Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months (Mid April through Labor Day Weekend - please message us for exact dates if you need it and are booking outside this window). There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated and fenced parking area that will accommodate up to 3 vehicles + 3 trailers OR 6 vehicles without trailers. There are trees between the road and parking/trailer area. There is a port-a-potty for use that is serviced bi-weekly on Wednesdays. There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. There is a grassy ledge overlooking the river that is perfect for tent campers. The deck holds a picnic table and overlooks the river (the deck and steps to it can be slick when wet, so please watch your step and use caution on it). There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. *There is no cell service at the property*

This is a primitive campsite. It is NOT a perfectly manicured lawn or yard. We do our best to keep shrubs and grasses down in the spring/summer months. You will encounter sticks, bushes, and grasses. “Site 1": Park your trailer on the driveway (hard-packed grasses) and pitch any extra tents in the trees for a relaxing stay. Down the path from the driveway you’ll find a small fire pit nestled under a big tree looking out over the river. There is room for 1 small tent down near the fire pit. There are also areas under the trees up top near the path that are suitable for tents. Please Note: this is an RV spot - you MUST have your own, contained toilet. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! All RV types are welcome as long as they’re under the 35ft maximum. Length restriction is due to the turn to enter the property from the road. The driveway is long enough to accommodate up to 1 truck + trailer OR 3 individual vehicles without trailers. The camping area accommodates slideouts. The parking area is packed grass and may require leveling blocks depending on trailer size and placement. Parking for cars and RVs is on packed grass but is surrounded by nature. There may be some stickers in the grasses and there are blackberry bushes on the property. Generators allowed: Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am No electrical, water, or sewage hookup Campfires allowed in designated fire pit unless burn ban is in effect Friendly dogs are welcome. Please clean up after your pet(s). Dog(s) must be under owner’s control at all times. No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets No potable water; campers must bring their own drinking water ***There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go.***

This campsite is awkward to use. The large gravel flat fenced space is gated and on the highway on a curve where it is hard to anticipate traffic. Getting down to the river level is very steep and graveled. So if you camped down there you would have to carry your tent gear. It's advertised that a portapotty is on the premises and there was no sign of one. The steps to access the camp table were uneven and loose. The wire deck fencing was loose. We did not stay. The host was very responsive and friendly.

Our group had a great stay overall. The lower level for tents is great and really filters the road noise. The river was perfect for swimming and rock hunting. There were a few steeper areas with the loose gravel that led to some scrapes and bruises. Despite that we would definitely camp here again.

This is a gorgeous camping site! I loved that it was covered in shade nearly the whole day, as well as the beautiful view of the river! The amenities made camping here such a pleasant experience. I can’t recommend this site enough!

A spectacular site, well kept, fun for kids and adults and friendly dogs. We had the riverbank all to ourselves on this private piece of waterfront property. The host was very quick to address our requests. Will be back again.

This was the most amazing campsite I’ve ever stayed at. It was completely isolated and just a magic experience. No serve and miles from anything, it was perfect

The river is incredibly beautiful and the site is a short walk from it. There are level places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. There is a pull-through so you can set your trailer up o that the door faces the river. One side is steep but manageable in a truck/suv and pulling the trailer slowly until on the road. The site is close to the road but there wasn’t too much traffic. If you have a dog I would recommend having a fence or a long lead because people tend to drive fast on the back roads. The only thing that was frustrating, though no fault of the owner, is that a random family decided they wanted to fish on the land for almost an entire day, which disturbed our peace and ability to go to the river. Overall, it was a good experience and I would visit again.

Great easy access riverside campsite only an hour from home. Kids loved the fishing and swimming and we loved that the property was gated and private! We had three 7 yo and 2 18 mo, the seven year olds did great wondering around camp and we brought a pack n play for the younger ones.

It was wonderful camping on Jen’s land. It was peaceful, waking to the sounds of the rushing river, seeing the variety of wildlife, and enjoying an afternoon on the tire swing. You’ll want for nothing in this wonderful place. We will definitely be back!

This is such a beautiful place! If you don't mind the occasional sounds of the highway, it's just perfect. Lots of flat area for tents, a great picnic table platform that overlooks the rest of the site, and a huge private river access spot. All of us tripped a couple times climbing up and down to the table/river area so keep an eye on little kiddos. We are absolutely planning another family camping trip here... We fell in love with it!

Wow, this site and the surrounding land was absolutely AMAZING. the Umpqua river was stunning and so lovely to hang out in all day. There are different little sitting pools along the river that are sheltered from the current in the middle of the river. The site itself was clean and provided ample and appreciated shade. We saw multiple bald eagles fly right in front of us along the river and the tree line above. The table up on the wooden deck made for a perfect dinner and communal spot. The porta potty was spotless as well. Fantastic site, and Jen was was helpful and very easy to communicate with. 10/10

The owners site is great!!! It is a narrow strip of even land that fits the tents and fire. The steps going down to the river are made for people with long legs. Lol. The view is great. The hidden swing is great. It would have been great to back the truck down the path to unload but that is not allowed. Great area for fishing. The current is too fast for the kids to swim here so we had to drive to another location. Overall we had a great time and would come back! Thank you for sharing your little bit of paradise with us.

This campsite was great! Clean, quiet, secluded. Great view of the river, very few bugs, cute area to set up a tents. The port-a-potty was surprisingly clean and the tree swing was a great plus for our kids. Wish the description had been more clear that while yes, the campsite itself is down a very steep hill that hardly any car can get down. Unfortunately the picnic table is at the top of this hill, so pretty inconvenient for any cooking you plan to do. The area down to the river is also not ideal for any swimming, fishing, launching kayaks, relaxing etc. it’s little more than a small patch of muddy sand that’s difficult to get to. Can’t put any chairs on it, nor is it stable enough to get comfy on for the day. It wasn’t a big deal though, there’s areas around this campsite to do most of these things. Just wish we had known. Overall, a very cute site and really enjoyed it. We would recommend this place to folks in the future, But not quite what we expected.

Very beautiful site. The only thing bad I have to say is the bathroom had spider webs and a wasp in it so my wife couldn’t use it.

Amazing site, super private and huge! Would come back again. Note that while we were there, logging trucks were active starting at 3-4am and it can be quite loud in the tent at the lower level.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTING! Born and raised small town Oregonian, and am shocked by the COMPLETE INACCURACIES in this. It is NOT a camping site. Let’s start with the misinformation: - There is NO level ground to pitch ANY tents. The spot is located on the side of a road and is completely downhill all the way to the river. As lifelong campers it took multiple hours to find a way for our tent to fit anywhere on the property with the least amount of sliding and it was still awful to try to sit, eat, or sleep. - THERE IS NO DRIVEWAY/PARKING AREA EXCEPT ON THE SMALL PULL OFF DIRECTLY ON THE ROAD. The “driveway” is not a driveway at all. It is a sticker/thorn/debris covered patch that we attempted to park on night one and it flattened our tire. - There are three LARGE piles of debris where they said a trailer would fit. The piles have all sorts of stuff in them including a bee infestation. By day 2 our campsite was swarming. ALL food stored and they were still so bad we got a hotel instead of staying another night. - There are fire ants all over. This one would’ve just been nice to know. We understand bugs are part of camping. But facilitating bee hotels in dumping piles you have on the small property as well as fire ant colonies is different. - IT IS NOT A CAMPING SPOT. It is a small pull off on the side of the road perfect for one person traveling through for a night. Overall, this ruined my BIRTHDAY and we’re thankful the local hotel gave us a discount to help us relax.

Overall had alot of fun with a beautiful veiw, the down side was the path down to the campsite was steep and rocky. It was about 1/4 of a mile from the topside to the campsite but the grade made it hard to get our things down and then up again.

This stretch of the Umpqua is truly special. We had a great time. Just chilling on the land, playing on the water and being at camp. The road is right next to where you park your trailer if you are not tent camping so something to be aware of, but that was clear in the reviews so it was what it was. This secluded and pristine land was special and we loved it.

It was a beautiful site to camp. The owner’s spot is in the lower area and the car can’t drive down so we had to walk back and forth with the camping equipments. It will be very useful if there’s a grill on the fire pit and a table by the tent site. We appreciated the fire woods provided. The river water is fast and strong so not really ideal for water activity.

The river was pretty, and we enjoyed swimming and hanging out by the water. Our dog had the time of his life. The tent camping spot was a cool place to relax and have a fire. But we had a teardrop trailer and couldn't get down to the second level with it, so we had to set up right by the road, which we weren't that excited about. It was fairly quiet, but there were trucks whizzing by from time to time, and that woke our 3 year old daughter a lot at night - I feel like maybe there should be photos of the view from the RV/trailer spot just to cover that for other people in the future.

This is a lovely spot by the river but definitely not suitable for an RV. It isn’t off the road; it’s just on the shoulder. If you go down the embankment there’s a lovely spot for a fire but not really anywhere that’s a good spot to tent camp without sliding down toward the river. We ended up not staying as it was not a spot we felt comfortable leaving our small Rv for two days. Though the road wasn’t busy, cars flew by. Definitely need to tell people about the proximity to the road as we were under the impression we would be on someone’s property off the drive. I did ask if it was suitable for a small rv and she said yes. But what we found was that it would need to be an off-road one with larger tires as it is not prepped or even roughly graded and overgrown with tall grass right by the road.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The directions provided were super straight forward and the property was even better. We all had a great time and thought that the spot was so lovely and well kept! Would totally recommend.
