This was a treasure of a camp spot for our family of 4. We loved the view, outdoor kitchen set up, propane fireplace, swing from tree, exploring woods, listening & watching the animals nearby! The sauna & outdoor shower on property made our visit extra peaceful & relaxing! Carly was a wonderful host!
The vista camping spot is quite lovely and the sauna/outdoor shower were amazing amenities. The platform is quite secluded and has a great view, though you can hear some of the neighbors and we did hear consistent gun shots from a nearby property throughout one morning.

We had a great stay at this campsite! The amenities were amazing, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The campsite was a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and we really appreciated everything that was provided.
The hike up to the campsite was also a steeper incline than I expected but doable just be prepared. You can also hear the surrounding neighbors but it’s still very private and seclude.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought the campsite was beautiful. The hosts provided a great setup with everything you could possibly need, and we’d definitely consider staying again.

This camp was the best I’ve ever stayed at! Carly provided an amazing space for us to enjoy the weekend!
We stayed 1 night at the vista tent. The place isn’t a long drive from Portland, easy to find, parking is well marked.
The climb to the vista tent is tough, especially after it rained. We had to go back a few times to get all of our stuff, but I treated it as a workout.
The view from the campsite is amazing! It feels secluded, and scenic. The platform, patio, kitchenette, and bathroom (we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the sauna - next time!) are well built and thoughtfully arranged. It rained when we stayed, but we mostly stayed clean (even with the dog) because of the patio and the deck.
The platform was a bit tough to set up the tent on. Our tent didn’t fit (we have a 6-person tent with a vestibule). And it was tricky to secure it, we didn’t bring extra cords! But we managed eventually and it was nice to sleep on a platform rather than cold wet ground.
The grill, kettle, stocked kitchen, cooler were nice touches that made our time there the most enjoyable.

I’ve stayed at Amico Farms several times over the years and have sent plenty of friends and family here, but getting to share this special place with my beautiful wife made this visit my favorite yet. ♥️
This yurt is simply paradise on earth. Peaceful, romantic, ridiculously cozy. Glamping perfection. Kevin and Carly are incredible hosts, and every detail feels thoughtful and intentional.
And the sauna… absolute heaven. We LOVED it. ♥️
Some places just hold a little magic. This will always be one of mine.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot! We loved hearing all the animal noises, and the amenities were dreamy, helping us keep our supplies list short. The outdoor shower was a fave, and the views are stunning. Note that you're pretty close to a few neighbors just down the valley, but it's still very private up on the hill.

We love this Yurt, having running water, fully functional bathroom, and enough electrcity glamping are a hugh plus. We enjoyed ourselves inspite of the temperatures and wildfire smoke.
Incredible place and experience. All the yurt details were just as described. Helpful messages from Carly, as well as notes left in the yurt put me at ease and I had no unanswered questions. Really appreciated the small kitchen and was able to cook all our meals here between the grill and campfire. The sleeping beds were comfortable and we slept so good. I did not expect such a fine bathroom, was a treat. Almost the entire time, it was so quiet; all we heard was nature. We added on farm eggs, thankful for our that. I cannot wait to go back here, and in the meantime- tell my friends about it. I highly highly recommend this yurt!

Very nice spot to camp for a few days! We loved the view from our tent. My wife and I went on a few long runs along to nice backroads nearby and enjoyed getting to relax in the sauna after.

We had an amazing time camping! The private area was spacious with enough room to comfortably fit two tents, 4 people and 2 dogs. It was packed with amazing amenities, including an outdoor kitchen, compost toilet, and a shared space with a hot shower and sauna. There are wagons to help transfer your belongings from car parking to site - it is short but pretty inclined so be sure to pack light. It's in a perfect location, not too far from town and close to so many wineries, including a great one next door, Coeur De Terre Vineyards. We definitely recommend staying and hope to be back again soon!
What a gem! The yurt is very private, thoughtfully stocked, and incredibly comfortable. The sauna is stunning with its view of the forest. This was a perfect quick getaway for a quiet weekend out of the city.
This is my third time staying here and once again it was such a lovely experience! The yurt, bathroom, and sauna are gorgeous and the host is superb. It’s a special secluded place in the trees!
Absolutely loved the view! We had a peaceful and quiet two-night stay. Having a private toilet right on our site was a huge plus. The outdoor hot shower and sauna are just down the hill—we especially loved the sauna! Keep in mind there’s a short 5-minute uphill walk to the site, so packing light is highly recommended.
This place was very romantic and so thoughtfully designed. The sauna and showers are divinity itself - very clean with easy to read instructions. The site had a million dollar view, and came with so many creature comforts - grill and burner (with gas), water, a cooler (with ice packs), and four chairs. The composting toilet bathroom was particularly impressive - so easy to understand and use with a beautiful stained glass door. The site got quite a bit of sun - for most of the year that's a good thing, but was a little hot in the height of summer. The shade next to the edges was wonderful and really made a difference.
The hike up the hill from the parking situation was more intense then we anticipated but entirely doable - just be mentally prepared for some exercise getting up!
All in all this is such a gorgeous place with truly thoughtful design.

An incredibly peaceful, private setting. The wood stove inside made it cozy, stargazing was amazing and the bathroom right outside the yurt was beautiful! Sitting in the sauna staring out into the woods on a rainy day was our favorite part ♥️
Carly and Kevin have thought through every detail. The yurt was perfectly stocked for everything we needed. The beds were comfortable for our family of four and we stayed quite warm despite chilly conditions outside. The hosts were generous and excellent communicators. The sauna is incredible! We hope to be back!

This is our second stay at Amico Roma and it did not disappoint!! The yurt is very central if you want to be able to travel out to the coast during the day, but also full of amenities so you really don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. Highlights included: listening to great horned owls call to each other, going to the Maysara winery, cooking to the sound of the rain hitting the canvas, and THEIR BRAND NEW SAUNA!!!! Amazing craftsmanship, and so relaxing!!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes!
We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!

Amico Farm Vista Cottage Tent
We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista Tent! Everything was impeccably clean, all you could possibly need was provided, and the bed was SO comfy! The view from the tent was beautiful, and it felt very secluded and private. The sauna was a great extra bonus and the property was large with woodsy trails to walk around too. We would definitely stay again!
We loved our time at Carly’s!! We loved it so much, we stayed an additional night. Every detail was thought of. Very well curated. It felt luxurious. And the sauna!!! Huge perk we went several times. Will definitely stay here again.
Two things to note: be physically capable of walking up a steep incline while carrying items to get to the TENT. The location and view are perfect and very private, but it’s a little workout to get up there for sure. Secondly there are many farm animals and dogs. The noise travels easily and it can be noisy late into the night. We still slept fine and loved our stay overall - but important to be aware of before you arrive.

Absolutely beautiful place to be! Our family loved staying in the yurt, sitting around the fire at night, and falling asleep seeing the stars through the clear window on top of the yurt.
Fantastic stay on an amazing property. The tent was stocked with everything we needed. Amazing comfortable bedding very homey very peaceful with incredible views. Perfect for a couples get away!
