Peaceful setting in a golf course community perfect for dog walks. Large site is close to the small town with gas, groceries, restaurants and breweries. The area is surrounded by National forests. And of course, there is Mt Ranier.

Really peaceful spot, away from all the gazillion other RVs in campsites in the area. You have the place all to yourself. Elk passing by here and there. We hope to be back!

This is our 4th time at the getaway. It is just what we need to relax. It is in a quite neighborhood that has access to a pool and small golf course. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

This parking spot is on a spacious lot in a quiet neighborhood in Packwood. The golf course is at the end of the street. There are tall trees all around the houses in this neighborhood. Plenty of room to park here. It’s an hour to an hour and half to Paradise and Sunrise in Mt Ranier NP from here. A convenience store, restaurants, and a coffee shop are nearby.

This is a great campsite! We came with an RV and four children, plenty of space to play on the grass. Not far from Paradise Road in Mount Rainier.
Make sure to clear your dump before you get here…

If you’re planning on just staying overnight and moving on like we did, then this might be a good choice. It’s an open lot in a nice neighborhood. We had electric and water hook ups, but that’s it. No shade. No facilities.
The host was nice on the phone and was available to help, but we didn’t see her.
We were visiting Mount Ranier. It was a little too far from the park and the road getting there was extremely rough.

Quiet location in Packwood. Great home base to explore the area, Mt Rainier close by, many hiking trail options. Every thing as advertised. Elk everywhere around Packwood including some right by our site.

We absolutely loved staying here! Only 5 minutes from Packwood and 15 minutes from the park entrance. It was the perfect basecamp for exploring all weekend! Such a peaceful and quiet area, plus the water and electric made it even better. Very grateful to find this place!

Gloria has a wonderful minimal space. The space is in a neighborhood but I expected this from the description and other reviews. The site is large enough for several families with water and power hookups for many. The neighbors were friendly and the area is quiet with only the occasional golf cart.

This was a convenient spot for our hiking in the park. It was also great having water and power. Gloria and her husband were great. We had a nice conversation with them one morning. As mentioned in previous reviews, all the neighbors seemed very friendly as they walked by. Packwood was also a nice surprise..

This site was right on the side of the road, which was not what I expected. Otherwise, it was a great experience! The area was very quiet and low key, but close to town and the shops. We had plenty of space for our kids to play without going to close to the street.

We brought our very tiny (5x10) camper to Gloria's place. The site is level and while I was a bit concerned about the open area and closeness to the road, everything was great! The property is on a dead-end road (nice for walking our dog) and everyone that went by from the properties up the road were so friendly. Lots of waves and smiles. We would not have felt more welcome.
Other reviews complained about loud neighbors. They were on their porch until about 10pm and do indeed have loud voices, but they were quiet at 10 and that was just fine with us. We are a loud talking family as well.
The neighborhood is very quiet and Packwood has a cute brewery and bakery. We had our dog, so lots of hiking options in the National Forest.

The camp is in a neighborhood which others have mentioned. It was super convenient to Packwood and Mt Rainier south face. It worked great for our needs. The only negative was the lack of garbage service.

The location was a lot in a nice little sub-division. The lot was level, and there was electric and water hook up. The water was very good tasting. The neighborhood and towns people were very friendly.

Great piece of property in a nice little neighborhood! Very close to the country club where there was a pool and playground. About 2.5 miles into town. The neighbors were all very welcoming! Would definitely stay again.

Great communication with host and a convenient spot near Mt Rainier. This was our first hipcamp and we were so pleased. We had fun biking on safe shoulders to Packwood for breakfast. Packwood has the best visitor center for info and a fun brewery. I highly recommend this spot especially for an rv needing electric and water hook-ups.

The kids enjoyed the pool and riding their bikes. Next time we’ll take advantage of the golf course. Site was roomy and we didn’t have any issues with noisy neighbors.

Nothing against Gloria, but unfortunately the neighbors made our stay less than enjoyable. Loud music and parties at night, dogs barking at us and off leash all the time. The site itself was good and just as advertised, but probably best for well insulated RVs or deep sleepers.

Great location! Close to Mt. Rainier and Packwood. Site is in a part of the neighborhood with very little car traffic. Three of the neighbor’s dogs (and the neighbors themselves) walked through our site multiple times throughout the visit, and the house across the street had a party with loud music late into the night the first night, but other than that, the stay was nice. It’s not a private site because of how many houses are close by and how many people are around, but if you’re looking for a reasonable place to rent that’s close to Rainier, this is a decent option.
