Bay Point Campground — 6 out of 5 stars! So good, we stayed another night! What a great campground! Bay Point has a little bit of everything: beautiful facilities, a saltwater pool, camp store, bar/lounge, kids room, playground, bocce ball courts, and options to bring your own setup or rent trailers and cabins — all right on the shoreline of Coos Bay. The grandkids loved the beach and all the kid-friendly amenities, and there were plenty of other kids to play with. It was peaceful at night, too, which made it feel relaxing for everyone. The laundry room, showers, and restrooms were immaculate. This place is truly a hidden gem on the coast!

Aesthetic and well positioned glamp
Kamp Haus
Aesthetic and well positioned glamping in Coos Bay! The amenities were great - we especially enjoyed the public patio areas and thought the architecture was beautiful - this would be a really cool spot for a smaller wedding reception or event!!! My only gripe was the blinds on the windows - we had to open the windows to cool down the space but it was pretty windy most of the time and would cause the blinds to slam against the windows constantly, which was too loud to ignore. Some more landscaping between the cabins would be great but I can see that trees are planted and it will just take a bit of time. Really enjoyed having a fire in our fire pit and watching the sun set from our porch. Bed was very comfortable, great water pressure, cute interiors - overall, amazing place!

We absolutely loved camping here with our travel trailer! Peaceful views and surroundings plus the amenities were everything we could have asked for. Perfect blend of aesthetic modern camping with the feel of a classic campground. Would 100% stay again :)

Waterview Airstream - Queen
This is my second time staying at Bay Point Landing and can't wait to come back. The Airstream was spacious and had everything we needed. Plenty of activities for all ages. There was a bundle of wood and snacks waiting for us when we checked-in. One of the staff even stopped by with some fire starter sticks when they noticed I was having trouble getting it to light. The salt water pool has a great view of the bay and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Love this place!

A+ for vision, C for execution. Beautiful location. Thoughtful amenities that need improvement or refresh. The activity room had a shuffleboard with no pucks, and a bunch of board games with missing pieces (except for the Jenga). The onsite food truck is not functioning right now. The person at the front desk said they got in trouble with the fire martial and were shut down. The Airstream we stayed in was fine. It had plenty of wine glasses and cooking equipment but no plates or bowls. My kids found old french fries under the table in the Airstream. Gross. There was also no bedding for the second bed. They included some mini chocolates which my kids opened only to find it looked like it had melted and solidified a few dozen times. They have their own branded coffee which was decent. My kids loved playing in the pool, and did a few dozen laps with some older ladies that were getting in their morning exercise. I appreciated that they were so willing to hang with small energetic kids. The gym looked well equipped, but we didn't use it. Very dog friendly, though you'll need to keep your doggo on leash the entire time. The town of Coos Bay is cute. 7 Devils Brewing is awesome and has great kids options with a phenomenal beer, wine, and whiskey menu.

Great RV park. Views of the bay, hookups and dump right at your site, heated swimming pool, workout facility, room for kids to watch tv. Free cookie every day. This place is beyond our expectations. Can’t wait to come back.

Bay point is beautifully set right on Coos Bay and is such a wonderful place to camp. The campground is clean, and they have a beautiful indoor pool, fitness center, children's den, and community hangout space with shuffleboard, games, and comfy couches. The staff are absolutely amazing and work so hard to provide you with the best experience. This is our new favorite spot, and we will be back! We rented an RV site that was spacious with your own personal firepit (they deliver firewood to your site) and picnic table. We look forward to trying out a cabin next time!

Bay Point Landing was an awesome place to camp! The beach is beautiful and low tide is the prefect time to go claming. The pool, activity room, and clubhouse were very nice. The showers also had all the things you need and are very nice. I would go back there anytime.

Waterfront Kamp Haus
Overall I enjoyed staying in the waterfront cabin, but there were a couple things that could be improved on. Check-in starts at 4:00pm but when I arrived at 4:15pm I was told it would be 60-90 minutes before the cabin would be clean. The couple who checked in before me and the family after me also were told they would have to wait. Once at the cabin I noticed quite a bit of wear and tear to it. Rust on some of the bathroom fixtures, broken piece of wood in the closet area. I understand that things wear out but for the price per night I had hoped for more. The porch, patio, and sunken fire pit area were amazing! I also loved mini sand dune with sea grass that were used as wind blocks/ privacy barriers to separate outdoor space. The outdoor area was great for watching the birds over the bay and beautiful sunsets!

Bay Point Landing is a well cared for RV park right on Coos Bay. Our site was a Seabreeze site. Not too close to the water, but close enough to see the bay and very easy walk to the beach. The facilities are beautiful. The laundry & bathrooms are spotless and the cost to wash or dry is a steal. $2.50 for 40 min wash, and a 60 min dry. Wow. Sites are far enough apart. Remember you are on the bay, so you're not going to have shade trees. It can get windy, too. Plenty of places to shop & eat in town. The town of Coos Bay is a bit worn and many places are not well taken care of. We drove up and down the 101 to visit beaches & lighthouses. If you have the time, go to Bandon Beach. It's beautiful.

Dune Cabin
I loved this place! Kids loved swimming in the pool and playing in the Kids’ Den, and the Dune Cabin was clean and well appointed. Will at the front desk was really helpful with hike recommendations. Really comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked. Would love to stay here again someday!

Quick stopover on our way down the coast! This airstream had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Wish we had more time to make use of the amenities (fire pit, pool). Nice and quiet secluded area and there’s a place down the road you can rent crab traps! (davey jones)

Dune Cabin
Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Bay Point Landing. From the saltwater pool to the awesome dune cabin, the kids had an absolute blast. S’mores at night around the campfire and coffee provided in the dune cabin, beautiful grounds and views all around, we will be back!

Relaxing visit
Timber Haus w/Loft
I enjoyed visiting Bay Point Landing with my partner! It was a relaxing visit on the Oregon coast. The Timber Haus cabin was spacious, especially for just 2. The space was generally clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. A note that all of the Timber Haus cabins do not have a waterfront view, so bear that in mind when booking.

The glamping resort was luxurious with a clean and beautiful pool and gym. The Airstream rental we stayed in was clean and well equipped for all our needs. I would recommend Bay Point to all my friends looking for an OR rental close to all the fun the coast has to offer.

A Gem
Kamp Haus
Easy to find, right on the bay with 180 degree views. Location was prime. The pool is saltwater and felt delicious. The gym had what you’d need. Hiking trails and state parks are just up or down the road. Extremely helpful and kind staff. My little wee cabin was perfect. Kitchen, great shower and the bed was very comfy. Went to the coast to relax and take in the views and I was able to both and beyond.

Lovely but poor communication

Lovely location with lots of amenities, however the check-in was pretty frustrating. Driving up we got a call from someone from the Baypoint Landing office requesting a credit card be put on file (but we had paid via Hipcamp). She then said we could text a number when we arrive for instructions. I confirmed with her that our late arrival was okay and she assured me it was. On arrival, I texted the number but no one replied. The slot number isn’t provided on the reservation so we weren’t sure where to go. We walked around in the cold and rain looking for an office and I never received a text back. My partner finally texted the number an hour later and he got a response. Not sure if the network is just not working very well there? Outside of not ever receiving any info, the site was clean and spacious.
