**Please note: this property is for SELF-CONTAINED campers only - no toilet or hookups available (hose water and trash disposal on site). NO Class A RVs, Fifth Wheels, or Toy Haulers.** Beautiful Prosper Bluff is close to the charming town of Bandon, world class beaches, Bullards Beach State Park, Whiskey Run mountain bike trails, Bandon Dunes golf resort, and more. We are conveniently located right off Hwy 101, just a few minutes from town. Prosper Bluff is close to all the amenities and recreation, yet private and peaceful with a large open field surrounded by river, estuary, forest, and cranberry bogs. All guests can book an hour in our beautiful sauna with a view for an additional $25. We offer two types of campsites at Prosper Bluff: Our Prosper Bluff with river access site can accommodate individuals or small groups of up to 3 small or medium-sized camp vehicles*. This open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view and privacy away from other campers while being close to town and recreation opportunities. Guests will have river and dock access via a trail that starts at the campsite, and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff. Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located. Please message us with any questions. Our Prosper Bluff with river access site can accommodate self-contained campers (no toilet or hookups available) in groups of up to 3 small or medium-sized camp vehicles*. Our open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view and privacy away from other campers while being close to town and many recreation opportunities. Guests have river and dock access via a trail** that starts at the campsite and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or just taking in the beautiful scenery from the river's edge. Check out our boat, the "Fun Sway", built 30 miles upriver and our pond with goldfish. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp with the convenience of being close to it all. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff. Class A RVs, Toy Haulers, and Fifth Wheels are too large for the road getting to our property. **The trail is steep in some spots and could be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Our two peaceful Van Camp sites are adjacent to forest and cranberry bogs and each suitable for ONE self-contained campervan or truck camper (25 foot max length). These sites are too small to accommodate a vehicle pulling a trailer (unless under 25 feet total length) or longer RVs. No toilet or hookups available. Car/Tent campers are welcome if traveling with camp toilet or planning on using nearby public restrooms. While these sites don't offer the river views of our Bluff site, they're perfect for campers looking for a quiet and safe place to spend the night while exploring the Bandon area. Each site offers a flat grassy spot along the trees to park your vehicle and a convertible bench/table for two. Trees provide variable shade throughout the day. You will find plenty of room to turn around for easy in and out. Guests have access to a potable water hose and trash bin a short walk or drive from your site. Site 2 is the second site you'll come to as you arrive at Prosper Bluff. It offers a bit more privacy than Site 1 and has a nice protected area for a smaller tent. Trees provide plenty of seclusion from Site 1.

This campsite is truly a hidden gem. The views of the river from the site are breathtaking, and the dock offers a peaceful, stunning backdrop. Our host was exceptionally accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay memorable despite our last-minute booking. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene getaway with top-tier hospitality.

What an absolutely beautiful place. So peaceful and so relaxing. The drive-in was perfect. The directions provided very easy to follow. Parking on site #1, looking out over the river was easy and leveling out was not a problem. We had the river to one side and open field to the other side. Quiet and peaceful but the mosquitoes were enjoying it as much as we were. (They were pretty intense at times.) It was a great place to have our dog and we appreciated everything about the site. Very easy to get into town and do anything else that you want to do. We never saw Nicole & Brian, not even sure if they were there. We were told to call if we had any questions and we didn’t. When in the area again, we would be honored to stay again.

The site is nice and private but is exposed to a north wind. The trail to the river is badly overgrown and unusable in it's present state. There is a fair amount of traffic noise from the 101 which is only about 1/2 mile away.

The hosts were very kind! Brian warmly welcomed us to the property, gave us recommendations for local hikes, and even invited us to play basketball with him! We loved this spot and would highly recommend to anyone passing through!

Normally we try to disperse camp, but this visit to the area, we needed to ensure we had a camping spot for a couple of nights in a row while attending an event and visiting family during the day. After having a couple of bad experiences at state campgrounds (loud neighbors partying into the early morning, and no one around to enforce the rules) we were looking for a quiet location to ensure a good night’s rest. I found Nicole and Brian’s Hipcamp, booked it, and we had an outstanding experience. This is a beautiful piece of property that is very quiet and peaceful. There are only 3 sites, which helps to ensure a relaxing and peaceful camping experience. Sites 1 & 2 are very nice with the Prosper Bluff site being a standout with its amazing views overlooking the river. There was plenty of space for our dog to get her zoomies out as well. It can get breezy, and there are mosquitoes, but if you’re properly prepared, you’ll have a great experience here. We look forward to staying here again during our next trip to the area.

I loved staying at Brian and Nicole’s Prosper Bluff site. It was an absolutely beautiful view. The property was a perfect location to use as a base camp to explore the area. Brian was a pleasure to talk with and gave some great suggestions of places to go and thanks to see. I highly recommend this location and if ever I’m on a road trip again through the Oregon coast I will use this as a base camp again. Thank you, Brian and Nicole for making your property available for other others to enjoy.

The location in Bandon was close to incredible beaches but very private. Views from the top of the bluff were expansive. We loved the “throne” made out of driftwood to sit on. Great HipCamp.

It’s a beautiful place perched above the Coquille River, and it’s very close to Bandon. We met Brian, he was very engaging. He told us about all the nearby places worthy of visiting including restaurants. We had a better experience there because of our conversation with him. Finding their place was very easy, they gave precise directions to it.

Nicole and Brian were EXCELLENT hosts and their property was beyond our expectations. It was gorgeous with a beautiful view- so peaceful! We sat outside and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. The skies were clear so at night we were able to do lots of star gazing- love that. We will definitely be back!

The most amazing view to wake up to! Our 1 year old son had a blast roaming around the site and watching fishing boats on the river. Nicole and Brian were so welcoming and helpful! 10/10 recommend to anyone passing through the area!

This place is our favorite coastal camp. The location is perfect as a base camp while heading off on Bandon or Port Orford excursions or to simply enjoy the quiet scenery of the river and wildlife refuge. A camping home away from home.

Beautiful view overlooking the river. Very peaceful and great for bird watching. Location is also ideal for a Bandon weekend! Close to the lighthouse, beach, town, and mountain biking trails.

Very well cared for property with nice river view. Trash and water were great to have. The trek to the water is a ways and not really good if your plan is to take a kayak or sup down to the water which was why I booked. Just a heads up if that's what you're expecting with the river access. The site really needs a picnic table of some sort and portajohn for the price. The non-river access sites are right next to each other so not much privacy. Nice location and grounds.

Huge level property overlooking the river with a few site options including the bluff site with an incredible view. Secluded quiet place and the pooch really enjoyed the room to roam a bit. Affable friendly host Brian was hugely informative with great suggestions and local knowledge. I will definitely be back !

Very close to the city of Bandon although you would never know because of the peaceful setting. There was a lot of field for my dog to run around in (with a GPS collar) which he enjoyed. Great communication from the owners.
