Beautiful place & wonderful people!
My friend, her pup, and I stayed in Kim's "Pygmy Owl Cabin Tent" for two nights, and were more than satisfied with our weekend stay! This property is situated in a perfect spot! Although you feel way out on a field/farm- it is nestled right between amazing towns in the wine country of Oregon. We went wine tasting in McMinnville our first day, and spent the next day on Henry Hagg Lake!
The tent had a real queen bed with pillows, sheets, and a quilt, we did not need to use any of our own bedding etc. In addition the tent had a great big rug under the bed and included two comfy chairs. The tent was PLENTY big enough for two people and a big dog! No fires but we brought our own food, cooler, and supplies. We cooked two meals using our camping stove for one breakfast and one dinner without any problems! The picnic table was awesome!! The bathrooms are located a short walk away- there are two real, flushing bathrooms with a sink, toilet paper, soap, etc the whole deal! Outside the clean restrooms was another sink- perfect for washing our utensils and morning face washes etc.
Finally, Kim is the best host! She is friendly, kind, laid back, accommodating, and professional! We really enjoyed hanging out and seeing her around while we were there! She is an amazing artist & we enjoyed trying their fermented wines- YUM! We felt safe, comfortable, & happy. We were far away from others but enjoyed crossing paths with other guests! The BEST choice for our "glamping" weekend!
