Truly All Provided and Stress free!
Long story short: My youngest and I adored staying here! Incredible amenities and nearby access to hiking and lakes.
I took my kiddo (7) on a camping trip just the two of us so the amenities were incredibly helpful. The site we had felt secluded and peaceful. Several birds would visit in the mornings along with the bunnies Chubs and Marshmallow who would wander about. The campground is truly everything provided! We only had to bring food, clothes and entertainment. Everything from bedding, utensils, sunscreen and bug spray were available. The kitchen supply area even had a waffle maker, toaster, coffee pot, water kettle and microwave. The porta potties were kept clean and well stocked. The provided ice chest was a bit too small for our needs, but we did stay for nearly a week and already planned on bringing out own. The cute little downtown area is a few minutes away, so we were able to get ice, have lunch at the restaurants located in train cabooses and end our trip with a ride on the steam engine. There is a lake nearby where you can take a shower, the showers were free but fri-sun it is a $10 fee to enter which was worth a day at the lake and a hot shower. Mt Rainer is a short drive away as well; many other campers were there specifically because of the location to the trails. My youngest and I had such a wonderful time and decided we will be making this a yearly tradition. Looking forward to coming back next summer and in the fall or winter if it's open.
