Sit on the deck overlooking the river, or bring your own hammock and relax amongst the trees! Catch a glimpse of Mt. Bachelor across the river and through the trees! Check-in on arrival day is 2:30pm; Check-out on departure day is 12pm. No fires or dumping/burying waste of any kind allowed. Leave no trace - pack everything out with you. Two nearby disposal options include: LaPine Transfer Station, [xxxxxxxx] (Closer, 54580 US-97, La Pine, OR 97739), and Knott Landfill (Bend), [xxxxxxxx] (61050 SE 27th St, Bend, OR 97702). Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash or confined in a pen. The neighbors at the adjacent fenced property to the east have a couple of very friendly but curious dogs that like to be introduced to any newly arriving animals! When you request a booking, please tell me what kind of RV you'll be bringing, and confirm whether it is fully self-contained (with toilet and holding tanks). Also, you must park your RV and any other vehicles on the graveled surface to prevent damage to the underlying water system. Quiet generators may be used between 8am-8pm. Summers & holiday weekends require a 4-night minimum stay. All other times require a 3-night minimum. PLEASE NOTE: Use the property's elevated deck (maximum weight capacity: 350 lbs.) and gravel path to the river's edge at your own risk and with the utmost caution! Owner accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained on the property. Area attractions include the Deschutes River, Mt. Bachelor, Paulina Plunge, Benham Falls, Fall River Trail, Lava Butte, Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory, Spring River, Sparks Lake, Elk Lake, Smith Rock, and the Sisters Rodeo, to name a few. There is a boat launch about 1/4 mile away on Snow Goose Drive, and scenic bike trails in Caldera Springs (about 3.5 miles away), as well as in Sunriver (about 5 miles away). Local restaurants include Village Bar and Grill, Josie K's Deli and Kitchen, Marcello's, Cafe Sintra, and Blondie's Pizza. No sewage hookup

Absolutely no dumping of any kind is allowed.

No TV hookup

Generators not allowed

Absolutely NO dusk-to-dawn generator use, due to close proximity of neighbors.

On leash. Please keep your pets on leash, or within an enclosed portable pen. Please be sure to pick up and pack out all pet, human, and other waste/garbage. P.S. Our neighbors on the east side of the property have two large friendly dogs that will come up to (but never past) the fence... If you have dogs, they would be happy to meet them to satisfy their natural curiosity!

There is a nearby garbage station at: LaPine Transfer Station (541-408-7589) 54580 US-97, La Pine, OR 97739; and another landfill in Bend at: Knott Landfill (541-317-3163) 61050 SE 27th St, Bend, OR 97702.

We had stayed on Leslie's land about 3 years ago and enjoyed ourselves--this trip was even better as she has built a lovely screened gazebo with a large lounging couch overlooking the river. Spent a lot of time there reading and relaxing, it was lovely! Highly recommend this scenic and quiet site for a getaway.

Leslie’s property is a beautiful park like river front spot. We were able to get in the river and float to Harper Bridge. We were close to Sunriver and within driving distance to some great restaurants. We look forward to returning again.

Leslie’s place was very convenient for our 22’ Airstream. We loved the view on the deck overlooking the river with our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Leslie was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Deschutes Riverfront setting in OWW

The hipcamp property was very nice and I'd like to visit again. The property has 120 VAC 15 amp hookup and water. The property has a wonderful covered longe area near the river walk plus a separate covered dining area. The walk down to the river is a few switch backs but it's easily traversed. We floated to the property (3 hours) after dropping in at first drop-in point. The neighbors were quiet and we tried to be quiet as well. The deer were friendly and added some additional fun to our stay. Remember to "pack out" all trash. Great place and we dumped at Goody's south of Sunriver.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at Leslie's property. As others have indicated, this is a property in a residential neighborhood so you do have neighbors on both sides, however, it is quiet and has a beautiful river view. The site has a deck with recliners & a table as well as a covered area with table/benches for eating. We took our canoe down the path to the river and floated for several hours--it was amazing! We lucked out and met Leslie as she was having some work done on the house on the property while we were there. We would definitely go again!

Fantastic location and great little amenities in the two decks and covered picnic area. I was passing through with my tent set up, so didn't take full advantage of what would be a great RV location. But watching the sun go down from the tree deck with a beer, good converstaion and view of the river below was a highlight. There's a little country store a mile away for ice, snacks and a small undiscovered trove of Choco Tacos. (RIP!) Within 30 minutes of major hiking trails and sights. I was perfectly positioned for my 3 days of activities in the area.

The location is convenient, the decks and views are lovely and comfortable. Again, a million dollar view. Deer ran through and we saw a river otter. But what we were not expecting is that this is right next door to the backyards of other houses, with kids and play structures and other houses. The photos did not depict this. As long as you are aware, this is a lovely spot. We thought we were going to be riverfront in the middle of nowhere.

We loved camping on the deschutes river with great access for kayaks and SUPs. There were neighbors on all sides but the site still felt private and my family really enjoyed relaxing on land and floating in the river.

We loved our stay on Leslie's land. It was serene. The deck and view of the river were gorgeous. The location was a convenient distance to/from Sunriver and we loved waking up to birds, chipmunks and deer.
