Had a great stay! There was a nice clean composting toilet, outdoor shower, cooking area, and propane fire pit to keep warm. The stars were stunning at night, and it was close enough to Bend and the other things we wanted to do. Would absolutely recommend.

Beautiful campsite with beautiful views! The site was very clean and well stocked with what we needed. Happily surprised to see such a clean bathroom as well. Excellent for star gazing.

Wonderful starry night experience!
Great tent site, with amazing view of starry night sky and beautiful view of the mountains at sun set and rise. Convenience of gas fire pit and clean, easy to use composting toilet were a definant bonus. We were there in early April and not familiar with the area and appreciated the hosts directions and good response time to questions to communications!

The group site was so enjoyable! I would absolutely camp here again. The views were amazing, we spent hours staring up at the sky, from the bright clouds to the sunsets to the constellations. Overall the location was very peaceful. Due to how flat and quiet the land is, sound travels pretty far, so at night some noise (the occasional bout of dog barking, as well as one heated argument) was picked up from nearby neighbors, but there was enough space that we weren't too bothered and felt we still had privacy. If you are considering the group site I would absolutely recommend it, as the outdoor shower and kitchen added much to our experience!

Such a great campsite! The and outdoor shower and kitchen made our experience so great! We loves seeing the little lizards running around but make sure to keep food and supplies tucked away since there were understandably mice in the area! Such a beautiful spot

Lovely serene camp!
The drive out to this camp spot is a little rough terrain but once you get to the spots they are well spread out and you get the peace of being in the middle of nowhere! It was so serene and quiet. The smoke made for some commitment issues on our end and when I asked Gretchen and Larry about the AQI in the area and other questions they responded very quickly and with great information for us to make the decision to enjoy this site. And I am so glad we did. The propane fire pit was a great touch with the burn bans being able to enjoy a fire at night. And the sunset/sunrise is beautiful from this location. Highly recommend! Do not be deterred by the rough drive in! :)
