Learn more about this land: Centrally located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range between Portland and Salem, "The Falls at Elk Prairie" is a small, private, "ADULT ONLY" (minimum of 21 years) outdoor recreation and camping retreat that provides the general public with access to forty acres of private property. This isolated and remote Outdoor Retreat will provide the quiet and peaceful outdoor recreation and camping experience you're looking for. Currently there are three outdoor recreation and camping permits available. Recreation Permits provides access to forty acres of private timberland property, camping at the waterfall, r/v parking and optional dispersed camping. The waterfall is 205 yards from the parking area. The last 80 yards is down a medium to easy grade hill. Direct access is also available to hundreds of acres of Port Blakely Tree Farm property. Ask about sportsmans discounts. The Molalla River Corridor, Table Rock Wilderness Area and Silver Falls State Park are all close by. We are currently NOT SELLING FIREWOOD at this time. Please REVIEW THE RULES TO MAKE SURE THEY CAN BE ADHERED TO. Dogs, anyone under the age of 21, more than 4 people per permit are NOT ALLOWED. We currently do not have firewood available here. Any firewood brought onto the property, must be PREPACKAGED, STORE BOUGHT FIREWOOD ONLY. This is to protect the property from invasive insects and disease. Elderberry Recreation Permit #1 allows access to forty Acres of private timberland, r/v parking and dispersed camping. To accommodate equal space for all permit holders at the waterfall, Elderberry permit #1 is assigned to the front area, which is the closest to the waterfall, just behind the shared "Community Space". The "Community Space" is shared by all permit holders. Everyone is encouraged to spend time in this area, closest to the waterfall. A primitive table and seats made from cut log rounds are at this area. Access to the waterfall is about a 215 yard walk from the end of the access road. The last 80 yards is down a medium grade hill. Please read the rules for the property. To make sure they can be adhered to. This is an adult only retreat. No Dogs, no one under 21 Years of age and no more than four people for each permit. Pallets and home cut firewood is NOT ALLOWED. Store bought, prepackaged firewood is only allowed onto the property. This is to protect the property from invasive Insects and disease.

Camping on Clint’s land was an amazing experience! Being that close to a waterfall was quite the adventure. I imagine in the summer the pool would be a fun time. The camp spots were very clean and comfortable. Clint does a great job caretaking the property. I do think we took too much gear down and getting it back up the hill to the car was a bit of a workout.🤣 I’ll be back in the fall!🍂🍄‍🟫 Thank you Clint for proving such a rare and special opportunity.

I loved camping at clint's land, ,but make sure to carry light equipment, we took alot of camping gear for lots of rain.so expect, to carry it all back up a steep small trail. About 1/8 mile.

Most beautiful camping spot we’ve ever been to! The beauty of the land made our weather worth enduring. Clint was kind and very helpful. The walk to the site was an excellent part to the scenery and what a cool bathroom 👍 Even with the other tents next-door it felt very homey and private. P.s. Clint, thank you for the hospitality and we will try the rhubarb recipe soon 🙌🌎

Absolutely zero complaints. We just camped here for 3 nights, myself and my friend. 2 young women. We were honestly very on edge being alone in the woods on someone’s property but Clint, an older gentleman owns this land and he kept us very safe and eased our nerves. The site is clean, BEAUTIFUL, and Clint goes above and beyond for his campers. We are rather inexperienced with actual camping, we didn’t have supplies we needed. Clint supplied us with wood, a lighter, a lantern, an extra sleeping bag, ect. Genuinely, zero complaints. Thank you for everything!!!!!

Thank you so much for having us! The land is well maintained and serene. Clint was very welcoming and kind! Great overnight stay for our Valentines day weekend even with the rain. Had the views and campsites all to ourselves and enjoyed the peace. We hope to come again very soon!

We absolutely loved at our stay on Clint's land by the waterfall! It feels like you're in a hidden little magical ravine. It felt clear to me that Clint treats the land with a lot of respect and reverence - please follow his guidelines to help in taking good care of this little oasis.

Wonderful and magical place to be. Pack light or bring a wagon. It's a hike and incline to go to and from the campsite. Well worth it thought! The water was cold but we jumped in anyway and had a blast. Stargazing is a must!

I actually did not stay there because the weather was forecasted to be near 100 degrees. But Clint was very communicative. Sad to say, but we forfeited to nights of camping fees but 100 is a bit hot for me. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it again.

This was one the most magical, beautiful places I have ever visited. Clint was extremely hospitable, and made sure we had everything we needed. My best friend and I had the most relaxing, healing night spent in nature. We couldn’t believe how gorgeous the waterfall was, our jaws dropped when we saw it. We felt so lucky to be able to explore the fall and swim in the natural pool of water. The water is pretty cold, but crystal clear. Clint also has a canoe tied up that you can take into the water if swimming isn’t your thing. Thank you thank you Clint! We will be seeing you again!

I’ve stayed here twice and both times were magical. It’s a very special, beautiful place and Clint is the best host! I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful place to reset away from the city. It’s car camping but gives the feel of backpacking with a little hike down to the sites. By far the best Hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at!

This is a truly magical place that should be cherished and respected by all! I am so thankful to have spent a night by the waterfall, deep in the woods. Being so immersed in nature, far from busy roads or people, is hard to find these days. What a beautiful campground. Everything was perfect. Water was cold but definitely didn’t stop us from swimming around like river fairies. Clint was a wonderful/helpful host. 10/10 will be back again!
