Tucked away on 70 private acres in the mountains of Southern Oregon's beautiful Illinois Valley, Whisper Canyon Ranch feels like a hidden world of towering forests, sunny meadows, winding trails, and star-filled skies. We're just four miles from the little town of Selma—close enough for convenience, yet surrounded by public lands and the quiet beauty of the wilderness. Perfectly situated for exploring Southern Oregon, we're just minutes from Lake Selmac, the Illinois River, and countless hiking opportunities, with the Oregon Caves about 45 minutes away and the Redwoods just an hour's drive. Whisper Canyon Ranch is first and foremost a weekend wedding and event venue, which means every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed for beauty, comfort, and gathering. During the week and on select weekends outside of private events, we open our gates to travelers looking for something a little more memorable than an ordinary campground. Whether you're pitching your own tent, arriving in a camper van, staying in one of our cozy cabins, or settling into a fully furnished bell tent at Glamp Camp, you'll become part of our little forest village for a while. For groups looking to gather, we also offer private bookings for retreats, workshops, reunions, celebrations, and other meaningful events. With beautiful gathering spaces, overnight accommodations, and room to spread out, Whisper Canyon Ranch is an unforgettable place to bring people together. 🌿 The Experience Slow mornings with a cup of coffee. Go camping without the work, but all of the comfort at Whisper Canyon Ranch. You'll enjoy a queen sized bed, crisp cotton sheets, cozy bedding and towels for our outdoor showers. Your tent has rugs, a small foldout couch, a lantern, fan and games. Outside you’ll have a picnic table and solar lights. Glamp Camp is a private camping area at Whisper Canyon Ranch with three, 16 ft furnished bell tents. They share a communal propane fire pit (usable when fire regulations allow), a communal camp kitchen in a screened in tent with dishes, silverware, camp stove, double sink with hot water, drinking water and a coffee percolator. Whisper Canyon Ranch is an old horse ranch that has been lovingly restored into a whimsical guest ranch where we rent cabins, host campers and glampers and we also host weddings, retreats, reunions and celebrations. Our private, gated, 70-acre guest ranch has numerous camping areas, private cabins and we also host weddings on the weekends! Because we host weddings, on Saturday nights we usually have amplified music until at least 10pm, sometimes midnight. Camping is made easy in our 16 ft Luna Bell Tent located at Glamp Camp at Whisper Canyon Ranch. You'll enjoy a king sized bed with memory foam, crisp cotton sheets and cozy bedding. Your tent has rugs and a small couch, nightstands and a lantern. We provide bath towels for your use at our outdoor showers. Our private, gated, 70-acre guest ranch has numerous camping areas, private cabins as well as access to shared amenities and community spaces! We are also a wedding venue on the weekends! Because we host weddings Saturday nights we usually have amplified music until at least 10pm, sometimes midnight. This just means that you should join us for movies at Mermaid Cove after dark! The Luna Belle Tent is located at Glamp Camp, which is an area with other glamping tents that share a fire pit (depending on the current fire hazard) and a simple camp kitchen. Sharing the community spaces and amenities are Hipcampers from other listings, cabin rental guests, andguests from weddings, reunions, and other events! Shared Amenities: 🌼 The Mercantile - Your on-site general store for coffee, snacks, ice cream, essentials, and gifts. 🧜‍♀️ Mermaid Cove - A dreamy pool area open to all overnight guests 11am–8pm daily, with outdoor movies after dark. 🕊 The Bird’s Nest - Yoga, breathwork, and wellness classes throughout the week + bookable for private events, ceremonies, circles, etc. 🌾 Gardens & Meadows & Trails - Wander through our gardens, wide open meadows, and forest trails. There’s magic tucked into every corner! 🚿 Outdoor Showers - Two private open-air cedar showers 💻 Cosmic Café - Co-working + game room when not booked for events (usually Mon–Thu in summer). Includes billiards, ping pong, TV, WiFi, cozy couches, and outdoor patios. 🥏 Putt-Putt Disc Golf - A fun little course tucked in the trees 🚻 Porta Potty – Clean and maintained regularly for guest use 🔥 Community Vibes - Event spaces, shared hangout spots, activities and a culture that encourages connection (but always honors privacy!). -Please send us an ETA for when you'll arrive so we can send you the gate code and check in details! -Pets on leash only! - we have 2 dogs that free range the property (Daisy & Dolly) -Good Vibes Only!!

This was a last minute roadtrip reroute decision for my mom and I and it couldn’t have been a better one! There are so many amenities that they offer here and the land is just gorgeous. I had the most peaceful night and Beth is the best host! We were checked in super smoothly and let known about everything they offer which is a lot! And we got to use their beautiful outdoor showers and relax and just take in the nature. I will definitely be coming back!

A truly magical place. I found this place, well my wife found this place for me, at the end of a two week trip. I would call that trip a vision quest of sorts. I was doing a lot of soul searching, only good things, and this was the last place I stayed for 3 nights. Beth and the whole team on site have created a sanctuary for all sorts of events. There is so much to do or as I did, do a lot of nothing. It was just my dog and I and our van and we were very blessed to be on their land and have the perfect closure to my journey. I was always meant to come here. We will be coming back soon and often.

Magical Wedding Weekend 💗

An absolute gem is the only way to describe this ranch! We arrived Thursday, for a Saturday wedding I was in. We were promptly greeted by Bryn outside the mercantile. We checked in and drove up to glamp camp and unloaded. The bell tent was incredibly clean and well furnished. The decor was colorful yet tasteful. I haven't slept that good in my own bed in YEARS! There is so much to explore, so many hidden treasures throughout the property. Beth and Brian have obviously put their hearts and souls into every single detail. The wedding was perfect and beautiful! We will definitely be back, many many times!

Creekside Campground at WCR
This was an excellent spot to stay. I stayed in their open camping area as I have a truck-top tent rig. The area was a flat, well taken care of, grassy area surrounded by oak trees. There’s a seasonal creek that runs through the area that is dry at this time of year. Amenities like hot showers were much appreciated. The camp hosts were fantastic and I enjoyed making conversation with Brian as he showed me around the area and detailed all the plans that they have going forward. They have really invested in making the place nice for people who want to stay there

We had a great time! We stayed in a glamping tent for a night and the bed was super comfortable. There’s a mercantile shop that has fun trinkets and snacks. The property is completely mapped out and there are signs so it’s super easy to explore. We will be back!

This is the best hip camp I’ve ever stayed at. Beth was so incredibly kind to us and got us set up in the CUTEST cabin with the most beautiful decor and might I add the comfiest bed!! I look forward to staying here again if I’m ever back in the area!!

A perfect van camping spot! Secluded, forested, and super quiet with just enough amenities. The hosts were friendly and greeted us but at Sensei’s Roost it feels like you’re miles from anyone. We loved the outdoor showers, super clean portapotty (with handwashing station!) and the beautiful grounds.

We camped on Sensei's roost. It was lovely, quiet and spacious. Good access to water, and charging of lithium battery. But the standout activities were swimming in the pool, playing pool in the Cosmic Cafe, and having great outdoor showers during a very hot 4 days. The hosts were available, but respected our privacy. Highly recommend this relaxing place.

The Fox Den Glampsite at WCR
First off, the pictures do not do this property justice. Everything about the land was simply beautiful. Plenty of space to roam around and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, but also enough to feel like you're at a premium campsite. Beth's cafe is a super gem for those who need to get work done while away; also had plenty to be able to cook a full course meal within the cafe in my opinion like pots and pans and whatnot. In addition, there is a little store on the property where you check-in that has small little snacks and souvenir-like items. Overall, would def recommend checking anyone of the sites on this property.

This property is absolutely magical. The land is beautiful and well cared for. There were so many nice touches, like the fairy lights that made Sensei’s roost so peaceful at night. I had everything I needed and then some. Cannot get over the incredible outdoor shower set up, complete with windows you can swing open to look into the forest while you clean up. Having access to the clubhouse with the pool table, tv, WiFi and pin pong was great to have, too. The owners were welcoming and exceptionally kind, you can tell their heart is really in this place. Oh, and a swimming pool?! Can’t go wrong here. Will absolutely stay again and go wander in the woods, what a reprieve. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect spot - I was looking for a place to camp with my livestock to help break up a long drive. I was able to stake out my llamas and have a very quiet, safe, and private place to sleep. Safety is importantly as a woman traveling alone. Beth, the host, is upbeat, gracious and a delightful person. She very patiently communicate to help me find the site and greeted me warmly despite my late arrival. The Ranch has a western and rustic feel, with tastefully updated cabin and bunkhouse nearby. I had a blissful and quiet night’s rest; the only sounds were owls and the rustling of deer walking through the woods. I’ll be back! Thank you!
