Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites.
I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite).
Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided)
Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.)
- Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party.
Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests).

Located on the south shore of Loon Lake in Douglas County, Oregon, our private park offers camping and a scenic venue for weddings and events. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, a sandbar, miles of groomed walking trails, and kayak or paddleboard rentals for $20 per day. We also offer unique experiences such as hayrides, horse grooming, and goat walking.
Following our 2023 approval as a private day-use park, we are proud to share that we have been officially approved as a campground now in 2026. Every visit to our family- and pet-friendly park directly funds the development and programming for Grandma Betty’s.
Park Guidelines & Information:
- Registration: All guests and vehicles must register prior or upon arrival and sign a release waiver.
- Safety: Please keep the front gate closed for privacy. Due to our wetland environment, stay on groomed trails and exercise caution near the water.
- Lakefront Access: Vehicles are not permitted on the lakefront peninsula; please use the designated loading zone next to Lake Creek dock #1.

Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to the beach.
Each of our campsites are very rugged: not super flat and have jagged rock.
The roads getting to each campsite are STEEP, NARROW, and have very FEW TURNAROUND OPTIONS. We recommend ONLY EXPERT drivers with 4x4 rigs.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!

We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good.
We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent.
This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

You’ll park near our greenhouse and home, where you may see chickens, a kiddo on the play structure, or hear a tractor. Campsites are deeper in the woods and often feel totally private. A seasonal creek flows nearby. Depending on the time of year, you might spot wild mushrooms, huckleberries, and more.
The beach is about a 15-minute walk, including a short stretch along Highway 101. It’s walkable but may feel exposed to some. Yachats, the 804 Trail, and Cape Perpetua are all nearby.
This land once held a WWI-era spruce logging camp. We’ve lived here since 2013, slowly transforming bramble into trails, gardens, and space to grow. Our son is a cancer survivor, and our connection to this land runs deep. We’re not a commercial farm - we’re a family practicing stewardship, slow living, and welcoming guests who do the same.
We love hosting quiet campers, nature lovers, foragers, backwoods hikers, and families who understand personal space and come prepared. If that’s you, you’ll feel right at home.

At approximately 2600 ft elevation, a fresh gentle breeze significantly cools the late afternoon and evening summer temperatures. Most cell service carriers do get reception at this location, however, there is no WIFI. This can be a pull-through-and-around area. A long RV/trailer may need to make a y turn.

We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. There is a water hose available for filling up jugs on site. We are currently in the process of putting in an outhouse and showers, but currently we ask that you leave the site as you found it. Such a beautiful campsite, super secluded and can hear the ocean from the site. Also the 2 dogs that I believe live on the property were so sweet and hung out with us for a while. Definitely need to come back here soon!

Fantastic experience. The west pond was a little tough to identify at first, but the secluded space was worth it. Onsite staff was excellent in helping out. Highly recommended for an easy escape from the city.

Great riverside campsite with sufficient privacy. The climb back up the hill with a wagon full of gear is a killer workout, but the uphill is only a small fraction of the trek :-)

Absolutely loved the view! We had a peaceful and quiet two-night stay. Having a private toilet right on our site was a huge plus. The outdoor hot shower and sauna are just down the hill—we especially loved the sauna! Keep in mind there’s a short 5-minute uphill walk to the site, so packing light is highly recommended.
