Our family had the best time, even with all the rain this weekend! The cabin was perfect for our kids and grandson and the property was spacious enough for us to have our travel trailer. We explored, found beautiful rocks, and relaxed by the campfire. Would totally recommend!

Absolutely AWESOME campsite with every amenity you could think of. All the small touches really made the whole experience that much better- from dishes and cutlery, to firewood precut and chairs ready by the campfire, to board games and bernoculors, towels, grill, cleaning products, EVERYTHING you could ask for! Found many cool rocks too, and a small trail to the main river which took less than 5 minutes to walk to. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My only regret is staying just 1 night.

15 minute drive town to serenity
We spent our 12th anniversary in this lovely little cabin. It’s just what we needed! You can sit on the porch and see the water, hear all the birds. Short walk to small creek. It’s like being on your own island! Great water area for kiddos and adults. Tons of little fishes, rocks, and quiet. Short walk to Santiam river as well. We will be back!!

A beautiful, quiet nook under the trees. We enjoyed the thoughtful touches in the cabin, providing basic necessities for a peaceful stay. Our dogs and us enjoyed access to the water, and mornings around the camp fire. Thank you for sharing your spot with us. Will be back again!

Right next to the creek very private nice little cabin set up easy instructions to get there. Michelle very easy to communicate with very helpful . Me and my dog had a great time.

Group trip
The river was a little low mid July but it didn’t stop us from swimming! Found lots of salamanders, frogs, minnows, and cool rocks. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable for sleeping. The tent that sits over the toilet has a rip in the bottom so expect bugs. But other than that we had a great time :)

We have stayed at this spot several times with our trailer. There is plenty of room for our dogs to explore and having water access is a bonus. The scenery is peaceful and we enjoy our visits here!

Perfect get away
This is my second time staying here. When you need a quick little get away this is the place to go. I actually live in town but when life gets busy this is the perfect place. Definitely plan to stay again.

This is by far my favorite Hipcamp spot hands down. The host is kind and responsive and makes sure the cabin is set up for your success. You really only need to bring clothes and food. I always feel safe here and it is the perfect space to unplug and recharge. Thank you for hosting us and creating a beautiful space for Hipcampers!

Everything we needed!
The cabin was so comfortable and the hosts provide all the utensils, cooking equipment, water and blankets to make our stay easy. They even supply wood for the fit pit by the water. We would definitely love to come back sometime!

Such a great spot, when I read the other reviews saying you just need to pack food and clothes they weren’t kidding. Literally everything else is there (bedding, pillows, French press, blackstone, pots and pans, paper towel, dishes, cutting boards, silverware). I brought a jet boil for hot water to make coffee in the morning but otherwise didn’t need anything else I brought.
My dogs loved being able to roam free with us, my little dogs are impossible to camp with at regular campgrounds because they bark at everyone. They loved this spot!
The water was high and fast in April so I didn’t paddle board but I did put my toes in the water and look for cool rocks. Such an amazing spot.

Obsessed with this Hipcamp site! It’s the most peaceful getaway that is the perfect mix of camping and glamping. Michelle is a fantastic host and I always feel safe here even as a solo woman traveling with a dog.

The cabin and surrounding property was so wonderful. Close to town yet it felt like we were far far away. And it all to ourseleves!
So many thoughtful amenities such as towels, tea and a tea pot, cooking oil and spices. Books and board games.
It was clean and welcoming. The water felt great and was ready for us to spend all day down at the waters edge. Definitely will be back and would recommend this to anyone wanting a special getaway.

Great!
Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and came with everything we needed to make our stay cozy including coffee and tea. Our dog loved being able to be off leash so he could wander around. We had a great time splashing around in the pond and river and found a crawdad. The one thing I would maybe change is that I wish the cabin had blinds or curtains so we could have slept a little longer.

The cabin on Michelle's property was the perfect stay, close by to Silver Falls State Park.
Our dogs loved it, and we had a great time.
In late July, the creek was a little low and slow, but there was plenty of shade.
We really appreciated the water, and the Blackstone, and hope to make it back sometime soon.

Perfect!!
This place is amazing. Everything that we needed was provided. No need for bug spray, but they provided it anyway. We played in the water all day and say by the fire all night. Dogs loved being able to run free without bothering other people. Blackstone was great for meals. We didn't have kids with us, but the water is great for kids! We will definitely be back.
