Cowlitz River Rentals

31 sites · RVs, Tents70 acres · Lewis
We are no longer taking any reservations for Summer 2023. Thank you all, who stayed with us this summer in our first season. We hope you all had fun, in spite of the dust. Wishing you all a great fall and winter. Hope to see you in 2024! BURN BAN IN EFFECT AS OF 8/14/2023 Propane or pressurized gas bbq's, stoves, and fire pits only. No wood or charcoal fires, Tiki torches, etc. WE CLOSE FOR THE SEASON ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2023 WELCOME to Cowlitz River Rentals! We have a total of 14 sites on about 70 acres. Some of these sites have multiple options for booking. An update was done by Hipcamp to improve the search function for campers, which has resulted in all of our site options being listed separately and showing as 22 sites. Our sites are listed as: -Individual (ind) - up to 6 people -Small Group (sm group) - up to 16 people -Large Group (lg group) - up to 30 people We have 10 options for Individual, 7 options for Small Group, and 5 options for Large Group. Some of these are different options for the same site. IF YOU BOOK HERE..... DO NOT try to use Google, Apple, or the Hipcamp app to get you to your booking site. ALL of them will GET YOU LOST! USE THESE COORDINATES (46.5354948, -121.9697498) to get to the access road, and then call my number that is posted there. or USE THE DIRECTIONS in the BOOKING CONFIRMATION.....PLEASE! Right now, the order in which you see the listings is determined by the amount of reviews for each site. Hipcamp is working on a sort function so we can organize the order better. Please scroll through. Not all sites can accommodate groups. Some sites are not feasible for large trailers. Click on a site for more details in the description. We are open May 1 - Aug 31. If you are looking for a group sites for Labor Day 2023, please message me, we do have alternative river front options available. IF ALL OF THE INDIVIDUAL SITES ARE BOOKED FOR THE DATES YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, PLEASE CALL OR MESSAGE ME. If there are group sites available, it may be possible that I can put you in one of those for the individual price. (Two night minimum.) INDIVIDUAL Sites are: Mountain View Riverbar West-ind The Spring Shady Acres Elk Corner Bigfoots Den Hammock Heaven South Beach Riverside Sandy Beach SMALL GROUP sites are: Mountain View Riverbar West-group Berry Patch Bigfoots Den The Fort Riverside The Point LARGE GROUP sites are: Mountain View Riverbar West-group Berry Patch The Fort The Point We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle. Randle is a gateway to many other outdoor areas and activities including Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens. You can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions. We have sites scattered across 70 acres. Your perfect camping site may be found in the fields, in the shade of the trees, by the river, in view of Mt. Adams, or a combination of these. You can be assured plenty of space for privacy and quiet, even if other campers are in the vicinity. We currently host newly developed, private river access, camp areas on the upper Cowlitz River. ("Newly developed" means that the brush and briars were pushed away and there is dirt remaining.) We are mowing and clearing limbs to try to make things easy to get around and look nice, but this has been a cattle grazing pasture for the past 100 years. It is also flood plain, so we get a fresh covering of river silt almost every year. Hipcamp shows us as having 22 sites, but that is because some sites have more than one option to book. However, there are ONLY 14 site locations strategically spread across this large acreage, each with its own "personality" and benefits. The property has a TWO MILE perimeter.....there is plenty of room! PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR EACH SITE to find out what type of vehicle it can handle. Some are recommended tent only. We make an effort to maintain site privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. We value being in the outdoors, with the feeling of "getting away", without having the rules, restrictions, and crowds of typical campground areas.... we figure you do too. The Google Earth picture used to pinpoint site locations is a few years old. We have been clearing site areas of underbrush and briars. New pics will be added as we get them. Please feel free to ask questions about any site. Most areas can be accessed with 2wd vehicles, although certain areas may be a little rough for something with low clearance. Some sites are more friendly to larger trailers than others. Please read the descriptions and ask questions if you are unsure. We have four separate riverbars, some with sandy beach areas. There is plenty of river space for all. Ask us about river floating and kayak options. Let us know if you have a special group event. We are very flexible and can help you create the situation that would suit your group the best. Pets are welcome, but be aware that coyotes, bobcat, and cougar have been sited in the valley. There are also eagles and hawks to be aware of for smaller animals. Feel free to reach out with questions before booking to make sure all of your needs can be accommodated. Things to be considered: Need for outside toilets, need for campfire wood, need for water, types of vehicles, your camping goal (group get together or total solitude with peace and quiet), quick easy access to the main road or camping way off the path, best pet areas, best kid friendly areas, ect. We welcome your questions. Our goal is to help you make great memories!

Tahuya Adventure Resort

21 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents38 acres · Belfair, Mason
3 sisters and our brother in law decided we wanted to make a place where people can enjoy the Northwest that we grew up in. It doesn't matter if you bring your own tent, drive an rv, or rent the luxury tent, the great outdoors is there for all to enjoy! We have great places to pitch your own tent and enjoy the rustic pleasures just being outdoors. The sites are rustic and access to trails are nearby. We also have a wonderful covered outdoor kitchen with propane grill, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe place to gather with family. Bring your RV and park and have a large site to yourself. You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games. Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen size bed and small kitchen area. Each tent has its own heat source for your comfort. Each tent has its table right outside on the deck but it you are feeling social come enjoy our outdoor kitchen. We are open year round and It is different every season Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. You NEED to check this place out."
