Cranberry Overlook is a large, 75-acre, organic farm situated just a mile from the incredibly scenic Oregon coast. Our primary crops are cranberries and blueberries, however, we grow a variety of responsibly raised fruits, vegetables, herbs, chestnuts, and mushrooms, too. The farm is certified organic by Oregon Tilth and deeply committed to creating and maintaining a diverse, sustainable ecosystem. Dispersed camping is situated in a quiet corner of the farm, overlooking one of our three cranberry bogs. It is out of view of the main house in a fenced area, giving you a cozy, private experience surrounded by mature trees, roaming sheep and a cool ocean breeze. Spend time hiking our 75-acre property, touring the farm on foot, gathering around the fire ring or exploring the quaint, coastal town of Bandon. Traveling the coast via Highway 101? Stay with us on your way! Or, even better, make Black Moon Farms your multi-night getaway, enjoying the peace and quiet of life on the farm. Last, but certainly not least, we are home to 35 sheep, wild lobster mushrooms and 12 ponds scattered around the property for irrigation and stock water. A five-acre grove of chestnuts is at the front of the property, along with numerous pine trees, redwoods, eucalyptus and a variety of shrubs.

What a beautiful peaceful place! If you’re a solo traveler and want your own space, this is the place to go. I pulled in late, but had no problem getting here. I felt safe here.

It only had electricity but WOW the place was awesome. Never saw the sheep but also never saw anyone else. A farm way off the beaten path. Will stay again if I'm ever close by.

Great private spot. My husband and I took our dog with us and he loved it there. There was even some firewood waiting for us at our camp site. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This place is easily one of the best places we have ever camped. You need to be here to fully understand and feel it, but the vibes are, as they say, immaculate. We will absolutely be back.

Honestly, our experience here didn’t go very well. First and foremost, it was confusing where exactly we were supposed to camp. The listing mentioned a fire pit and a bathroom. We located the only campsite with a fire pit that was in the general vicinity of where the directions led us (no map was provided, the sites were not marked, no one answered our calls). There was a compost toilet near the campsite, so we figured it was ours. There was a stove on the table and lights hanging, but nothing else. After calling the number listed & getting no response, we hung in the area for a while and started to get comfortable. Evening approaches and a couple pulls up in their van and says we are in their spot. We felt horrible, and although we didn’t use or touch any of their things, we had assumed what was left behind by them were provided by the camp host, considering we went to where the directions led us. Overall really killed the vibe of the whole trip, with a couple quite angry at us, and no clue where we were supposed to be. Even the couple we accidentally stole the campsite from were unsure of where we were supposed to go, as nothing else around looked like a proper campsite. We were also told a bundle of firewood would be provided, and that extra would be available to buy. The only wood we could locate were full, somewhat wet logs, too thick for a hatchet. None anywhere to purchase, and no free “bundle” in sight. Pretty disappointed and ultimately did not have a great time.

Nice flat sites for my van. Quiet and peaceful. I didn’t stay for a full day but it was a great stop. Nick came by and introduced himself, really nice guy!

Go straight at the barn! (Don't go left!) Lovely pastoral land, mellow sheep, we could hear the rolling surf, the site was level and private--even though one other site was visible, adirondack chairs and wooden picnic table with benches were a bonus, and the fire pit was great! Nick is a patient, attendant host. I highly recommend this farm!

Great stay at this sheep farm. Easy to find, chill experience overall. The farm dog is super sweet. Sites are far enough apart it's private, quiet and dark. Had a good sleep here and would stay again. Fire pit & wood was provided(when bought) along with picnic bench.

What i noticed first was the beautiful tree-lined drive in to the property. Gorgeous farm with lots of privacy between camps. Pleasantly surprised with the adirondack-type chairs around the fire pit. Beautiful picnic tables and flat areas for tents, etc. Loved the big dog mascot as well!

Beautiful property and the perfect location for our relaxing anniversary getaway! Nick was a great host (and so was Bella... the very sweet dog who hung out with me while I relaxed in my hammock). Our site had shade, a picnic table, fire pit, and also had power. My wife and I had a fantastic 3-night stay.

We stayed here on a trip to bike at Whiskey Run. We appreciated the quietness and space. The property is beautiful. Nick was welcoming and helpful, and the other campers near us were friendly. We’d stay again if back in the area!

Wow! This place hit the mark for us in so many ways. This was our first family trip, camping with a 7 month old (inadvisable), so having beautiful, serene wide open meadows really was amazing, and our dogs were over the moon! Elise and Kevin stopped by to welcome us and were ready to answer any questions we had. What a beautiful piece of property! We will absolutely be back. I want to tell everybody, but I also want to keep it our own little secret. thank you!

We had a great experience camping here. It’s a beautiful location that is quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. The owner is very easy to communicate with and responsive. It’s nice to have a firepit with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The sheep are an added bonus to go and visit. It’s close enough to Bandon to be convenient but far enough away to still feel isolated. I would highly recommend camping here and we definitely plan to return.

It was wonderful to be in a place where the earth felt cared for. This gave us an immediate sense of peace. This is a working organic farm where the owner has integrated the animals and crops into the environment. The small sheep herd seemed healthy and content. There was ample space between the campsites (distances of at least 75 to 100 yards) which is such a contrast to regular RV campgrounds. There seemed to be a permaculture feel to the whole endeavor. We felt very much at peace there. I wish all farms had the owner's level of intentionality

Amazing camp. I stayed at bog 2. Lots of privacy, nice fire pit, clean spots, huge tent and comfy bed on a nice deck. My favorite was listening to the ocean at night, close enough to hear, far enough to protect you from the wind. I loved everything about this place. We ran up and down the coast all day and crashed at camp. Took showers at local campgrounds when needed. Weve stayed at alot of camps and this is our favorite. We are gonna come back!

I've been staying at Cranberry Overlook for about a month. It's very quiet, private, and serene. The property is surrounded by trees and open land so you have room to roam. Downtown Bandon is 10 minutes north and Langois 5 minutes south. There's two small markets so you can easily stock up on food, ice, and essentials. Local shops, coffee shops, and a nursery are nearby too. You'll meet Nick's super sweet pooch, Bella and two cats, Annie and Hugo. Sheep occasionally are around. Birds sing and keep you company and you can hear the ocean in the distance. Noise from highway traffic is pretty faint. Nick is very responsive when you need things while camping. That's pretty rare with most people on the Oregon coast. Highly recommended and affordable so just book your stay.

The property is amazing and we hated to pack up and leave after our 5 days here. The farm is beautiful and our spot was perfect- away from other campers, plenty of room for the dog to play fetch, and a fire pit for the evenings! Nick is awesome and Bella the dog is a big sweetheart. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Another fabulous stay at the best place. Nick was responsive and accommodating. The dogs loved being able to run and swim on the property and also being a short drive from the beach. The 3 campsites are spread out enough to have privacy. And Bella was such a sweet girl hanging out with our pack during afternoon happening and walks some of the days.
