Great Spot for a Quick Rest
Haley and Lance took such great care of us! We booked on short notice and their property is in such a beautiful area. There were great views of the night sky from the campsite on the back of their property. Their dogs are kind, their neighbors are quiet, and it was such a lovely experience overall!!

This was a great place to stop on our way from
Crater lake to Bend. We had a wonderful time
camping and enjoying a campfire. Haley and Lance were great hosts and thoughtfully provided everything that we needed. Great communication. This was our first hipcamp and will definitely use it again!

Haley and her husband Lance are incredibly friendly and generous. This place was quiet, peaceful, and had just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. We had access to a bathroom and hot showers. Lance was quick to make sure we settled in comfortably and Haley directed us to a yummy breakfast plane in Bend, the Sparrow Cafe. Be sure to love on their sweet dogs, my fave was Wrangell.

Great Spot for a Quick Rest
Quiet little spot to stop. We were camped out for Crater Lake and a concert in Bend. Perfect distance to experiencing both in a weekend.
The owners were friendly and helpful. Would book again if passing through

Haley came through for us when we needed a last minute campsite and was very welcoming and accommodating of us and our dog. The indoor bathroom was a nice luxury and the land behind their house was spacious.

Camp spot had everything we needed; secure place to store our bikes/gear, privacy, clean bathroom/shower, water, power. Owner was also very nice and had cute dogs. Much better option than trying to camp down a remote service road, dealing with overcrowded campgrounds, or paying the outrageous prices for lodging in Bend. Definitely recommend this spot.

This was a lovely spot to stop for a night on our way north.
Haley and Lance were amazing hosts, given the site was advertised as bare bones. Lance went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of as if we were friends from out of town. My son even had the fun of playing with the kids, which was a welcome bit of socialization after two days together in the car.
I recommend bringing a couple extra tarps if staying in the summer, dust is a real thing in the desert!

Great spot near town to stay the night, the hosts are lovely and welcoming. They offered additional amenities and have a clean port-a-potty for use. Would recommend!

Exactly how advertised--a great spot for a quick rest! Had more than enough flat space to pitch my tent (and there'd be plenty of space if you had an RV or trailer) and the portapotty was clean. Beautiful area and nice spot if you're needing something quick.

We had a great time staying here! As road trippers during the busy July 4th week, just about everything else was booked. We found a spot with Haley just needing a quick camp to pitch a tent for the evening. Haley was very accommodating when we came in for late check in and the property is easy to find (even in the dark). We didn't have an RV like the site is meant for but there were plenty of places to pitch a tent. Portapotty on site was clean and we didn't need water but I think that's available. You are surrounded by a few homes close by but it still feels private and was very quiet (worked great for an overnight stay). We would absolutely stop again if we ever come out this way again!

Riverside Relaxation
Haley was an absolute gem. The camping site is just about on the river, incredible! My sister and I took swims morning and night. We felt sizably welcome and free to be ourselves as we came and went for hiking within the area. The location is superb for all the three sister trailheads. If you are looking for complete privacy this isn’t ideal, as it’s located in a residential area and the camping site is quite close to the hosts home as well as neighboring homes. Additionally, given the residential atmosphere, you use the bathroom inside of the hosts home within a timeframe. This was the only difficult aspect for me, however, Emily is very accommodating and surely will work with your needs. Great people, safe, and beautiful location!

From the moment we arrived, Haley, her husband, little ones and furry family members were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The property is right on the river - which allowed us to fish, rest on the dock at sunset, and float the Deschutes River for hours with no drive in between. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and private - and the nature sounds as you wake up in the morning are so peaceful. We found friendship in this stay which was just the icing on the cake - we can't wait to return. Oh and the margaritas were a solid perk too! Thank you Haley for having us - until we meet again!

This campsite is right by the river. We had plenty of space, there is a fire pit, a boat dock and hammocks to relax in the shade, also a hot tub (extra charge). Haley and Lance are very friendly and helpful with suggestions what to do and info about the area. There is a clean bathroom, accessible through the back door. There is plenty to explore, but just hanging out on the property was so relaxing. The river is great for a refreshing swim in the morning and we floated parts of it, which was super fun. Our teenagers and dogs loved the place, too. Highly recommend staying here!

I loved staying at Haley’s place and highly recommend it! We camped in one of the sites with our two young children, and our good friends camped in the other with their three young kids. The kids were in heaven with all of the room to run around and play, a little dock and a section of shallow river to play in, lots of toys available, and the hot tub. The kids had an absolute blast! The adults all loved it too! Sitting out by the water at night was wonderful, especially when sipping Haley’s delicious margaritas. Best of all, Haley’s place is in a great location for exploring the area. It’s within 30 minutes of so much!
Haley and her family were very kind and welcoming. Excellent hosts!

This was our first time using hip camp, and we were pleasantly surprised by the ease of slipping into a beautiful spot in a neighborhood right when we needed a place. it is very kid friendly and right on the river. The hosts, Haley and Lance were immediate friends that I would invite to my own house just to hang out. I highly recommend.
