1 night at River View Dome - Goode Time Ranch

The geodesic dome was so fun! Kelly was very accommodating, the dome had everything we needed and more! Kelly graciously walked us around her property and let us pet all her farm animals! She even made us a farm fresh egg for breakfast!

Beautiful little oasis in a lovely neighborhood. Host provided clear instructions and was responsive. Porto was in great condition. We camped in a tent but the dome looked awesome, considering that for next time in town. Recommended!

What a gem of a place to camp! Very quiet and surrounded by nature. The river is beautiful and the sound of water flowing by at night so relaxing. Doug is an excellent host and had a nice spot prepared on the river rock for a fire. We really enjoyed our stay!

Weekend Trip to River View Dome - Goode Time Ranch

Our family stayed here for a night and it was wonderful to say the least! We were met by Kelly and her sweet dog Boone who showed us around and made us feel at home. We got to meet her chickens and goats and even did a nature walk around the property with them! My son really got a kick out of all the animals and got to pet and feed them treats that Kelly was so kind enough to provide. The views were incredible and the egg and salad breakfast Kelly so kindly prepared for us in the morning was a wonderful addition to the stay as well. Would definitely love to stay again and get a chance to check out the sauna, it looked awesome! Overall it was a wonderful stay and thanks again to Kelly and Randy for sharing their property with us!

Highly recommend this spot! Doug was such a kind and friendly host, and the location was beautiful! Despite being somewhat close to the back of the house, it felt very removed and private. The river access was very easy, and the river itself was gorgeous! We were delighted to spend the day on the bank, enjoying the view and a lovely camp fire. We have a 14-foot teardrop camper and had no problem with the site, but I’m pretty comfortable backing up with it. If you’re not, it could be a bit tricky to access the site with a tow behind.

Weekend Trip to River View Dome - Goode Time Ranch

My partner and I had such an amazing time in the geodesic dome! Kelly went above and beyond as a host! The spot features gorgeous views of the Columbia river, along with farm animals, yard games, a hottub, and a sauna! What more could you want!? The dome was incredibly comfortable and Kelly had the place stocked with snacks, wine, board games, TV, and Wifi. My partner and I played Cornhole, played fetch with Boone (Kelly's dog), pet the goats, fed the chickens, cooked veggie dogs on the fire, and in the morning Kelly brought us eggs with toast and a delicious salad. It was such a relaxing time and an incredible getaway we will remember for a long time.

Weekend Trip to Nature Camp, Cabin and Farm

This campsite had everything we were looking for--privacy, quiet, and beauty. Our kids loved visiting the farm animals and skipping rocks in the river. We had plenty of space in our site with a sturdy picnic table that was close to very clean restrooms. We really enjoyed the sound of water nearby all weekend, and occasionally the bald eagles nesting overhead. The host was very friendly and helpful, and provided everything we needed. No complaints at all!

Our campsite at Gather and Feast Farm was an absolute delight! Waking up to the sounds of goats, pigs, and chickens was such a fun change from the usual campground noise. But the real stars of the show were the Highland cows – they are even more magnificent in person! Getting to see them up close was definitely the highlight of our trip. And Mark, the owner, was incredible! He was so welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a unique and memorable camping experience, this place is a must visit.

Douglas was a great host, and very knowledgeable about the area. The riverfront is hundreds of miles feet down the trail from the site and is beautiful. I would stay there again. Very quiet and private.

I loved my stay. Spot 3 was awesome. Shaded. Nick was amazing. He checked on me everyday to make sure I didn't need more water or fire wood. The only downfall is you hear all the road traffic from. Spot 3. However I will most definitely be staying here again. 😁😁😁😁😁

3 nights at HolisticLifeFarm Clatskanie OR

We loved camping on Holistic Life Farms! When we first arrived we were welcomed by James the farm dog who never barked once and was so sweet with our dog. James lead the way to our Luxury Glamping tent. The tent is amazing and has a gorgeous deck overlooking beautiful forests. The tent has a comfortable bed, desk, end table, cabinet you can store things under, and a charging station for your phones, etc...which was very helpful. There is cell phone service but opted out of communicating with the outside world, as we were mesmerized with the beauty of our surroundings. There is an overhead light, beautiful wood floors, a large rug and two armchairs. The best part is the woodburning stove which we used every night and morning. Having coffee in bed with the warmth of the stove was Luxury at its finest. The deck is quite big and is covered so if it rains you can still enjoy the outdoors and the solar lights come on at night. There are two chairs, a small table and a large table to put your camping stove on. We did bring an additional folding table for the deck . Handy for extra gear. The composting toilet is very close, well thought out and well kept. Bring a good flashlight to get you to the toilet as it is pitch black when the solar lights turn off . The next morning we met Kyle the farm hand, Buttercup the cow, Sidney, and Paul the owner who is amazing! All absolutely lovely people. We bought grass fed steaks and raw milk. So delicious. I miss the farm so much already. K.G.

What a fun place to stay! Love that it's close to town, in case you want to venture out. But it also doesn't feel like you're in the thick of things - you do see planes flying over, and if you look at it you can see 122 traffic, but it really doesn't disturb the vibe and you only notice if you look or occasionally hear it. She is VERY responsive to texts if you have questions, but you're also not bothered if you just want peace during your stay. The bathrooms are clean, the ground are pretty. The historic things on site are fun, and it was great to see the goats and turkeys!

Great place, would return. Hosts were friendly/helpful while still giving lots of privacy to enjoy our stay. The property was well kept and beautiful. Stayed in site 3 which was tucked away a bit and perfect for us with our dogs. There were some mosquitos so be prepared! Lots of firewood was available, great picnic table, and enough room at site 3 for 2 small tents close together.

(This is a leave no trace site. You must take all of your garbage with you!) Just 1.5 hours from Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 3 minutes from Rainbow Falls State Park and 4 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate. Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds. We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events. 6 mi from Jones Creek Brewing, 7 mi from Evey's Cafe & Pe Ell, 20 mi from I-5, 69 mi Westport Quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am.

We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers** Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!

River Mountain Meadow

Learn more about this land: It sits upon a meadow with surrounding trees and a cow pasture in the distance. Spring time offers a small pond, but the Lewis river is in within walking distance and tons of recreational activities are close by (swimming, fishing, hiking, wineries, etc.). There are only two sites, far from each other. It is a rural property with a few residential homes and Airbnbs along the river, so be aware there are cars that drive through the one lane road. Town is close by for a quick trip. Privacy is better here than at a public campground and it's perfect for a close trip out of town for a day or two. *This winter was tough, lots of wind, so some trees fell, but they are all cleaned up and lots of small trees were planted. Can't wait until they grow!!! Dogs are most welcome, and may be off leash for a run in the field, however, please be mindful of my own dogs and chickens down below so please do not let them go beyond your site or the field when using. We plan on making the pond to be a swim pond that will hold water all year long (the creek that runs into it is seasonal so it dries out depending on how much rain we get). Please, read each site description carefully! Site 1 has a composting toilet for tent campers (please do not rate me based on this or any other things out of my control, I have tried my best to inform you about what to be aware of in this description AND each site's description). The toilet is santized, bags and gel are provided and it's private. You MUST pack out ALL waste; if you do not like any of these conditions please do not book this site. Site 2 is for RVs that already have a toilet so if you are a tent camper and want to book this site you will need to bring your own camp toilet. This is a beautiful property and I enjoy sharing it, please be mindful of the rules.

Relax at the River

We have a 1/2 acre property on the Cowlitz River in the middle of Cooks Ferry Park in Castle Rock WA. We bought the property to relax in a beautiful setting close to home. We only live 15 minutes away. The property is made up of dredge spoils from when Mt. Saint Helens blew and is inside of a park where people can go to fish and enjoy the river. There are only 8 lots privately owned and we are the first lot that you come to. There is plenty of room for an RV. Guests can also tent camp or stay in our shack that has a sleeper sofa. There are snacks, a sign in book, an axe, briquets, a fire extinguisher, and other items the shack. There is a picnic table, fire pit, BBQ, and wood stove. There is a porta potty on the property. We value your privacy. We do have cameras on the property that are on when no one is there. Once a Hipcamper arrives at the property, they are turned off. We also keep our travel trailer there to enjoy when we can. We will never be there camping when you are there. In the summer, we sometimes kayak. We put in upriver and get out at the property. If it is booked at that time, we will always check first to see if it is okay for us to get out there. If you continue going past our property, there are some nice rock beaches with pretty views. People fish there and wade in the water in the summer. Castle Rock is a cute little town with some nice shops, restaurants and bars. I recommend checking it out! We are not picky about check in/check out time. It would only matter if someone else was checking in the day you are checking out. Please ask if you expect to arrive earlier or want to check out later. If your plans change, please cancel through Hipcamp to get a refund.

The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We are happy to share our five acres of beautiful PNW forest with intrepid campers Learn more about this land: Have you ever wanted to have an entire campground to yourself? Planning a romantic getaway, private group trip, or getting your feet wet with your first trip of the year (or ever!?) We have got the perfect place for you! Camp on the edge of Forest Park and sleep underneath an evergreen canopy of Douglas fir and big leaf maple. We have one large forest glade with room for several tents. We book only one group at a time, so you are guaranteed the place to yourselves. We can accommodate up to 15 people, with a max of 5-6 vehicles (parking is tight). This is a hike-in only campground most suited to backpack style camping. The hike in has two short steep sections about 50 feet each. It takes 5-15 minutes depending on fitness level and load. This is not suitable for those with accessibility issues. The campground features: -Fairy lights strung among the tress to create the perfect magical ambiance -Large fire ring with seating for 7-10 and cooking grate -picnic table with seating for six - Composting latrine with a forest view (commune with nature!) -Photo worthy hammock, swinging loveseat , and sunset views - A huge clearing with multiple flat tent spots (5-7) -1/2 mile of trails with hidden surprises - A parking area suitable for car camping or van camping during the rainy season. -Only 20 minutes from downtown Portland, 15 from I5, and minutes from gas and Parking is separate from the campground! It is a brief but steep 1/4 mile hike to get to the main campground and latrine. Bring hiking shoes and pack light. It takes most people 5-15 minutes to hike up, depending on fitness level and load size . If you want to car camp, you will be next to a road and separate from the latrine and fire pit. Enjoy several short trails on the camp's property before heading to Forest Park's Wildwood Trail, which is just up the street, or check out all of the incredible natural and urban nearby attractions in Portland. We are about 20 minutes away Portland's International Rose Test Garden , The Oregon Zoo, and Pittock Mansion Or just swing lazily in a hammock under the trees and enjoy the sound of the forest coming to life. Secluded private site centrally located just a mile from Interstate 5, and 6 miles from the Interstate 5 / Hwy 205 intersection so most places in Clark County are less that 20 minutes away. Located 10 minutes from ilani Casino, 5 minutes from the Clark County Fairgrounds and amphitheater, and less than 30 minutes from some of the nicest freshwater lakes around. Hosts are avid Flyboarders, Jetskiers, Paraglider Pilots, and Stuart has been climbing since the late 1900's (1974 and up... back in the era where if it couldn't be nailed it couldn't be climbed). This is a secluded, Park Like property with walking trails all the way around it, and some interesting things for kids to spot, especially up Fairy Lane. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids. In the dry season, typically May through the end of September, fires are not allowed, and plese USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO SMOKE ONSITE. If you are one of those who just tosses your butts in the underbrush, you will be asked to leave for the safety of our property and guests. There is no smoking allowed inside the cabin, bathroom, or anywhere near the sawmill, or any area North of it. There is an active sawmill onsite IES-Sawmill.com. People are welcome to visit, but equipment has the right of way and may not see you. Please avoid the log decks, and especially don't allow children to play on them, as logs can roll at any time. Some of the equipment is big, heavy, and doesn't have the greatest visibility if people walk up un-noticed. Always ensure that the operator sees you, and don't place yourself anywhere where a log that comes loose could run you down. Operating Equipment always has the right of way. There is a climbing wall on the North side of the machine shop. If you are an experienced climber with a partner to belay you can the appropriatte gear, you are welcome to use the wall, please let us know first. If the hosts have time, you may be able to convince them to give you a lesson. We are changing the anchors on our ziplines, so they are not available for use at this time. There is a public bathroom in the middle of the property beside the tree fort. It's well lit and open 24 hours a day. It has a flush toilet and a cold water sink and COLD water shower. The water comes out of the ground year round at about 60 degrees so it's a chilly shower. If you need a hot shower, renting the cabin is your best bet as it comes with a private bath that has a hot shower. We try to keep rules to a minimum, but people seem to find creative ways to cause issues. Please park outside the yellow gate in the parking areas noted on the map. Please park on gravel and DON'T DRIVE OFF THE GRAVEL ROADS ONTO THE GRASS. Anita hates it, as you can cause a fire in the summer, and leave muddy ruts in the wet seasons. If you're driving through the trees, you're doing something wrong. There is plenty of wildlife on the property especially in the couple hours before dark. Best place to spot deer, racoons, pocupines and beaver are down near the pond. Enjoy your stay. Stuart and Anita

Fun towns also nearby are Astoria, OR, just a 15 minute drive south and Oysterville and Ocean Park are a quick 25 minute drive North! The Rodeo Grounds are located on Sandridge Road in Long Beach. The 2024 Long Beach Rodeo is July 27th and 28th, 2024. Limited horse stalls are available to rent during this time. But Rhett's Ranch is more than just a venue—it's a place where memories are made and cherished. Animals are not typically at the property however, at special events or extended stays (4+ nights) visitors can encounter a menagerie of animals, from mini ponies and donkeys to goats, pigs, and cows.
