Discover the unique charm of Laughing Alpaca, a family-friendly campground that serves as the perfect basecamp for your Oregon adventures! Nestled along scenic Highway 199 between Grants Pass and Crescent City, our location offers easy access to a variety of natural wonders, from the enchanting Oregon Caves to delightful treehouse wine tastings. AMENITIES & SERVICES Laundry Cabin – There is a laundry cabin at the park for our guests' convenience. Geo Bath House – We have a clean geodome bathhouse for our guests to use. Full Hookups – Each RV site comes equipped with full hookups, including up to 30-amp electrical service. Clubhouse – Enjoy the clubhouse with potable water and electricity for campers. Parks & Games – We have two large grassy outdoor areas with fire pits and games. Wi-Fi + Cable – Fast, free Wi-Fi and cable TV are available for all guests. Billiards Room – Enjoy a game of pool in our billiards room. Riverfront – A calm river runs alongside our park. (Guests use the river at their own risk.) Ice – No need to go to town—we have ice for sale. Just a short drive away, you can explore the renowned Rogue River, the stunning Oregon Coast, and the majestic Siskiyou Mountains. Our campground is surrounded by rivers, streams, and expansive public forestland, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy activities such as hiking, backpacking, fishing, and hunting, or simply unwind by the river that flows alongside our park. Enjoy your slice of river-front paradise - stay awhile to enjoy the amenities and the shade! Our large shaded camping field is the ideal place to pitch a tent, a soft and level grass field among trees makes the perfect spot for your hammock. Enjoy the river, community fire-pit, and yoga deck! Please note that WIFI, power, and water are available in the communal club house which all tent campers have easy access to. If you are interested in hookups please book one of our Full Hookup Tent Sites!

Tent Camping - Shaded River-Front

Jeff and Renée are great host. They upkeep the campground immaculately and are flexible when more convenient sites were available. I enjoyed doing morning yoga on the yoga platform. Jeff is proactive in introducing local sites like $8 Mkuntain and River Pinic Site for a first time visitor like myself.

I wish we could have seen more in the daylight but it was a quick pull through to sleep. Very quiet, and well kept wit the amenities that we needed. The host was prompt and accommodating with any questions I had

You'll pass its exit before you reach the entrance, which isn't well marked. If you're tenting, you'll find the wayfinding signage confusing. Arrive before dark.
