinking-water-safe hose water is available throughout the campground.
Nearby you'll find McKenzie River access, Horse Creek, hiking, mountain biking, waterfalls, scenic drives, whitewater rafting, fishing, nearby hot springs, Tokatee Golf Club, and Cascade mountain pass exploration.
Wildlife sightings are common and may include deer, elk, foxes, and a wide variety of birds. If you enjoy birdsong, you'll likely fall in love with the Swainson's Thrush, whose beautiful calls echo through camp each morning and evening.

You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too.
Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek.

One mile from I-5, you may pitch your tent or park your van in a meadow near some fir trees bordering Elk Creek. Feel the restful flow of water bringing tranquility. Follow hiking trails along the creek, through groves of trees, or play in the singing creek. There is another hiking trail to another portion of the creek to the right of the road that passes by the barn. A sign on an oak tree indicates the edge of the large mowed meadow that will take you to another sign for the trail to the creek.
When entering the property at the county road, you’ll see a big Century Farm sign on the left at the driveway entrance.
Continue past a brown machine shed. You will see two apple trees on your left. Just beyond the apple trees is a sign, on a big fir tree. This sign points to the direction of the campsite. Shaped like an arrow it points to the mowed path down to the creek and campsite which you may drive.
Uphill from the campsite is a trail going through a small copse of trees that leads up to the red barn. On the left, at the entrance to the barn, is a bathroom complete with sink and shower. Towels are not provided.
Beneath the apple trees is a faucet with potable drink safety hose and a bucket for your use.

Welcome to The Good Farm! We offer meadow campsites on 32 pristine acres of regenerative AG land with plenty of room to drive your car, bike, or RV to your selected campsite. On busy weekends we have signage to direct you to zone A, preferred area for quiet guests or B, a group camp area where we host activities like karaoke, movies, and music that ends at 11PM. This is also when we close our gate at night for the safety of guests. If you arrive late please contact host and we will let you in.
We require all guests to check in and waiver upon arrival.
Don't forget your disc's and play the 3 hole frisbee golf course!
Happy to organize tours for our guests to meet the animals that are helping us build the land, and to take a peak at the tasty things we have growing! This hidden gem of a farm is expanding all the time, see what we've been up to this year at The Good Farm.
We love to show off our cooking skills ask host about what potlucks may be brewing that weekend.
We will have ice for sale and will be offering shuttle services for additional fee and upon request.
The meadow has improved drastically over the last year to be more friendly to your camp gear. Where there once was blackberry and scotch broom now native species are making a major come back! However, it is a process reclaiming the land please take care in selecting your tent site.

You almost don’t wanna give this a five star just because you don’t want everybody to start booking it and then you can’t book it. It was awesome. There’s lots of space, there is shade, the water is amazing . I would say the only downfall is the road noise, but there’s just no way to get around that.

As usual we love the river and wide open space. We love fishing and playing in the water. Sea bass are fun to catch and release. My grandkids love it there. Josh has made more improvements since last year. He has added more beautiful swings down on the lower part of the property for adults and kids. He has added some benches down there also. Nice improvements. Newer fire pits. They are awesome. We book a 7-8 day stay every summer now for 3 years. We love it. Thank you Josh! We Look forward to seeing what new changes there will possibly be next year.

After a summer of traveling this was the best place we've stayed. Probably the most private you can get while still having water and electric hookups. Beautiful view of green pastures framed by walls of trees and nearby mountains, and expansive, clear sky (and we were lucky enough to be here during a bright, full moon). Did not feel like the typical RV hipcamp and the hosts were fantastic about letting us isolate for as long as we were able to stay. Thank you so much, Jered and Stefanie.

Beautiful location looking over the farm land where you can hear the cows. Close enough o take a walk or ride a bike into town. The night sky is stunning.
Jered was so responsive to our questions, offering recommendations of events happening in the town, places to check out, and even a mechanic when we ran into troubles with our truck.
We arrived in time to watch Stand by Me in the park for the 40th anniversary of the movie. The museum in town has a walking tour to check out different scenes from the movie. The cemetery is really neat to walk around in, many folks from the 1800's. Our dog loved being able to run around in the field around the site as well.
