SAFE and PRIVATE. This is a large, fenced in, manicured, grassy area with trees on the border. Not crowded, lots of space. Enjoy the privacy and tranquility, put up your feet and just relax. Visit neighboring attractions and come home to a place that restores and soothes your soul. Learn more about this land: Located 30 min to downtown Portland. 15 min to the Columbia River. Blue Lake Park.  60 min to Mt Hood. Hood River Windsurfing. Wine Country.  30 min to Multnomah Falls, Portland Zoo, Portland Rose Gardens. 15 min to the Columbia River Scenic Highway, Outlet Stores, and so much more. Our property is a beautiful oasis of quiet tranquility (very private) yet minutes from local attractions and services.MANY CAMPERS TELL US how much they love the secure private setting yet, how close we are to everything fun to see and do. What an amazing find. Dave was so accommodating in the space is great, especially if you have dogs. It’s basically his very big backyard completely fenced in. Convenient to Portland, convenient to mount Hood. Made some new friends with a couple who was camping there when we got there. Dave even filled my water tanks before I left.

Nice Stopover

Very nice stopover for the night. Very quiet and plenty of room to sit and relax after a long drive. Lots of shopping close by if needed and not too far from the freeway. Dave is very welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Even the squirrels were entertaining.

My boyfriend, me and our 3 dogs LOVED Dave& Ellen’s place! Dave was so nice and helpful even telling us about a beautiful hiking trail to take our dogs on. Would definitely stay again! Such a huge beautiful space! They are doing it right, thanks again! Cheers!

Just as advertised, a large fenced field near Portland. Host met us on arrival, allowed us to get some water from a tap at his house, which is adjacent. Felt very secure. Double gate allows access in or out at all hours.

Wonderful stay.

Dave and Ellen were very kind and extremely helpful. Ellen met me at the gate and helped me find their site. Dave communicated amazingly and helped me find where to throw away dog waste. It was a short trip but I would definitely go back again.

Really nice location, we needed to get to NE Portland one night and Edgefield the other, so perfect spot - and walking distance (long walk but all on pedestrian only trail near property) is historic downtown Gresham, very cool! Nice shade trees too.

Dave and Ellen’s was great! Large grass lawn with lots of room. Beautiful country setting, but in the middle of town. Some street noise from neighbors, but it was a holiday weekend and to be expected in the city. If you parked further away from the street it may not be an issue.

Beautiful Property and Kind Hosts

We’ve stayed here several times and always have a wonderful stay. The hosts are the friendliest people out there, and the property is always nicely maintained and quiet. We’ll be back for many more stays 😁

Beautiful, safe, awesome hosts!!

Our host was gracious, friendly, and very helpful. Made us feel very welcome! Very beautiful and safe property! Kid friendly, dog friendly and plenty of space for your dog to run around. I plan to visit again every time we are in the Portland area. It's a gated property and a very nice neighborhood. I repeat. Super safe! I had to go on an out-of-town trip and I needed to leave the motorhome there there while we looked at property. We were going to buy and I felt completely safe to leave it there unattended. Close to Portland. Close to everything you want to see... Lots of trails and close to many different sightseeing areas that you will love. Thanks for being awesome hosts! See you next time!

Friendly hosts & beautiful property
They were excellent host! Made us feel comfortable and we're so helpful. Gave perfect directions in met the gate. Their land is inviting, beautiful, safe for children and family, so very quiet, and affordable. During our 6-day stay. We had to go out of town to go look a property, We felt safe to leave our belongings and our RV there. Very safe place. There is plenty of room to spread out and have privacy at the same time even if they have other guests. They had one other guest while they were here for the first couple of days. It is right there in Gresham and close to Portland by minutes. Just can't say enough good things about the hosts and the wonderful stay we had! Thanks Dave! See you next time we are in the area.

Dave was an excellent camp host. He was very communicative and easy to work with. Although we didn’t spend much time at the camp, it was a quiet, peaceful location, and we would definitely stay there again.
