This is a lovely camping site with very nice hosts. The camp cat is very curious and friendly and came up to say hi during our stay. It’s also a well laid out site and we enjoyed the site, even one our weather filled night, and we’d love to check it out in another season. :)

Sandy and Tim’s Hipcamp was an awesome getaway. Everything was well kept, good directions, really nice fire pits and the cleanest porta potty I’ve ever seen. Would certainly stay here again.

Sage Ridge is beautiful with well maintained sites and a great community area. Sandy and Tim are so friendly. I loved this spot and would definitely return. It is easy to get to, and offers some privacy.

Great camping spot! We showed up on a whim, booked a site, and had a nice night camping! The stars are mind blowing. The area is pretty sandy though, so be prepared for some cleanup afterwards.
There was also a verrrry friendly kitty that came to say hi (and tried to go home with us) which added some fun to the evening.

This site was easy to access from the highway. Maybe too easy since we could hear the cars and trucks from the highway, but it was not an overwhelming noise. Otherwise very clean, quiet, and just as the description said. There were only two other campers, I think, so no problems with the toilet capacity.

Sandy and Tim’s tipi was so fun and it’s beautifully made! Inside, it’s spacious enough to setup camp and still stand and easily move around. The fire pit was worth it on a cold night as it easily kept us cozy and warm all night. The community space is thoughtfully setup with many resources. The tuxedo cat (unsure their name but we called them “Noodle”) joined us at the community space, then followed us back to the tipi. We were happy to have their companionship, but heads up in case that’s not your preference because it did sneak its way through the main zipper of the tent. 10/10 would recommend.

Tipi on Coyote Hill
Our groups backpacking plans changed and this was a great last minute find close to town. It's a great spot and equipped with a lot of amenities to help make your stay more comfortable. Our group was already planning a trip back out for next year!

Great Hipcamp! The pictures show what you actually get! The camp was very clean and well maintained! There were tons of activities and amenities! Would be a great place to take the family camping! We had the whole campground to ourselves, it was very quiet and relaxing. We had our two dogs with us and it was very accommodating for them too! The campground cat even came for a few visits! You can tell that the hosts take a lot of pride in their campground and work hard to make it a safe place for all!

We had a great experience staying here while passing through on our road trip home. It was beautiful, quiet, and well maintained. We were welcomed by their cat who kept wanting to get in our van with us! It is just off the highway, but we felt very safe and the noise didn’t really bother us. Would stay here again!

Site is well-configured for privacy while also enabling community space. Not too far from Bend, but far enough to be quiet and have very clear night skies free from light pollution (excellent views of the Milky Way). Main gravel road is well-kept and portable toilet was set up with hand soap and water for hand washing.
The site kitties are cute and playful, but I would caution against letting them snuggle up too tightly. One of them got a bit excited and left scents (from glands) on our sleeping bags, and that forced us to abandon open air sleeping for tent camping.

Tipi on Coyote Hill
The tipi was very cool! It was super convenient being able to camp without having to setup too much. We just brought a pillow and sleeping bag. It was fairly easy to find and we were able to easily navigate there in our Tesla model 3 on the dirt/gravel roads. The area was well lit and the site was very clean. Bring camp chairs for the fire pit! Be aware that it does get pretty chilly overnight being in the desert so make sure you bring a warm enough sleeping bag. Overall it was a cool camping experience!

This place was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Stargazing was amazing on our first night. We were greeted by a kitty there that hung out with us for most of our stay she was great company to have. Communication with host was good. They have plenty of fire wood bundles for sale that came through for us you can pay cash or Venmo. Basically had the whole campground to ourselves.

Great facility with beautiful views and well-maintained sites and communal spots. The camp cat was a huge hit! The campsites are spread apart, so they feel private. The only drawback was the road noise from the nearby Highway 20. We would definitely camp here again!

Camp kitties were the cutest! Mama was the sweetest cat who cuddled up on our lap and hung out with us while we sat by the fire. Clean camp sites, clean bathroom and lovely hosts! The stars were beautiful :) only thing I’d mention is the camp sites are right off the highway and you can hear cars at night so if you’re a light sleeper this site might not be for you. It wasn’t too loud or anything but definitely noticeable! Other than that amazing sites! Perfect for a last minute stop to rest for the night. Sites were well maintained with a place to throw out trash at the general area where there is a place to hang out for everyone.

This place has a great vibe! You can tell that Sandy and Tim put a lot of thought and energy into the layout, being able to hang and do pull-ups on the pull-up bar in the morning was a nice treat.

We arrived at the site and were unable to stay due to the air quality and wildfire smoke-we had small children and it was just too smokey to camp. Sandy and Tim were able to give us a refund due to the extreme weather and being unable to stay. The Tipi looked amazing, and their whole camp set up was thoughtful. We hope to come back and stay in the future and do the tipi, minus the smoke.

Very nice first time to bend so my opinion may be a bit biased but this was absolutely a great last minute decision we already have plans to come back. The night sky was unmatched. A little noise from the road but honestly that just keeps me grounded. The kitties running around were the 2nd big surprise. Such nice kitties one even snuggled up with us in the night. I can’t wait for the next trip. Will definitely be a stop for us.

Very beautiful and peaceful campsite! We needed somewhere to camp near bend, this site is only 20 minutes away and has everything you need. There is also a cat that lives on the campsite who is very sweet and friendly, he was a great visitor

Our stay at the Ghost Tree site was wonderful. We found the site easily and very clean. Loved the communal area and utilized the workout equipment. Loved the proximity to Bend and would definitely stay here again.

Super bright stars and Milky Way totally visible. That is until wildfire smoke crept in from north of Sisters on second night. Nice view of Horse Ridge from campsite. Super quiet.No westward view from our spot and for the life of me I'm not sure why there is a very large metal shipping container on the site. I could see it as shelter in horrible conditions or storage if staying there awhile- although doesn't look easy to lock. Search me. Anyway nice spot 20 min out of the Bend bustle is super. Nice camp cat owned by host. It's a bit of a walk at night to single vault toilet but doable. We'd come back.
