Welcome to Terwer RV Park, a family-owned campground tucked near the edge of Klamath Glen on California’s North Coast. The park has been welcoming guests for more than 40 years, and we’re honored to be part of its next chapter. Around here, we like to call it Klamath’s Best Kept Secret. Surrounded by redwoods, river access, and quiet coastal beauty, Terwer RV Park is a simple, old-fashioned place to camp. We are not a luxury resort, and that is part of the charm. You will find open space, scattered trees, RV sites, tent camping, fresh air, and a slower pace. The Klamath River is just over the levee, only a short walk from camp. It is a beautiful place to fish, swim, or sit by the water. The river is known for salmon and steelhead fishing, and a valid fishing license is required. During peak fishing season, especially in August and September, you may hear early morning activity from guests heading out to the river. We are located about 4 miles off Highway 101, close enough for easy access but far enough away to enjoy a quieter stay. Wildlife is common in the area, so please secure your food and trash at night. There is plenty to explore nearby, including Redwood National and State Parks, Trees of Mystery, Klamath River Jet Boat Tours, coastal viewpoints, hiking trails, biking routes, and quiet places to wander among the redwoods. A few things to know before you book: -Firewood is available on site. -Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier. Free Wi-Fi is available and reaches most of the campground. -Electric vehicle charging is $10 per charge and must be arranged ahead of time. 50 amp service is limited, and guests must provide their own adapters. -Well-behaved pets are welcome. -Kids and laughter are always welcome. -We offer dry camping, 30 amp sites, and 50 amp pull-through sites. -Late arrivals are okay. If you plan to arrive after 10:00 p.m., please text us before 9:00 p.m. so we can send you check-in instructions. Terwer RV Park is rustic, peaceful, and easygoing. We look forward to welcoming you.

Camping here was fantastic! Patti is such a great host and came over to use when we first got in and chatted us up and gave us some great recommendations on what to do in the redwoods. The site when we were they had lots of space and the bathrooms and showers were clean and it was nice having warm water to shower with. I would recommend to people looking for a tent spot by the redwoods.

Sarah’s land was an amazing place to camp. It felt very safe, with hot showers, friendly hosts, and even WiFi after hours of having no service. You get the best of both worlds—being surrounded by beautiful nature while still enjoying the comfort and security of her yard.

I got here and I turned around. I didn't even stop and even though I had already paid for it I didn't stay. It was quite out of the way and I passed a lot of hitchhikers, and the only other campers appeared to be living there.

We visited in late January and we essentially had the camp to ourselves. Patti was so welcoming and gave us the rundown right when we arrived. The showers were hot and clean, we got to pick our site, and the free Starlink WiFi was icing on the cake. We will definitely return again.

Really quiet and safe space!! Great for a night while traveling through the area. Saw a coyote but no skunks. Patti is great and extremely helpful. Highly recommend staying if you need a cozy spot to post up for the night! Thank you Patti!

Loved the spot! Wish there was a picnic table but other than that it was exactly what we needed! Restrooms were super clean and the hot water was nice! We camped in our car so it was a perfect location! Host was sweet!

I loved Patti’s site. Was lucky to have the place mostly to myself. Even booked a second night in late notice. Patti was accommodating and friendly. Directions were clear, bathrooms were clean. Showers were hot. Will stay again when I’m back in the area.

Great place - I went in the off season so was pretty empty. But right next to boat launch area. Warm showers and bathrooms short walk from area. Great place even for tent camping. Host was super helpful when I didn’t follow the directions well in the rain.

Accurately described by the host and easy to find. Accessible on public roads and pull onto a solid grass area. Electric hook up and water worked well. Also a serviceable picnic table. Bathrooms with showers had hot water, were clean and well maintained. Site was pretty quiet (just two visitors) and occasional dog barks from the residents. It worked well for four nights and I'd come back.

Patti is the best! So responsive, kind and welcoming. The space is beautiful too, with big trees and the river near by. It was about 20 to get to the Newton B scenic Road. Don’t miss it! Traveled with our dog and 21’ travel trailer. No issues with access. Do note there are skunks around at night; they keep mole and voles populations down and are a part of the community too- just be aware. Also saw a few curios big neighbor dogs when we walked our pup up along the service road by the park in the morning. No trouble though. Had a great experience and would certainly stay again if we return. Thanks again Patti 🙏

Patti was amazing! The campground was comfortable and beautiful, and well located to the redwoods. She gave us many helpful tips about where to hike, rock hounding, tucked away beaches, etc. Our car died and she helped us jump it. 10/10 host and camp, would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed RV camping on Patti's land. It was a full service pull through site. Super quiet and miles away from the Highway 101. If you enjoy quiet evenings, with very minimal cell or wifi connection then this is the place for you!

Really enjoyed our time camping at Patti's. She has a beautiful soul. The "locals" were wonderfully helpful and a joy to be around as well. The location is equidistant to the gem of the Redwoods amongst other attractions. If you have well behaved dogs that love swimming, the within walking distance Klamath River offers a shoreline for fetching, fishing or just enjoying the view. The nearby Yoruke Tribe store/gas station offers basics, but Crescent City is only a scenic 20 mile drive away. A great camping location!

It was a short, lovely stay. It was raining and very peaceful. We were able to get cleaned up in their showers and fill up our water. We were just passing through, but it would be fun to stay again and explore the beautiful area.

Great place to stay if you want to be in close driving distance to the redwoods! Wonderful camp ground with great amenities. There is definitely some wildlife at night but they are a wonderful part of the experience. Share the land with the critters! Patti is a cool gal and we would definitely stay again 😎

Nicest hip camp I've ever stayed at! There was lots of space for dispersed camping, sinks for washing dishes, WiFi, bathrooms (including hot showers), fire pits, and firewood for sale. Would stay here again if I was in the area!

Patti’s land was open with grass and some big trees. It is very close to the river. Nights were quiet and restful. Shower had plenty of hot water. Flush toilets. Electric and water sites are available. Patti is very nice and helpful and goes out of her way to make sure you’re comfortable. Although mostly fisherman, this is a great stop if you are visiting the Redwoods.
