Welcome, to the Meadery, we are a working winery with several other interests to investigate as well. Come learn about making Mead. We have an annual cider press in late September or early October as well.  Want to learn how to Roast your own coffee bean? Or maybe you are competitive and want to race 132 or 124 slot cars on a Carrera 124 Digital Track. There is also a nice walk in the woods, and if it is hot you can float down the Deschutes River that is very close by.  Pitch your tent in a few areas you pick, there are Mountain Bike and ATV trails around the property as well. There is a winery on site and an outside tasting area with a fire pit. Two bathrooms with showers. The RV area is out near the road in a level area near the Koi pond that has power and water. We are pet friendly. We offer firewood for sale on site, camp fires permitted outside of a burn ban. Guests love staying here: "Dean's acreage is a dream! We stayed there in our motorhome and absolutely loved it. We have two dogs and they are picky about making friends but adored Deans dogs. They are the sweetest and make the camping even more enjoyable. Dean was kind enough to show us his meadery and the property so we felt comfortable exploring and walking around. We would definitely recommend it for other campers whether you have an RV, tent, van, etc. For reference we comfortably parked our 31 ft motorhome and we were able to hookup to electricity (only available in one spot so inquire with dean!). There is a shower and toilet available for use in a separate building from his home in the backyard."

Dean is a masterful host and staying with him should be in any camper’s bucket list. That’s why my friends and I returned after celebrating my birthday with him last year (we’re hoping to make it an annual tradition). Some added advice would be to do the coffee tour- it’s well worth your while to learn his roasting process and you get a helping of some of the best roast in WA state. This spot is not to be missed!

Best. Host. Ever!
We have been to 20+ states this year and spent many amazing nights at camps along the way. When I tell you that Dean is the most gracious, generous and accommodating host, you better believe it's true! From the moment we arrived we knew we were in the right place! Towering trees and gorgeous trails cover the campsite and the Honeysuckle Meadery provided a sweet and refreshing way to relax! Seriously, every item Dean has made is excellent! He took us on a guided trail ride, walked down to river with us and our our dogs (b.e.a.utiful) and showed off the most impressive slot car racetrack we had ever seen! The restrooms were great! Hot showers were perfection at the end of each amazing day. It was difficult to leave this place, and I can not say a grand enough thanks for the hospitality, kindness and just overall welcoming stay.

Camping with entertainment!
Dean was a fabulous host who was friendly, helpful, and has so much to offer (like amazing coffee!). Our group had a blast doing his mead tasting and racing his electronic mini race cars. The property was lovely and convenient, as were the 2 “real bathrooms” with showers. We will very likely be back!
