Our restrooms are cleaned regularly. Due to the damp Pacific Northwest climate, some shower caulking may show mildew staining despite routine cleaning and sanitizing.

We live in a beautiful location! The main attraction is the outdoors. The large Ponderosa pines and oak trees surrounding the safari tent fill the air with a scent that some say smells like vanilla. Birds chirp, deer graze, and squirrels gather food throughout the day. Sit on the porch and watch it all happen—it truly is relaxing!
I want to mention that the stargazing here is amazing! Simply press the power button on the back of the solar panel to turn off the lights for a better view of the night sky. Please turn them back on when you're finished, if you remember.
Be sure to visit Goldendale Observatory. It boasts one of the largest public telescopes in the nation, and admission is free.

Boggan's Oasis is in the SE corner of Washington state, right on the breathtaking Grande Ronde River. Visitors can arrive by driving to the bottom of Rattlesnake Grade (WA-129), or the bottom of Buford Grade (OR-3). These two curvacious roads are extremely popular rides for motorcyclists and bicyclists nationally. Visitors may also arrive by water (rafts, driftboats, jetboats, kayaks, etc) coming downriver from Oregon, or upriver from the Snake River (WA/ID). Many other unpaved roads will lead guests to our canyon, which creates great opportunities for off-road vehicle adventures!
The Grande Ronde River, which drains much of northeast Oregon's Union and Wallowa counties, is fed by snowpack in the Elkhorn Mountains. The Wallowa River, a major tributary to the Grande Ronde, headwaters in the Wallowa Mountains, mostly within the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Twenty-two miles from Boggan's Oasis, the Grande Ronde River flows into the mighty Snake River. The river is surrounded by steep, rugged canyon walls that rise 3000 to 4000 feet above the river level. Dense conifer forests blend into grassy slopes set off by scattered conifer "stringers." Called "The Land of Winding Waters" by Native Americans, the river is home to rainbow trout, dolly varden, whitefish, squawfish, suckers, bass, and steelhead. Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, bear, bald eagles, and a variety of smaller animals and birds can be seen daily. And yes, there are rattlesnakes!
Fishing, hunting, hiking, all kinds of boating/floating, offroad vehicle riding, and animal/bird watching are beyond expectations in this area. Seasonally, guests can also successfully gather a variety of mushrooms and berries while on one of the many nearby hiking trails. Many of these short walks also lead to incredible, far-reaching views of the Blue Mountains, Wenaha wildlife sanctuary, Hells Canyon, and the tri-state area. In the hotter summer months, the swimming hole below the Boggan's Bridge is a popular way to cool off.

AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 Frenchies also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending from Enumclaw to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. We have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a large milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

Want the off-grid feeling without giving up all the comforts of home? Come stay at our little retired DNR Fire Watch Cabin in Trout Lake, WA, tucked right at the foot of Mt. Adams.
The cabin sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 kids, with a queen bed and a fold-out cot tucked underneath. It's true off-grid, with solar and battery lights and propane heat, but you're not totally roughing it. Just a short walk to the barn you'll find a full bathroom with shower and a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee pot, air fryer), reserved just for cabin guests. There's a porta-potty right next to the cabin too, so no midnight walks to the barn. We provide all linens and towels and can set you up with some basic cooking utensils if you need. If you need to get some work done while you're here, we have Starlink and reliable Wi-Fi.
There's a barbecue right outside your cabin for your use, plus a fire pit (campfires welcome whenever there's no burn ban - we are in one right now Aug-Sept).
This is an off grid cabin, and thus there is no AC. We have installed screens on the windows so they all can be opened, but it can It can get quite warm there when it gets into the 80s. Please consider this when making your booking during higher temperature seasons.
You're not just near the outdoors here. You're at the front door of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, 1.3 million acres of old-growth forest, alpine lakes, lava tubes, and glaciers wrapped around Mt. Adams. Here's what that looks like season to season from our front yard:
Summer: Prime time in the forest. Hike, swim, fish, and mountain bike; the Sleeping Beauty trail is minutes away for a big-view climb. Cool off in the Guler Ice Caves, a 2,000-foot lava tube where you can wander past frozen stalactites and stalagmites even in the heat of summer, or explore the neighboring Cheese Caves, an old natural cheese cellar you climb down into. Chase the reflection shot at Takhlakh Lake, where crystal-clear water mirrors Mt. Adams, or spend a day at Goose Lake and Council Lake. For the ambitious, Mt. Adams offers sport climbing routes and the South Climb up the glaciated summit, one of the most iconic experiences in the whole forest. And you're still just 30 minutes from White Salmon and Hood River for wineries when you want a break from the trail.
Fall: My favorite season. Unbeatable colors through the forest, the Hood River fishery has been on fire lately, and it's a beautiful, quiet time to wander the backcountry as the crowds thin out.
Winter: A snow playground. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing straight into the national forest, plus we're sled-friendly: ample parking for snowmobile trailers and a shop where you can wrench on your sleds. Or just bring a good book and hibernate.
Spring: Gorgeous up here, and turkey season is a favorite. Wildflower meadows start opening up in the high country, and there's room for boats and trailers if you're headed to Drano Lake (about 30 min) for springer salmon. If you like exploring, the Big Lava Bed, a 12,500-acre crater of crevasses, small caves, and rock formations, is a wild, otherworldly day trip about 40 minutes out from us.
If you are coming up to Mount Adams or Gifford Pinchot to mountain bike or ride dirt bikes, we do have an adjacent workshop and a full set of tools. If you need to wrench on those or your snowmobiles in the winter, let us know in advance and we can arrange access to the workshop for you.
We can arrange rentals of e-mountain bikes if you wish. Just let us know in advance.

1. We're sure a lot of Hipcampers look for seclusion and peace and quiet, but that's not what you'll get at our park. Although our sites are spacious, we're located along busy State Highway 14 and there's also a train coming through at all hours of the day and night (far more often than we like). Light sleepers, please ask our host for complimentary earplugs or bring your own.
2. We're a rural park with gravel roads, grass, weeds, and trees and not a fancy RV Park with immaculate grounds and manicured lawns. Sorry.

True glamping experience! 2 Cabins have 1/2 baths and group fire pit and I site has separate bath and private fire pit. All sites have access to a shower. The Village is located right at base-camp for Mt Rainier with private access to the Nisqually River and 10 minutes to the entrance of the National Forest. Everything you could want for camping, a romantic getaway, or climbing/hiking Mt Rainier.

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area.
We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.
We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

North Cascades National Park is a picturesque 1 1/2 hr drive away. The Centennial Trail, the Boulder River hike and The Outback Kangaroo farm are nearby.

1 night at Simple Roots Ranch
Absolutely beautiful property spread across over four acres, with swings, private forest trails, a gorgeous garden, and a cozy, secluded campfire area! My boyfriend and I booked the Potting Shed at the very last minute, but we were still welcomed with the most amazing hospitality. The campfire was already started for us when we arrived, and they had everything we needed to make s’mores! In the morning, we were treated to freshly baked blackberry muffins, fig jam, and fig leaf tea (all grown from their garden!) and received tons of great recommendations for exploring the town. Every little detail made our stay feel so special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We would absolutely love to come back!

Cozy little place nestled amongst beautiful vegetable and flower gardens. The entryway is an arched walkway with grapes and hops. Hosts very clearly put their hearts into this property. Highly recommended. 👍

2 nights at The Khohay Farm
This was the loveliest cabin! It had everything I needed and so much more. It was cozy, had so many thoughtful touches, quiet, clean, and beautiful! Highly recommend and can’t wait to be back. Prettiest outhouse you’ll ever come across too. Read that in someone else’s comment and didn’t know what to think till I saw it for myself. Everything about this place is thoughtfully designed and put together. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and sharing your farm and produce with me :)

Weekend Trip to Starlit Glamping LLC
I needed place to take my son for the weekend, this location worked out well. The hosts are friendly and eager to make sure you have a smooth, easy trip. I was there just one night, but given the availabile facilities, a week would be easy. If you have a telescope, bring it! The night sky there is incredible. It dropped to 48F the night we were there, we brought cold weather sleeping bags but the comfy bed had sufficient bedding to keep you warm.

Stayed Oct 1–4 on a Waterview RV Site (full hookup, 30-amp) in our 20-foot Sprinter. Backed right in overlooking Sequim Bay — the view alone was worth it. Everything worked exactly as promised: power, water, sewer, cable, and Wi-Fi, zero issues across three nights.
Tracy was a great host — responsive, easy check-in. Left feeling like we'd found a gem. We'd absolutely stay here again.

We had a nice stay at this marina. Our spot was picturesque, looking out over the water and distant hills, lots of shore birds, very peaceful. The hosts were knowledgeable about the area, fun, and good communicators. The amenities were great--nice heated bathrooms and showers, a laundry room with book/video library, and a few fire pits and play areas.

This is a great location for beach access, surfing, and just being next to the ocean. We ended up staying here multiple times on our trip because we liked it so much! Relaxing atmosphere, nice staff, and clean. You have quarter operating showers and laundry nice bathrooms and beach access. Tent sites, RV sites, and cabins.

The adorable, well kept historic cabin located in a gorgeous area, is so homey and comfy. But best of all the host, James, is so service oriented and genuinely strives to make your visit perfect. There's a cabin journal, and the above sentiments are documented in previous entries. James loves meeting people, making him an awesome host. He also is sensitive to folks who prefer complete privacy. An upscale "fire cabin" lookout experience, with bedding, battery operated lights, gas heater, separate bath/shower/kitchenette with electricity, and a battery operated turntable in the cabin, with an excellent vinyl collection! Deluxe!

Such a sweet spot we booked a second night just because we loved it so much! Vibes are excellent, common spaces are clean and stocked, you can tell the owners put a lot of care and consideration to their space. Super affordable price for all the amenities you get. This is by far the most beautiful campground I've ever been to and I'm 63 years old. It was clean well run and the sculptures and amenities surpassed my expectations. I would recommend this wholeheartedly but only to select people that I know would respect the place as much as I do.

Dog was very happy with the space! Even met the resident sheep. Host is very thorough with his walk through. Sadly the aesthetically pleasing record wall had to be removed due to there being so great of a collection (so good guests were stealing them) but overall we enjoyed our spot that faced away from the rest of the property and made us feel suited while overlooking the sunset.
