The property is beautiful and private creek access is so enjoyable. The studio is beautiful and spacious. It is perhaps the most well-appointed and supplied studio/room I've rented. There is enough kitchen equipment that one can make simple meals. Lovely, welcoming hosts with great intentions for their property and excellent communication and response times. A great getaway spot for a quiet forest retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was right over to greet us and give all the information we needed for a wonderful stay. Our granddaughters enjoyed picking fresh apples and plums,swimming in the creek and the walking trails on the property
This place was wonderful. Full of wonder ; the creek, the waterfall, the trail. The studio was so comfortable and bathroom was spa like. The space had everything we could need and more. Loved having cooking area and coffee bar. Awesome place

Lots of open space and recreation all around. Was quiet and peaceful for us and our 2 dogs. Had a great time.
Outstanding scenery, accommodation and host; an absolute gem. I met James who is super friendly and helpful, he even lent me his bicycle which made getting around the property extra enjoyable. James and Linda have done so much to improve this land to share with others and have more plans in the works. I look forward to my next visit!
The land was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It was great to not have to worry about our dogs. The walking trail was great to take the dogs out well groomed and nice and wide. It was my first time pulling our 30â trailer over a rail car bridge.
The Full hookups were an additional benefit, and they were easy to access.
We appreciate that James alerted us about what is happening in town, and went above and beyond to send us a flier about the blackberry Jam. He also met us when we arrived ,and he made a special trip to bring our dogs their treats , which they enjoyed.
The sole RV spot was very clean. Easy to access, firewood , a clean trash can, and picnic table were provided. In addition there are picnic tables out in the woods. Hope to visit again in the fall.
James also updated us that the studio guest one night had a dog, which was helpful for managing our guys.
The fire area was lovely and there was plenty of birds and butterflies.
Had an amazing time taking our RV out for the first time. James was awesome and super helpful getting us all set up and answering our questions about his site. The waterfall in the creek is very beautiful and you can swim below it. It was quiet and peaceful and we highly recommend checking this place out.

The studio was absolutely beautiful and so clean! The area surrounding the studio was breathtaking. James was an amazing host and very responsive and insanely nice! I would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend staying here! :)
First time taking our new camper out and this was the perfect spot! Very peaceful and relaxing. James was awesome and very helpful. The waterfall and creek are beautiful and you can swim below it, definitely check it out.

Modern Rustic Studio on the River
The location was easy to get to and instructions were provided by the hosts perfectly. The space is perfect, beautiful, and had everything you need including pup amenities if traveling with doggos. My pups loved the little treats that were there for them and loved exploring the trail and area. We will definitely be back when weâre ready to explore more of Oregon!
So quiet and relaxing. All you could hear was the river and the birds singing. Exactly what we needed when we needed a relaxing vacation away.

What a beautiful property. We enjoyed the river, hiking paths, and the starry. night! James is an excellent host, even had gourmet treats for our dog!
We had an amazing stay at Jamesâs place. The property is incredibly private and secluded, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful star-filled skies at night. James provided plenty of firewood, which made the evenings even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights of our stay was getting to know James. He was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. He took the time to explain everything in detail, including local attractions, nearby places to visit, and the hiking trails on the property. His knowledge of the area and hospitality made our experience even better.
If youâre looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, this is a fantastic place to stay.

This is a beautiful campsite!
Full hookups in a stunning forest setting.
There is a short hiking trail that weaves around the property and takes you to the river.
Another trail takes you to an amazing waterfall on the property.
The host was very attentive and even left out some dog treats.
WiFi worked great.
We went to mcreadie hot springs that day probably around 30-40 minutes away.
There is a small market maybe 15 minutes away.
We camp out a lot.
I would say in the past 4 years this was the best hipcamp site we have been to.

So quiet. Beautiful meadow next to camping spot. Close enough to Eugene to see our daughter-in-law for dinner twice. Lots of space to walk on trail nearby and cute bridge and waterfall near the driveway entrance. Hosts were available if you needed them, but respect privacy also. Recommend...
Great camping experience. James' trailer pad and hookups were perfect. The campground felt amazingly private and quiet. James was welcoming and helpful. The property had a beautiful hiking trail. We used this to stay close to the Covered Bridge Regatta, and it worked great, being just 15 minutes from the lake.

Modern Rustic Studio on the River
I had a nice and relaxing time staying here. I really enjoyed being immersed in the forest while still having a lot of amenities available. Having WiFi was a big plus and helped me feel a bit more safe as a solo traveler. My dog and I loved roaming around the property and checking out the trails/future campsites. You can tell a lot of love and hard work has been put into this land. I appreciate the thought put into everything (hygiene supplies in the restroom, leaving out dog treats/a bowl, snacks, the tea/nespresso pods, even creamer and water in the fridge). I am very pleased with my stay and will definitely be back/recommend this site to friends/family. Thank you for everything! đ

Perfect Place to Suck Out All the Marrow of Life!
Excellent directions and communication (limited cell service but awesome WiFi on site). The property is gorgeous with trails and waterfalls (and future campsites) to explore, and the surrounding area has plenty of hiking, swimming and recreating opportunities. The studio was a blend of modern tech and remote natural retreat and was outfitted with everything we needed to cook our own simple meals. Even though the main house is directly attached, James and Linda were so quiet we wouldnât even have known they were there if we hadnât seen the car parked outside the house. Weâd definitely love to go back and explore more of the area.

We took our airstream out for the first time to test it all out with our dogs. The property was peaceful and private and the trails off the property were great to explore.
James also had a fire all ready to be lit, firewood and a lighter on site for us.
Excited to see what they do with the property in the years to come.

We really enjoyed staying on James and Linda's property. The site was easily accessible with our 31' travel trailer. All hook-ups worked as expected and were conveniently located. The site was nice and level. The RV location is in site of the house and the workshop, but we weren't necessarily bothered by that, just be aware its not incredibly secluded from the rest of the property! The property is beautiful and we took advantage of walking around both the property as well as hiking the local Goodman Creek Trail and exploring the town of Lowell. James was incredibly friendly and accommodating! He met us at the site when we arrived, checked in with us after set-up to make sure WiFi etc was working well, and had gotten fire material set up for us before arrival. He even allowed us to borrow a battery charger after we blew a fuse in the trailer overnight the first night! A wonderful spot for a weekend get-away.

Nice location with good on-site amenities. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The rv sites are a little close together, but thankfully we were the only people there. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.
