the pond was really sweet and relaxing. the space can accommodate several large tents and its nice to have a camp site with no other campers around. the road that they live on is beautiful and we took walks up the road that were as good as a hike! I like that the road was quite isolated, there were sweet ducks in the pond and we had our own space, albeit it was very close to the hosts house, and we had to continuously ask them to refill our waters, because they only had single gallon jugs that they had to refill for us (rather than the several 5 gallon jugs which they had told us that they would provide, they did not). It was a bit inconvenient and not ideal to have to keep asking for water as they were out of the house for a whole morning and afternoon so they were unavailable, and we didn't want to disturb them at night. They also just quietly, randomly walked up to us at several points, without announcing their arrival, which felt a little strange. further, as soon as we got there, they started using their lawn mower right next to the camping spot, which was inconsiderate timing. I liked the space but think the hosts could consider better boundaries for hosting people on their space
Very friendly host, the animals were all close enough to hear with out being too loud or bothersome. Look forward to returning in the fall.

Lovely pond to camp by, quiet with nice dark sky and close to bike trail. Hosts were very quick and friendly to communicate with and loved having ducks join the pond in the morning.
Sadly site is right by gravel road that many cars sped on by but there is a hedge row dividing.
It’s more than double (after Hipcamp fees) that I’d normally pay for similar campsite and amenities.
Had an amazing stay! Directions to the site were very clear, firewood is available by crate, loved waking up to the animals, toilet is provided. No shower, so plan accordingly!

Jennifer was friendly and kind. But unfortunately the hot tub advertised as an amenity on Hipcamp was non existent. Jennifer mentioned she needed to remove that from the posting.

Mark and Jennifer were lovely hosts to have. The camp spot is absolutely gorgeous and the farm animals were a delight to visit. I highly recommend camping here especially if you want a nice view of the stars at night.

A peaceful spot to stay for one night. My 8 year old loved walking around to see the animals. The provided spring water was excellent. No mosquitoes! Thanks to the hosts for offering this space.

Mark and Jennifer were very welcoming and super helpful! The camping spot is very cute grassy area right next to the pond and they left out useful accommodations such as firewood for sale, a shovel for the fire pit, and two big jugs of springwater.

Our stay at Mark’s and Jennifer’s place was magical and unique! Hosts welcomed us warmly and showed us around. Campsite was well prepared, we couldn’t wish for more. Even though the place was located near the pond, there were no mosquitoes. We don’t bother farm smell but for those who care - it was not perceptible. Our kids were allowed to see the animals and even help a little bit! Jennifer’s hospitality really enchanted us ❤️

Hosts were very nice, campsite was cozy with beautiful views. Hosts had firewood available for a small fee. Would recommend for a getaway camping trip.

We had a great time camping on Mark’s land! The spot was private and peaceful next to a small pond with ducks and a turtle. Great location and close to so many hikes and day trip options. We took advantage of Mark’s energy work and relaxed in the hot tub after. Great experience, well worth the trip out there!
The title Healing Ponds was definitely the reason I looked into this place further for my daughter and her husband. She has been dealing with some stressful health issues. It seemed like a good spot to relax for an evening.
I talked with the owner on Wednesday afternoon, on speaker so my daughter could hear directions to the house. At that point I asked what was included in the stay? He stated that the hot tub was free, but the other things they offered would cost.
When my daughter and her husband went to check in at the main house. The aroma from animals rolled out the door. I might add they have pets, so they get some smell. When my daughter asked about the hot tub? She was told it was $100 an hour, and had to be booked in advance. The total cost to stay with tax is $60. Seems super outragous to me?
The toilet was an old RV style toilet with a broken handle. It hadn't received a good cleaning in awhile.
They did not unpack. They did not stay. We were all pretty bummed at this experience.

I loved the property, so peaceful and quiet. The campsight is well maintained, and my kids had so much fun visiting the farm animals! The hosts, Jennifer and Mark, are also very plesant people.

Great 😌 peaceful place! Loved sleeping next to the pound and hearing all the animals. Would say this camp site is for smaller SUVs or tent camping.
Owners are great, too.
Camping at the Pasture was wonderful ! We booked this camping trip specifically to watch the Perseid Meteor Sower⭐️ ; we picked the pasture camp site, and I am so happy we did 😊 ! The site was down a long road; we hiked back up the road on foot with the chairs at sunset to sit to and see more of the sky for the meteor shower⭐️.
* we saw several/ despite the larger moon !
The camp site was quiet ( except for the occasional cows 🐄 , goats and rooster calls 🐓) we love animals! The owners dog and goose even greeted us when we arrived too😍 ! Lovely camp host , excellent communication for directions and check in times !
The site was clean had a picnic table, chairs, toilet, water, and best of all was very secluded.

Mark and his wife Jenifer are very nice and kind host. Their campsite was easy to find and had everything you’d need for a camping trip. The pond I front of the campsite adds to the tranquility of being in nature.

If you want to have a very private spot, this is a good place to go to. Friendly host!
Fantastic experience. Mark and Jennifer were so welcoming and the property is charming. They were very communicative prior to arrival and getting there was a breeze. The site was set up with everything you'd want - picnic table, fire pit (wood was available), RV toilet and hammock. They even provided a 5 gallon jug of delicious spring water.
If you have an opportunity and are inclined, take advantage of the energy work/healing modalities Mark and Jennifer offer. They are extraordinary people and you'll be fortunate to find yourself in their presence.

We had a great time camping at their farm! Was perfect location for going to the coast and to portland the next day. The town of Vernonia is so cute and in general the friendliest people in Oregon! Cows were super cute :) No animals woke us up too early which was great as well ahahha

It was our first experience car camping and it was a wonderful place to make us feel safe and secure. Had a bathroom and our host was super friendly and welcoming.
Jennifer and Mark were wonderful hosts and we would gladly come back to camp if we are in the area again! Our camping site was very roomy and parking was close and convenient. The pond area directly next to the site was the perfect place to sit and watch the ducks (my personal favorite)! Overall the area is peaceful and accommodating. The buxton trail head is less than 2 miles away if you enjoy hiking. There are plenty of places to hike nearby; The Wahclella falls, for example ( gorgeous)! The beaches are about an hour away and it's a nice drive to the coast if you enjoy scenic views. All-in-all we had a wonderful time and highly recommend Jennifer and Mark's lovely property.
