Site 28 is a rent site that is essentially 3 feet wide and in the road of the culdesac. Not an ideal spot for anything but a solo camper or car sleeping. The amenities of the overall campground are in great shape and warm showers are always nice to have. Plus a dish station is highly underrated which this place has.

Loved this spot!! It felt private even though it was a “busy” spot. No issues at all and very very nice facilities. Would stay here again and wish we could have stayed multiple nights. More than walkable to cannon beach… everything.

The location could not be better for walking to the beach or into town. Anybody who visits Cannon Beach on a weekend knows parking can be brutal. Setting up at The Retreat eliminated the parking problem. The grounds are nice. Sites are packed in, so expect to be close to your neighbors. Bathrooms are clean and functional. The sauna is nice and worth the spend.

Amazing location. 10 minute walk to the beach along a waterside urban trail. Our site 31 was really nice amongst the trees. Just a little far from the bathroom imo. Could really benefit from 4 or 5 outhouses/ porta potties throughout the campsite. Other than that it was perfect.

The cabin is right next to the store/laundry and sauna. Sauna is amazing! It’s within walking distance to all Cannon beach has to offer. It’s a small campground, so quite cozy. Cabin has everything you need and comfortable beds. Campground very quiet.

We enjoyed our one night stay at this campground. It was within walking distance to town and the beach. Some of the sites were small, but it was adequate for our needs. They had some of the nicest and cleanest campground bathrooms I've ever seen. The dish sinks (and sponges and soaps to use!) was also next level and much appreciated!

We ended our 18-day roadtrip at The Retreat. Man, do we wish we had more than just this one night here! This was our favorite campsite of the trip. Super clean bathrooms and showers, laundry, ice, and very close proximity to Cannon Beach. There are family/handicapped stalls as well. We will 100% be back in our future and spend more than just one evening here. My only silly criticism is the numbered sites are a bit confusing especially at sunset when office closed, but we figured it out eventually 🤣.

We had a great stay! The location is fantastic—about a 10-minute walk to both downtown Cannon Beach and the beach. The bathrooms and facilities were nice and well maintained, and we really appreciated the earlier check-in and later checkout times compared to most campgrounds. The sites are a little crowded with not much privacy, but the convenient location more than makes up for it. We’d definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Retreat at Cannon Beach! The campground was clean and well maintained, and the staff and hosts were very friendly. We especially loved how close it was to the beach. Having showers was a huge plus, and they were kept nice and clean. The campground was also surprisingly quiet during our stay. There are plenty of trees and shrubs throughout the property, which gives it a nice coastal camping feel. The biggest downside for us was how close the campsites are together. The sites are packed pretty tightly, so at times it felt like everyone was stacked right on top of each other. The campground is also very close to the freeway, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend it if being close to Cannon Beach is a priority. Clean facilities, friendly people, and a great location near the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Retreat at Cannon Beach overall! The location is great if being close to the beach is important to you, and we loved how easy it was to get down to the ocean. The campground itself was clean and well kept, and having showers available was a huge plus. The showers were also surprisingly clean for a campground. The hosts and staff were very friendly, and despite having quite a few people around, it was actually really quiet during our stay. Our biggest complaint was how tight the campsites are. Everyone is basically stacked right on top of each other, so there isn’t much privacy or room between you and your neighbors. The campground is also very close to the freeway, which takes away a little from that peaceful camping-in-the-woods feeling. The weather was your typical Cannon Beach weather, but that’s part of camping on the Oregon Coast! 😂🌊 Overall, we had a good stay. If you’re looking for a clean campground that’s close to the beach with nice staff and showers, it’s a good option. Just be prepared for tight campsites and the nearby freeway.

It’s a great location! A little too close to other campers for my liking and very expensive (like $125 a night). I’m self contained so it was a lot to pay but camping is so limited in the area. It’s got great bathrooms. Too crowded for me. Again, great location!

Fantastic! Very cool place to stay. Having a shared outdoor sink for cleaning dishes was amazing. Showers weren’t hot but warm enough after a long day of sweating and hiking they did the job comfortably. Everyone was so nice and chill, the workers helped me when I asked questions. Great location! I will definitely be back!!! Kinda bummed I just found this place, I would have been staying there for years!

This campsite is close to the town, which makes it easy to go to the beach and stores. The grounds are well kept, and the bathrooms are very clean and close. The biggest drawback is as others have mentioned the tent sites are super close together and there is little privacy. A suggestion to the hosts would be to place more shrubs between each site so your not staring at your neighbors. Overall it was a great stay!

Nice camp site with good bathrooms and dish washing station. However the sites were terribly crowded and close together with ambiguous boundaries and the fire pit in the only flat spot for the tent, so we were unable to have a fire for that reason. The location was fantastic though.
