**ABOUT THE PROPERTY**
Located between Portland and Mt. Hood, Camp Cedar Creek is a peaceful retreat tucked into a creek valley just off Highway 26. Only six minutes from downtown Sandy, but feels worlds away.
Our 37-acre property features Cedar Creek, ponds, trails, and meadows. While we have a handful of sites that comfortably accommodate 2-4 guests, many of our most popular sites are ideal for families, friend groups, and gatherings looking for space to spread out.
Cool off in the creek, hike the trails, read by the water, watch wildlife, or pick blackberries when they're in season. Whether you're road-tripping through the Pacific Northwest, working remotely from your van, or simply seeking a quiet weekend outdoors, there's a place for you here.
We acknowledge that Camp Cedar Creek is on the traditional homelands of Indigenous peoples including the Multnomah, Wasco, Molalla, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Grand Ronde, and we ask guests to treat this land with care and respect.
**IMPORTANT POLICIES**
4WD/AWD REQUIRED PAST THE BARN: Only AWD and 4WD vehicles may access the creekside campground. Guests with 2WD vehicles may park in the entry lot.
NO TRAILERS: Due to steep hills, sharp turns, and damage cawe no longer accommodate trailers or tow-behind campers.
PACK IN, PACK OUT: Please take all trash and recycling with you when you leave.
DOGS: Dogs are welcome throughout the property. Off-leash dogs are permitted in the creekside campground and must be leashed around the Blue Barn.
QUIET HOURS: 10pm-9am.
NO FIREARMS, FIREWORKS, OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: Camp Cedar Creek is designed for guests seeking a peaceful outdoor experience rather than a late-night party environment.

Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.
Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.

The cabin on the property was built by the original homesteaders. Britta and Jim purchased the property in 2009. It had been vacant for a number of years. Giant slash piles scattered the land from previous logging.
The house and cabin were not livable and needed major renovations. In 2019, we purchased and brought in a city bus and converted it to a campers kitchen.
A year-round creek flows through the property and 3 major rivers are nearby. The Zigzag Mountain Lookout Trail leaves from the property. The property was homesteaded in the early 1900's. E. Mountain Drive was the wagon train trail into Portland, known as the Barlow Trail.
Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city.

We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good.
We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent.
This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

Mike went above and beyond as a host. Mike was friendly and quick to respond while coordinating arrival. We were greeted and shown to the tent area, and given all the information about the property. We were even given a free tomato plant!
It was really lovely to have access to a hot shower and an indoor common space, felt like glamping!
The tent site was close to the other sites so it didn’t feel secluded, but it was quiet.
It was a perfect first camping trip with my 4 month old, thanks Mike.

This is a well kept campground with a beautiful drive along the river to reach it. The host was very accommodating allowing us to upgrade from a tent site to one of the cabins after a long day of driving in the cold and rain. The host also provided a welcome pamphlet with great information about local attractions and stores to restock or grab a bite to eat. Great to see small businesses working together to help each other out.

We had the most magical stay at the lavender farm hip camp just outside Silverton, OR. Tucked 20 minutes away from Silver Falls State Park, this spot is the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Falling asleep to the croaking frogs from the nearby pond and waking up to breathtaking views of the surrounding farmland and rolling hills was exactly what we needed.
The host was incredibly welcoming, and the campsite was well-maintained and private. We loved wandering the lavender fields, taking in the beautiful landscape, and spending time with the friendly farm animals—the goats, sheep, horses, cows and chickens were absolute highlights, and even the 2 dogs came by to say hello. It added such a warm, charming touch to the stay.
We had the best of both worlds: peaceful farm vibes and stunning waterfall hikes at Silver Falls State Park. Clean, quiet, and unforgettable—we’re already planning our return next summer. Highly recommend for nature lovers, animal lovers, and anyone needing a serene escape!

It’s an RV park, but honestly, we had a really nice stay. Check-in instructions on the app could be clearer. No one was at the office when we arrived, but thankfully I noticed the pamphlets on the wall for registered guests, which had all the information we needed.
The only other issue was that our site didn’t have a fire pit ring, but we were able to grab one from the neighboring site without any trouble. The amenities for kids were amazing, and the showers and restrooms on site were clean and well maintained.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this place.

We rented RV spot 51 over Memorial Day weekend. It was full for the holiday weekend and the first day felt very crowded. It really cleared out the next day and having a space buffer between occupied sites was welcome. The property is lovely and has a variety of nice spots for RVs, tents, and cabin rentals. There is a wetland right next to the property and it was full of geese and ducks. Loved the wildlife! The location is supreme. Walking distance from downtown and the beach. Its right on the Ne Cus (river outlet) that's between Haystack Rock and Chapman Point. We will definitely come back. There are a couple useful videos on YouTube that walk through the property to help you get a better idea of which site to choose.

While the site is next to the main road, it was such a lovely area to be in. It was very spacious compared to other sites. It was well maintained and made for a great place to stay. If worried about road noise, be assured that it dies down significantly in the evening/night!

We were worried at first about being so close to the road, however, the overall property provides ample opportunity for solace. We enjoyed the creek, canoe, and an impromptu bonfire with adjacent campers. Fond memories 😊

近くに釣り場もあってよかったです。シャワー室も綺麗でした。しかし、受付のところに私の名前のカードが無くて誰かに取られたのかもしれません。幸い友達がいたのでパスワードとかわかりました。

Site 3 was the perfect little private spot for tent camping! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the site had everything we could’ve asked for. We loved being tucked away with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the weekend. The driftwood along the beach provided more than enough firewood for us the entire stay, which made the evenings by the fire even better.
The site was easy to find and completely worth the trip. Clover (the dog) came by to visit us often and was such a sweet bonus to the experience. We even spotted a pig a few times! Overall, it was such a peaceful and fun camping experience, and we already plan on coming back. Thanks again, Danny!

Had a great time Camping on Danny's land on the Snake river. Kids fished, swam and made s'mores at night-all within steps of camp. Danny was very accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. Boat Launch was super easy to access.

Highly recommend to anyone wanting a safe, relaxing, family & pet friendly atmosphere.
We absolutely loved our stay. Mike & Stephany are courteous, attentive hosts who seem genuinely eager to ensure their guests are right at home. The “barn” offers everything one might need for an extended stay and is a great place to hang out in the evenings for family game night.
The property itself is very well kept; the sites are private, the grounds are clean and safe for kids to roam. The large, communal fire pit was kept ‘ready’ for s’mores at all times. Our kids also enjoyed playing on the swing set near the barn. The beds in the bunkhouse are very comfortable; quality bed linens and excellent, comfy memory foam (new condition) mattresses on all beds. Potable drinking water is a great bonus for those trying to travel light. We usually travel with our own water filter so the great tasting drinking water was a nice surprise!

We really enjoyed staying here! They took such good care of us and made us feel welcome. The place has all of the facilities and amenities that you would need. We were far enough away from other campers that it felt private. It was so clutch that they had a stocked kitchen! That saved us a few times when we realized we forgot something we needed at home, and when we needed to wash our dishes. The communal firepit was nice, we met some other campers and enjoyed their company and the ambiance. And you could see the stars so clearly from our campsite! There are trails in the forests all around the campsite to explore, and so many beautiful hiking spots in the area. We would absolutely stay here again.
