The campsites werevvery private and tucked deep into the property. There was a cluster of them with a great view and some trails surrounding it. I stayed at one tree hill #33 and it was perfect for me and my standard doodle. There was an open grass area in fron of us to play fetch, and plenty of shade on our campsite. I was able to get the the site with 2wd. The host was responsive enough, but didnt see them. There was an extremely clean porta potty, and also a kitchen sink right outside of it! There was firewood for sale, they also had eggs and herbs available. I would love to stay here again

This spot is truly a gem. Pictures don't do it justice - the expansive views, quiet evenings, loads of mini critters (butterflies, happy bees, even some lizards...??). We came here to escape any and all 4th of July firework noise for our puppers and even though Oakridge boasted a big celebration, we didn't hear any of it. Thank you, Jason, for curating such a wonderful experience. I'm very excited to plant my new sunflower, too.

Best camping experience in Westfir/Oakridge area. Remote, peaceful campsite perfect after a long days ride. Scenic views with elk and deer meandering in the meadow.

We really enjoyed our time on this beautiful and remote piece of land. Each campsite had access to potable water and a clean outhouse, which made things super convenient. The sites are fairly open and close together, so we could hear our neighbors’ conversations—but that actually turned into a positive, as we ended up meeting and making friends with them! The property itself is peaceful and scenic, perfect for getting away. We’d definitely stay here again.

It is so sad to see that the town will be not allowing people to camp here anymore. If it ever is available again, it is the absolute best! Highly recommend if you can get there before they have to stop using him camp.

The best place I've ever car camped, hands down. The view from #42 is second to none. Our host Jason left flowers and farm fresh eggs as a welcome. He also provides maps and listing to swimming spots and hiking trails. Just a 10 minute drive and we had the river to our selves. All the spots we walked through were pretty with toilets and hand washing stations, hammocks at each site and 400 acres of fields forests and mountains. I don't want to say to much so I can always stay here and keep to ourselves but it must be experienced by all.

Amazing property. Very secluded, beautiful views, and campsites were private. We saw a lot of wildlife and our 3 year old loved the old school bus parked on the property. One of our favorite places we’ve camped!

This is a special, special spot. Open meadows, mountains in close proximity and soo peaceful. The climb up the access road definitely favors smaller RVs and vans but that same climb is what offers the views up top.
Jason just opened for the season and with the addition of a new tractor he put to use, sites were freshly leveled and groomed.
Book it and you will be happy~

We stayed at site #42 (the sum of the universe). Wow what a cool location, you’re right across from Alpine mtn. You also have a great view of Paterson mtn, home of Lawer, Hardesty, & Eula trail. We purchased fresh eggs and heirloom salsa from Jason, that was awesome. It is a bit of a trek to go up and down the mtn road, but it’s worth it.

One of the best Hipcamps we’ve ever stayed at! Had a family emergency and had to reschedule last-minute, and they were very kind and accommodating. The sites are well taken care of and the considerations for campers (motion sensing light in the extremely clean port-a-potty!) showed that the hosts really care about the experience. We got there after dark, but our sunrise coffee views were 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Loved it so much we went back! It is a beautiful and peaceful place. Plan to make it a regular stop for recharging our soul batteries. We made it up the dirt road to the top with our 22’ Airstream and did not need to use our offroad mode. Well worth the trip.

The place was empty and I cannot understand why? Perhaps I should write a bad review to keep it to myself but I can’t. It is a quiet, blissful place. I stayed at #33 but when I saw the view from #42, I was tempted to try & get my little Airstream down there. Make sure you get the extras! Farm fresh eggs, homemade salsa and a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers. I loved it so much that I canceled a trip south to Crater Lake to go back this weekend!

Such a great experience here, it was a last minute booking for me and they accommodate me so kindly. This is a great spot if you are looking into be in wilderness, great views, nature connection and peace. I had very transformative time there and they have an amazing land.

Jason was an absolutely wonderful host! This is a major area for mountain biking and there was no shortage of trails and jumps at this site for you to explore and its perfect for solo and group camping alike. With stunning views at some of the larger sites, all the amenities you need (shower coming soon!) and lots of wildlife viewing - I can really see so many events here, group camping for adventure enthusiasts, boy scout troops, and weddings! I'm really looking forward to returning in the spring to see all the greenery, head to the watering hole down the road, and do some elk watching - I think they were scarce during my stay because of the nearby controlled fires, but I loved the reminder signs to be on the lookout for turkeys, elk and bears! Not only a wonderful reminder, but adorable as well! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

It's a lovely, remote, tranquil site! We lucked out that we were the only one camping in the whole camp ground that day (it was a Thursday night in the midst of a heat wave), so it turned out to be even better than expected. There were 2 miles off road driving to the site that has great views, however we were a bit worried about our Tesla tires -- turned out to be fine! We missed the sunset though, but the stars at night were remarkable. Potable water was convenient -- every site has its own faucet. Toilet was super clean. Beware that your cellphone will start losing signal half an hour-ish before you reach the site, and might remain off-grid the whole time. That was my (Google Fi) case. The other cellphone (AT&T) had weak signals here and there.

Such a beautiful and thoughtfully maintained campsite with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. My partner and I tent camped at site #42 on “the point,” which felt like our own little island amid the mountains. Very private and secluded, but in close proximity to some hiking trails and an exceptionally clean port-a-potty/hand washing station. Many kind and thoughtful touches—hammocks and swings at each site, delicious fresh kale and homemade salsa waiting for us in a cooler when we arrived. My partner and I loved gazing at the view, falling asleep under the stars in the hammock, waking up to the sound of roosters crowing, and going for a morning jog around the farm. Directions were detailed and easy to follow, and there is lots of helpful signage throughout the property. Overall a lovely and peaceful camping experience :)
