Shangri La Push RV
Dale and Wendy’s Hipcamp was just right for us! Clean, quiet, with easy check in, great Wi-Fi, and plentiful inexpensive wood supply. Electric hook up was easy and reliable. Water hook up required pumping, so we used our tank. Beautiful location perfectly situated for exploring some truly stunning scenery.

What a peaceful location. Site are nice, flat and graveled. We arrived to an easy check-in, site selection and quietness. The location had a great fire pit, picnic table and close access to the restroom with shower. Everything was clean and organized. There is a great little restaurant and general store about .5 mile away. Great location and great host.

I did not stay at the camp, I did not receive the information I needed through hipcamp. I tried to cancel but either it didn't go through or they wouldn't except it. I tried to message the host once I was able to get service but he ignored my message. I was charged 89$ and did not stay there. I would not recommend hipcamp or the Shangri LaPush RV.

Quick stopover so I didn’t get a chance to experience this Hipcamp in-depth but it met my needs. Good WiFi, hot shower, highway noise quiets down nicely at night. Good level site for my van. Owner Dale wasn’t there that day so I didn’t get a chance to meet him. Maybe next time :)

Small camp area with beautiful forest surrounding and access to WiFi and clean restroom/shower. Perfect spot to park my camper van and spend the night. Dale was very nice to accommodate me last minute.

Shangri La Push
This was a perfect camping experience for my partner and I with our dog. We are new to camping and it was reassuring to have a bathroom and such a kind host on the property in case we needed anything. We got to choose our favorite camp spot and were able to get a nice fire going in the pit. Highly recommend. Dale was also very helpful in giving us recommendations of places to visit in the area. Thank you!

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we had placed Shangri LaPush on our favorites list a while ago and decided it was finally time to go! This place did not disappoint! Dale was a wonderful host and very welcoming! The bathroom was clean and warm in the chilly weather, and our camp site was clean and spacious for our setup. We loved that it was dog friendly (we travel with our fur pups) and equipped with a doggy poop trash can. We used the water from the well spigot a lot and even the kids had no problem getting the water for our camp. We saw some beautiful stars in the night sky and enjoyed the view of all the gorgeous trees. We did hear some road noise but it wasn't bad and it honestly did not take away from our experience whatsoever. Very good location close to Forks, the beaches, and some quick convenience stores. The whole family agreed we will be coming back to make more great memories here!

Super cute campground the sites were perfect and the bathroom was clean! Dale wasn’t able to be there during my stay but all of there instructions were super clear and he was super friendly on the phone when I spoke to him. We will definitely be coming back here again

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shangri La Push.
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The natural fencing is stunning, and truly a work of art.
They do have WiFi, but the signal does not go far into the tent area. We didn’t need much, standing by the main house to check on the kids etc with a WiFi call was perfectly fine. If you’re “glamping” and planning to stream a movie have an alternate.
I will say - I’m ashamed at the other Hip Campers on the property with us.
The folks in the site before us left an air mattress box filled with refuse and rotten food just behind a tree, despite the listing stating it’s pack in/pack out. We took it with our garbage, but people need to be more respectful of property.
A large group violated the county wide burn ban daily, burning wood fires throughout their time on the property.
Hip camp is interesting - but if this is how other hip campers treat the properties I will continue supporting state parks instead.

Loved the private tv campsites. Very tucked in the woods. Free shower was lovely! Hot hot water and clean. Didn’t get a chance to meet the hosts but everyone else said how nice they were. Only a few miles to 3 beautiful world famous beaches. Close enough to Forks to get groceries and do laundry. Thanks Dale!

It’s great for very small units.
Great to have a flush toilet that’s was clean
Wasn’t crazy that a huge spider greeted me at the check in point but it’s the great out doors.
Nice and level. Other campers were respectful of quiet times. Overall nice place.

Easy to find, clean toilets, private and serene campsites. Internet didn’t reach our spot, unfortunately, but that’s the only “knock” on this place (was great to unplug and there was ample internet by the main office).

We may have just hit an odd time as most of the reviews are positive. We arrived and no one was there after receiving an email the day before saying someone would greet us at check-in. (Once we were home, I did see an email from the host the day OF checkin, saying they may be gone, but did not receive that until I checked messages upon our return - would have helped if we had gotten that the day before). We figured it out and all the RV sites were very nice and secluded, although once we set up, we realized ours had an area by the firepit littered with orange peels. We picked up most of them (leave it better than you found it). The bathroom was not clean upon our arrival. Trashcan almost full and bugs in shower and on floor. The outdoor shower was out of service. The portapotty closest to us was clean, but had a nasty message with a phone number to send pics to inside the door. Over the next few days we kept waiting for the bathroom to be cleaned, but it was not so we assumed host was not onsite. There was a burn ban in effect but the first night of our stay someone in the tent area had a campfire. We are campfire people, so this definitely irked us. The shower temperature was definitely hit or miss - and we did read the directions. The location was perfect, beaches nearby are amazing. This was our first Hipcamp experience, so I want to be fair if this is normal. Just an honest review.

This is a well laid out property with the right amount of infrastructure. We adventure by Motorcycle pulling a small trailer and use a tent. We enjoy RV parks with nature next to amenities Including water and power in our site.
Dale had plenty of good directions which made our arrival & self registration quick and easy.
Plenty of room in each site and yet there is plenty of native vegetation between sites. So you're not on top of your neighbors.
The only wish I will make is for a second bathroom so the line is only 1/2 as long. If you're in your RV this is less of an issue. We were here in mid September and the park wasn't full, I would guess in the peak season it would get much busier.
Convenient location in the NW corner of the state and many of the Olympic (Park & Nat'l Forest) recreation spots are a just short drive away.
Hipcamp seems to have a decent interface and large selection of sites and hosts. I will be interested to see how it helps us in the years to come.

Camping here was so easy and smooth. Instructions were very clear and everything was exactly as expected. Other campers were very friendly and my partner thoroughly enjoyed their first camping experience. Highly recommend this site if you want something between glamping and really roughing it. The toilets, showers, wifi all made for a great first experience camping for them.

We really enjoyed meeting Dale and staying on this well maintained campground. The campsites are spacious with a lot of privacy, and it was very conveniently located for visiting the beaches of La Push, Rialto beach and the Hoh rainforest.

This was our very first camping experience and it couldn’t have gone better. The property was clean, peaceful, and offered great privacy in the middle of nature. The host was very responsive and provided all the information a first-timer would need, which made us feel well-prepared. Plus, the location is just a short distance from Rialto Beach, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

We loved to stay at Shangri La Push. The campsite was surrounded by beautiful natural scenery—tall trees, a peaceful river nearby. There was no shortage of things to do. We went hiking during the day to La Push Beach, Second Beach, Mora Beach. Also, it's only one hour drive from Hoh Rain Forest and Tree of Life. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo campers looking for a nature getaway.
