Wonderful place !
A private campsite steps away from the beautiful Illinois river. What more can you ask for. Bear sent detailed directions to the property and instructions for the composting toilet, which was set away from the campsite itself, and is nice and clean. It was exactly what we were looking for. Close to home, easy river access, quiet and private. We had a fantastic time. Thank you Bear :)

It is a slice of paradise right next to a pretty stream. There’s a hammock to lie in after a soak. 15 easy minutes south of Cave Junction and very quiet. The directions were perfect. It was the best campsite in 2500 miles of tenting!
We tent camped on Bear’s land and absolutely loved our time there. The camp spot was far enough back from the gated entrance to make us feel comfy with being away from the road. The river was so clear and clean-perfect for relaxing in with kiddos. Plenty of flat spots for multiple tents and the ability to have multiple campers spread out. The addition of the composite toilet is amazing. Our family has dubbed this property “Camp Green Gate” and we can’t wait to come back

Our stay was peaceful and had plenty of privacy and room for everyone. Being right next to water was ideal with the heat, nice and slow water to cool you off. Nice big trees providing good shade. Would definitely recommend, thank you for the great camping spot!
