🏕Our Camp is situated on about 5 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and Semi-Privacy. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.
Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193, you are very close. Our camp will be on the left.

We require guests to arrive at our camp with an empty black waste water holding tank. Some Rest Areas along the I-5 freeway have free dump stations. There is 1 at Camp David Jr. We encourage travelers to Google for more options.
🚻There are 7 restroom pods that stay open for our guests to use 24/7. Hot Showers: $5.00 per guest, located in 3 of the restrooms directly behind our camp main office. Cleaned daily

Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington. It's home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River with a swimming hole, & a short distance further to the Pacific Crest Trail.
A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River.
Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property.
Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. We are as off grid & sustainable as possible- while no electricity or running water is available at the individual sites, we provide battery or solar operated lighting, a container of water for each site.

We are right next to the Marblemount Boat Launch and within an easy walk into town if you want to visit the local restaurants or need camping gear. Our property has five tent campsites on the river as well as a 26' glamping dome (previously used for artic research) completely painted with a galaxy of the night sky. A converted antique hay trailer turned tiny house with an 8' ceiling loft with 3-way views of the forest and river, deck, and private "magic spot" on the Cascade River.
The Lil Bit O Heaven Campground is the perfect base camp for your summer adventure! Firewood is available onsite most of the summer. Fresh, clean drinking water, permanent bathrooms and a private shower are available for all campers. An outdoor (completely private) shower is available for those who book the tiny house.
Please note that you must follow any local fire bans. Please check the fire conditions PRIOR to making a campfire.
Please note that there are areas where you can get directly to the side of the Cascade River, and the river is swift and dangerous! It is not safe for swimming and no safe for unattended children and/or pets.

This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane.
The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping.
Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have!
We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings.
Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area.
We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.

Great location and Teresa is very helpful and communicative. She gave recommendations for Devils Punch Bowl and it was a very nice hike with beautiful views of lake Crescent. I had a peaceful stay with the place to myself.

I had a great experience in the campground. I stayed in the tent area, which was tucked away from the RV area. Unfortunately, the sites were pretty damn close to each other, but I was lucky enough to have the area all for myself. The campground had a clubhouse with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms with a shower. As a woman travelling solo, I felt safe the whole time I was there. Lots of families everywhere with kids playing and laughing. It was a great experience. I would most definitely come back!
Oh, and they guided me to my campsite in a golf cart. I thought that was a pretty cool touch. Very friendly and proactive staff!

Nice location with 30A power, water and sewer. The hostess was nice and treated us well. The restrooms and showers were nice. There an open room where a large group can prepare and eat meals.

My daughter, dog and I stayed at site 2 and had a great experience. Tyla is friendly and welcoming, we met the goats and chickens, got some farm fresh eggs and enjoyed the area. Swimming hole nearby is great, the Falls Creek Falls hike is incredible. The land is beautiful. The dome tent was nice and very clean and cozy.

We loved camping in the forest at the John Wayne Resort! Everyone working there was very helpful and friendly and camp host, Bill, gave us great suggestions on where to ride our bikes (he also had great stories about other places to explore!) The bathroom/showers were very clean and the water stayed hot 🙂
The resort is kept clean (including the honey buckets) and well stocked with wood and kindling at the community firepits. We enjoyed the waterfront right across the street from the resort and loved seeing all the rabbits on the property.
We would definitely visit again and ride more of the Olympic Discovert Trail - access to the trail is a short ride from the resort. We highly recommend John Wayne when visiting Sequim!

We enjoyed our time on this property! The tent and sleeping accommodations were very comfortable and stylish. It was very quiet and restful. Everyone slept very well. The property is well maintained, and Tyla was accommodating of a couple things during our stay. What we found strange was there was no access to a water source that we could fill our own drinking water containers. The host offered one free gallon jug, and the rest you had to buy or bring. Our children loved the goats and chickens. It was fun to wake up to rooster crowing.

Great place for jumping off and exploring the Olympics. Beautiful large camp sites, clean bathroom/porta-potty and a very nice new shower. Neighbors rooters do get to screaming early, but host has earplugs available. This host has taken a lot of care in their property and it shows. They have thoughtfully and thoroughly described everything you need to know about the place and they have done a great deal to make it a wonderful place to camp. Teresa has many suggestions that you only get from a local. It is important to note that she does tell u that the fire is comunal so take note. All the sites are large and comfortable. You can’t go wrong here!

I really loved staying here. We had deer and bunny visitors. Someone came by each night and dropped off firewood. The proximity to the marina is really nice also. The list of amenities is long. The grounds are beautiful and the shower was well worth every quarter. Thank you for having us!

Perfect size campground for our 6-person tent. It was a little closer to another campsite than we’d typically prefer but there were no issues. Showers/bathrooms were spacious and clean, which is a huge plus (most places the bathrooms are eh)! Super close to Hurricane Ridge area of Olympic NP and Port Angeles, while still feeling tucked away and secluded.

Chris's land was incredible, so many things to do and beauty everywhere. A great spot for jumping off to see all the things in the area. The site itself was perfect for our car camping needs, nestled into the trees so it felt private but did not feel cramped. Bathrooms were super clean! Will definitely be back when we are in the area

If you like friendly and very helpful staff, a large grassy park like area to play, on-site convenience store, dog friendly environment, cute Bunny rabbits roaming arounds, campsites with water view (we moved to RV#4), extremely clean rest rooms and a marina with boats, several community fire pits with free firewood, a small park with an amazing view and a restaurant ... you will like John Wayne's Waterfront Resort! I really enjoyed the relaxing and friendly vibe and will visit again. JSB

We stayed in one of the tent sites along the side of the camp. They are conveniently located next to the restroom/showers and each had a private fire ring. The hosts came around and checked to see if we needed anything several times each day which was appreciated.
The camp also has plenty of outdoor activities/games for families/kids to use. From volleyball/badminton to cornhole and horse shoes.
The camp was in a perfect location for Dungeness Wildlife Refuge and Hurricane Ridge. It was a little far for things on the west side of Olympic Park (Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach) but the amenities made it a better choice than some of the closer westside rustic campsites.
