The place would be absolutely perfect if it wasn't so close to freeway noises.

Nicely maintained, pleasant camping area. Lots of space between spots. Super clean porta potty. Enjoyed walking the trail to the peaceful riverside beach area. A great place to camp!

This was a perfect camping spot for our visit to Mount St Helens. There were several camp spots on the property and nice separation. We stayed in Rabbit Run. There are two full hookups with 30 amp. The directions sent to our site were great! Not long after we arrived, we were greeted by Greg who welcomed us to the property. He showed me where the walk was to the river and offered us wood to purchase. He also told us about a great burger spot at the Chevron station in Lexington next to the hardware store. We went there for dinner after our long day at Mount St Helens. The walk to the river was nice and the river itself is a pretty spot. However, there is a sand embankment you need to traverse to get down to the river. Just be careful. It was a beautiful beach area! Tammy (Tyler's sister) is quick to respond to questions. It's a family oriented business.

This place checked a lot of boxes for us. Very close to our Portland home, just a little over an hour up I5. Very easy to follow directions. Full hookups were very easy to set up. Plenty of room to ourselves, even though there were other RV campers and a few tent campers. We never felt like we heard them or they were any bother at all. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating, even asking us if we prefered they mowed the area around us or waited. The entire property was spotless and obviously well taken care of. The night sky was fantastic, although a little overcast the second night. The star of the property is the amazing river about a 1/4 mile or so from the campsite through a well maintained path. Sandy beaches and calm clean water. My dogs were absolutely loving it.

We enjoyed our stay at j squared ranch, really quiet even though there were other campers in the area. The hosts were awesome and accommodating, we did have a little issue when we first arrived but the hosts took care of that very quickly. We loved the close proximity to the river and the grounds were kept nice, clean and well taken care of . My wife and I and 2 dogs with a 30ft trailer will be back In The future.

This spot was great, tons of room. Spacious site with shade and sun. Just a short walk to the beach on the cowlitz river. Short drive into Lexington. Easy to get to, well maintained. We will be back.

What a beautiful spot. The hosts were very gracious and helpful and the grounds were beautifully maintained. It was so peaceful especially considering how close it was to town. My favorite part was the birds.

My partner and I loved staying here and the hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Quiet open space and only a short 5-10 min walk to the river. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time on Tyler’s land! The hosts were very welcoming and always there to help . Tammy responded to messages super fast and Greg stopped by twice to make sure we had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The campsite was quiet and beautiful, very well maintained. Our dogs had a blast exploring the trails and playing on the beach. We will definitely be back!

Tammy was wonderful when it came to communication. Greg was inviting and very helpful when we arrived making sure we had everything we needed. The walk to the river isn’t too far and the trail to get to the river was actually really peaceful. Glad to say we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful, well kept, and peaceful property with a quaint walk to the secluded river beach on the cowlitz. The owners were hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again!

Site was easy to find, location was beautiful and quiet and close to amenities. Other campers were there but were barely noticeable due to spacing of campsites. Definitely as advertised, would absolutely recommend!

We had a magnificent time camping at this location. Lots of space to roam for both people kids and dogs. We will definitely be back. The host were welcoming and we had no issues at all.

The site was in a green grassy meadow, shaded with cottonwood. The graveled fire ring was perfect and the ground even. A nice walk to the river was included. Easy to access sites. Close to Mt. St. Helen.

The directions to get there were easy to find and I had my choice of a shady spot under the trees or a wide open grassy field. The host greeted me and confirmed where I could camp. I chose the open area and it was great for early sun in the morning. This is a great location between Castle Rock and Longview. If you forget something, like I did, it was easy to get it in Longview. I had planned this location so I could visit the Mt. St. Helens Visitor center and hiked the boardwalk. You could easily do a day trip to get closer to Mt. St. Helens. Dry camping worked well for me and the porta potty was very clean. I saw the RV spots and one could easily fit a large RV in them.

This was the best camping. Short walk to river wonderful sandy beach. Everyone went above and beyond asking if I needed help setting up anything they even have firewood lots of kindling around. Will defiently be coming back this wknd. Shannon

We had an amazing time! The family hosts were great, kind and informed us of a good place to eat on our way out. They have firewood on site for purchase, the CLEANEST Porta Potty we've ever used! The river was beautiful! We will be back!

This is one of my favorite hipcamps! Its a nice big area and the campsites are spread out so it feels very private. The walk down to the river was so nice, my dog loved it! The hosts were so friendly and kind, they even recommended some places to eat and gave me an emergency number to call day or night. I felt very welcomed. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

First time staying at J squared ranch, enjoy our stay,
Rabbit hole camp site was nice, quiet ,nice view of the surrounding area . 10 min walk to the river . Very clean well taken care of camp site.
Would recommend staying here anytime.
