Inside you'll find a comfortable queen-size bed, a dedicated writer's desk, ceiling lights, three large windows that fill the space with natural light, and a manually operated dome skylight that opens for fresh mountain air and spectacular night sky views. A propane stove keeps the yurt warm on cool evenings, and a portable power station is provided to charge phones, laptops, and other small electronics. Grassy S9 – Spacious Camper/Tent Site

As a single woman, it felt a bit strange since I was the only one there and my campsite was very close to the hosts house. Two of the campsites age basically right in their back yard and the guy kept staring at me for a long time. I heard a vehicle creep past my site at 1 am and basically could not sleep all night because I felt unsafe. Also I was not able to access the Wi-Fi or use the grill so I could not cook any of the food I brought with me. I can see how intentional they were with setting the place up, it would have been much better with a large group but I would not recommend it for a woman alone. I drove 7 hours to get there and ended up leaving at 3 am.

This was a great spot to camp while visiting Bend. The bathrooms with showers were new and clean. The gazebo with gas fire pit and games was a great hangout spot - and it had misters during the day when it was hot! The trail to an amazing sunset viewing spot was fun, and we spotted several lizards in the rocks. My family loved our stay and would come here again!

This is a lovely campground not far from Bend. The bathrooms were great as well as the communal fire pit. It’s well-kept and most sites were well-shaded in the mornings and late afternoons.

Quiet, peaceful, super clean! Our site was perfectly level which was perfect for our rooftop tent set up. Has its own walking path with a bench to watch the sun set. Highly recommend.

EZ S3 – 12×21 Compact Economy Camper, Van Site

Great spot in Bend and one of the closest options for camping. We were in town for music and was so fun to meet other people that were in town for the same reason. I did not stay in yurts but I saw inside one and it looked really nice. Showers and bathrooms were really nice and enjoyed walking my dog on the lava tube trail in the mornings.

Nice place overall. The freeway was pretty loud, you can hear it all night. Showers and bathrooms are cool options, so long as you get the code to enter the door. We didn't get the code until midnight so we never really got to experience that part.

Excellent yurt camping Bend

Y4 Wagon Wheel 20' Yurt at Roadhouse Ranch & Camp

The Yurt was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Each yurt is secured with electronic locks, so it felt very secure. Scott was immediately responsive to questions and anticipated needs, such as switching out the power cell before it could run down. The star gazing was excellent and I enjoyed wandering around the property, as well as watching the sunset from the seating area atop the beautiful rock formation. The gasfired fire pit was both attractive and convenient, although I did not use the gass grills, I did see other campers cooking with them. The bathhouse, also with security locks, was always clean and comfortable. The ease of access to everything from dinning, Breweries, shopping, Tumalo State Park, and any other activities you may want was a ten to fifteen minute drive, amazing. I will revisit this camping location.

This site was great for our tent set up. It was a little noisy from the highway, but not terrible. The campground has a bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers, a communal fire pit and a nice grill, and a cute trail with good views! Site 7 had a good tree area for our hammock and a picnic table. It seems like it would be a bit small for an RV, but didn’t bother us in our tent. Overall, it was a good trip.

If you’re looking for the perfect high-desert basecamp that balances total peace with creature comforts, this spot is an absolute gem. The biggest surprise has to be the brand-new shower house. It is absolutely top-tier—clean, modern, and they’ve clearly thought through the details. They stock it with quality bath soap, and they included the ultimate unsung hero of camping infrastructure: *plenty of hooks* to actually keep your dry clothes and towel off the floor. It’s the kind of setup that makes roughing it feel downright luxurious. When you aren't hanging out at camp, there’s a gorgeous private trail right on the property that serves up incredible sweeping views without any of the crowds. And the location is tough to beat—you get all that quiet ranch solitude while still being incredibly close to Bend, making it easy to pop into town for a killer hop-forward IPA or a bite to eat. Total 10/10. Space, views, and a stellar shower setup—it's everything you actually want in a camp spot!

I stayed two nights in campsite S4 tent camping. Great location outside of Bend. Easy access to everything in the region. Bathrooms and showers are an added luxury. Beautiful piece of property. I was visiting during hot weather so I had extra shade tarps. And I had earplugs for the road noise since it’s not far from the highway. I would totally stay again.
