Great place to camp during a mt saint helens adventure or while passing through. The property is beautiful. The porta potty was clean and stocked. There is cell phone signal if that is important to you. It is currently blackberry season and we were given permission to pick them. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Despite the road being close it was not loud all night. Fell asleep to the sound of crickets. There was a rooster on I assume a neighboring property but we wanted an early start anyway.

What a wonderful spot to stay! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by lots of trees that provided plenty of shade from the sun. We loved being able to relax in such a pretty, natural setting. The water access was definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay! We had so much fun enjoying the river while we were camping and it really made the trip feel like an adventure. A few things to keep in mind when planning your stay: this is definitely a come prepared with everything you need kind of campsite. I would recommend bringing your own camping table, chairs, and any other supplies you'll need. There is one porta-potty shared by the campground, so if you prefer having your own bathroom setup, definitely bring a portable toilet. Our host was wonderful to communicate with and was quick to respond to messages, which made everything easy and stress-free. And one unexpected highlight was the little gas station grill just a couple of miles down the road! They had one of the best burgers I've enjoyed in a very long time. I'm gluten-free and was able to get mine as a lettuce wrap, and I had no issues with cross-contamination — which is incredibly rare for me and was such a pleasant surprise! Overall, we had such a fun and memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again! 🌲🏕️🌊

Big open site and the walk to the river is short and the beach was fabulous. Hosts were welcoming and informative. Definitely will return. Thank you for sharing your property. What a great find.

Hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Lovely camp, excellent river beach (if the river is low enough), lots of space between sites, port-o-potty for restroom but hosts cleaned it every day. Hook ups were in good shape. I even earned a gold star from our camp host ;-) We'll come again!!

Great place to camp, big flat open area with shade, clean port-a-potty. Water spicket near the tent camping was nice for washing hands and spraying sand off your feet after going to the river. River access was awesome! We had a great time relaxing by the river while the kids played.

Tyler’s place was extremely well cared for and set up in a way that really made our annual family camp trip special. The grounds were immaculate and Greg was helpful and kind. Just a heads up for tent campers - This is not a remote location and you should expect to hear noise from the road and train tracks nearby. The family members in campers had a much easier time sleeping than those in tents. Overall great stay though!

Lovely little Ranch, very clean, friendly people. Quite and the sites are amazing for RVs as they are pretty much all pull through, I really appreciated the setup and thought that went into the road configuration. Would definitely stay here again, especially if you wanted to do a cowlitz fishing trip wor something local it's a great place to stay!

This was a really great property! The dry camping sites were very generous and there was plenty of space. The host was very nice. Greeted us shortly after arrival and even had treats for my dogs. River access was a short walk and was very nice, especially on a hot day! We had a great stay. This is a nice Hipcamp and I would highly recommend this property!

This is our third time to stay on Tyler’s land in Castle Rock. We love the full hook ups and so much room between campers. It is kept up well and very peaceful. The river is a short walk away with blackberries that were ripe.

Lots of tent space, super friendly hosts, and a super relaxing river spot. It is close to I-5 which is nice for ease of access, but there is some noise from the highway and occasional train so bring earplugs if that's something that bothers you.

Excellent hosts! The campsites were well maintained! Short walk to the river and a very comfortable trailer spot with full hookups. The spaces were far apart so there was an extreme amount of privacy! We forgot oil and it’s close enough for DoorDash to deliver. The host also recommended a burger place in the chevron. We hit that up and it definitely worth it!

Great communications, great directions, great space! The full rv spot was awesome, hookups super easy. And a short hike to the Cowlitz river with the pup was over the top! At least a quarter mile private beach to run and swim and play. Great Basecamp for St. Helen's too. We hiked around Coldwater lake. Go to the deli at the the Chevron station a couple miles from the campsite and get the bacon cheeseburger. Super good...or go for breakfast....menu is awesome. Super attentive peeps, super great space, will be back most certainly! Fun fun.

Good place to fish privately

Tammy and Greg the host were very nice. Since we stayed on July 3rd, we expected there would be some fireworks noise because of the holiday. However, the hosts kindly let us know about it in advance. In reality, the fireworks weren't nearly as loud as we had expected, so they didn't bother us much. A quiet spot along the Cowlitz River is just about a four-minute walk from the campsite via a short trail, making it a great place to relax. There are also stores nearby if you need to pick up supplies. Although the campground is conveniently located close to 1-5, traffic noise was minimal. It seems the owners are continuing to improve and upgrade the campground. It's already a great place to camp, and I'm sure it will become even better in the near future.
