Wake up to bird songs and wildflowers, fall asleep to the distant sound of waves hitting Kellogg Beach. Ossia Village Farm is a 5-acre collaborative homestead on a retired hydrangea farm. Enjoy the on-site U-Pick veggie and flower gardens, bike to the beach or the Smith river, drive 10 minutes to the Redwoods, schedule a lesson with our resident surf instructor. Amenities include flushing toilets, drinking water, electric hot water kettle, camp kitchen (bring your own stove and dishes), charcoal grill, tub and shower. Please contact host for access to washer and dryer.

Ossia Village Farm Camping Field

Amazing place! Favorite HipCamp of all time. Beautiful area. 6 minutes from the beach (driving). Blueberries, blackberries, golden raspberries, ghost strawberries, snap peas, ducks, cows, and amazing people. Hot water for a shower in greenhouse! Amazing experience. 10/10.

Everything you need for camping

Camping at Ossia Village Farm was a great experience. The field was flat with soft grass, the shower had plenty of hot water, the group kitchen structure also had hot and cold running water with plenty of electric outlets and a very handy electric water kettle. All in all we spent a relaxing night camping there and had everything we needed.

Highly to recommend

This place is a hidden gem: fields, flowers, bird songs, the sounds of cows and sheep, not far from the beach and from a redwood forest. Ideal for campers with kids- Dar, the caretaker, has the amazing talent to keep kids entertained, and happy while teaching them about fauna and flora. He seems to always be in good spirit.

Magical farm camping

The farm is such a lovely place to stay and Hanya and family were such warm welcoming hosts. There’s a nearby beach to watch the sunset and it’s a short drive to Redwood National Park.

Ossia Village Farm Camping Field

We had a lovely stay at the farm! The bathroom, green house shower, and outdoor kitchen area were all great amenities that you don’t get at regular camp grounds. All other campers were extremely quiet and respectful, I even fell asleep with others hanging out at the camp fire out side my tent. Farm is beautiful and a really cool experience. Even got to feed the animals! Good location for the beach and the northern redwoods. If I’m ever in the area again I’d stay here! The hosts are very easy to communicate with and gave lots of local recommendations as well.
