Welcome to Terwer RV Park, a family-owned campground tucked near Klamath Glen on California’s beautiful North Coast. This little park has been welcoming campers for more than 40 years, and our family is honored to help carry it into its next chapter. My husband and I, along with our two young children, are working to keep the simple charm of Terwer alive while making thoughtful improvements along the way. Around here, we like to call it Klamath’s Best Kept Secret. Terwer RV Park is the kind of place that is getting harder to find. It is simple, peaceful, and full of old-fashioned campground charm. We are not a luxury resort, and we do not try to be. What makes this place special is the open space, the quiet mornings, the scattered trees, the fresh coastal air, and the slower pace that makes you want to sit outside just a little longer. The Klamath River is just over the levee, only a short walk from camp. It is a beautiful place to fish, swim, explore, or simply sit and enjoy the water. The river is known for salmon and steelhead fishing, and a valid fishing license is required. During peak fishing season, especially in August and September, you may hear early morning activity from guests heading out to the river. We are located about 4 miles off Highway 101, close enough to be convenient but far enough away to feel tucked away from the rush. Wildlife is common in the area, so please secure your food and trash at night. There is so much to explore nearby. Guests love visiting Redwood National and State Parks, Trees of Mystery, Klamath River Jet Boat Tours, coastal viewpoints, hiking trails, biking routes, and quiet places to wander among the redwoods. A few things to know before you book: * Firewood is available on site. * Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier. Free Wi-Fi is available and reaches most of the campground. * Electric vehicle charging is $20 per charge and must be arranged ahead of time. 50 amp service is limited, and guests must provide their own adapters. * Well-behaved pets are welcome. * Kids, laughter, bikes, campfires, and simple outdoor fun are always welcome. * We offer dry camping, 30 amp sites, and 50 amp pull-through sites. * Late arrivals are okay. If you plan to arrive after 10:00 p.m., please text us before 9:00 p.m. so we can send check-in instructions. Terwer RV Park is rustic, peaceful, and easygoing. It is a place to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, walk to the river, and enjoy the kind of camping that feels simple in the best way. We look forward to welcoming you.

Had an absolute blast during my 2-night tent stay! Cortney was a wonderfully welcoming host who made me feel right at home. The onsite WiFi was a great bonus for trip planning, and the night skies were truly mesmerizing wall to wall stars. Best of all, you're just minutes from state and national parks, rivers, lakes, and scenic viewpoints. Highly recommend!

I loved it! Courtney was a perfect hostess making sure were taken care of. The camp was very clean and quiet. We were invited to sit at one of the care takers fires where he shared the best tips to experience the area. I would have stayed months if I didn't have a job to get back to.

The site was beautiful. It is near the Klamath River. While my wife and I were exploring near the site we ran into 2 gentleman from the nearby Yorik? Tribe. They explained a lot of the local fishing culture to us. They were great. The site itself is rustic. It is very clean and the staff work hard. Courtney was very friendly and helpful.

We loved RV camping at this site. Stars were BEAUTIFUL!! Directions were mostly clear. Numbered RV sites need to be updated, which the host said would be happening soon. Multiple RV/Tent sites with full hook up. Met Courtney and she was super friendly. Courtney gave us some great suggestions for the Redwood/coastal experience as well as breakfast and supper options. We stayed two nights on a 10 night road trip. Would definitely recommend to others.

We spent five nights at Terwer RV Park in May and loved every bit of it. This is a family-owned and operated park right along the Klamath River, and the owners are friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in keeping the place running well. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, and we always felt safe and at ease. Our site was a level, grassy pull-through with 50 amp full hookups. We had plenty of room to set up our awning, outdoor couch, and fire pit without feeling cramped. The river is right there, and being able to walk down and explore the water made the whole stay feel like a real retreat. The surrounding area is incredible. The Klamath River overlook is a must-see, and we made the drive down to Howland Hill Road near Crescent City, which was absolutely magical. We had our two dogs with us so we stuck to drives rather than hikes, but the scenery alone was more than worth it. If you're looking for a peaceful, no-fuss spot to set up camp and explore the Klamath and Redwood coast, Terwer is a great pick. We'd happily come back.

We had the most wonderful time at this campground. Everything’s is just a short drive away. We rode our bikes, rock hounded the banks of the Klamath and watched the boats and fishermen, spent time hiking in the redwoods, went beach combing, spent an evening at the casino, and had nice walks with our dogs. We have never met nicer host's. They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We will most definitely be back. Thank you so much Courtney for your kindness. You and your husband are doing an amazing job.

Courtney was an amazing host. She was so welcoming and went out of her way to get NP info for me. She even tried helping me troubleshoot my wi-fi calling. The tent site area was spacious and there was full sun available for my solar panels. I had a peaceful stay and the price was right. What's not to love?

Beautiful sanctuary like park. Huge shade trees. Amazing hosts. We are so amazed at the hard working owners of this park. They are tireless in making a beautiful haven for visitors. We will return. An easy 2 miles off the 101. Gas nearby! Delicious food and beer nearby. Gorgeous Klamath River views.

Terwer was a great place for me to stay while car camping on a long trip. Owners/Mgmt were so nice and the area is very pretty. Bathrooms are basic but showers are awesome...very hot and strong pressure. There was a mix of a couple RV's, campers a tent and then me in the car. Great place to stay a night or two.

Camping here was fantastic! Patti is such a great host and came over to use when we first got in and chatted us up and gave us some great recommendations on what to do in the redwoods. The site when we were they had lots of space and the bathrooms and showers were clean and it was nice having warm water to shower with. I would recommend to people looking for a tent spot by the redwoods.
