The host was unresponsive to my message communicating a roadside emergency (flat tire on rental car at night) on the way to the campsite. They never followed up to any of my further messages, and when Hipcamp reached out on my behalf a week later, the host denied any refund for these circumstances.

A magical night in the rainforest
We loved our stay at Glamping Site 5 and wish we could have stayed longer! (We stayed for just one night before heading to the Sol Duc trailhead across the street for a backpacking trip.) The location and amenities were perfect for our needs—it was so helpful to have water, restrooms and shower, electricity, and even a kitchen right next fire to our site. The campsites are just as magical as they look in the photos, and we lived all the carved mushrooms, wooden benches, fairy lights, and other unique touches at this Hipcamp. Also, the directions provided by the hosts were really helpful, and they were looking out to make sure guests were able to find their sites, and they made sure we made it to the right place. We definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Lovely spot! The campsite is whimsical and welcoming. Location is a great launchpad for much hiking/exploring in the area. It was nice to have access to the outdoor kitchen amenities and a hot shower. Highly recommend.

Quiet and peaceful!
I had a great experience here. Would not hesitate to reserve again. The retreat was right across from the entrance to Sol Duc where I needed to complete a trail run of the High Divide loop. Location was tops for me.

Loved it
This was one of the most amazing campground I have ever been at. Beautiful and with a great host, Seath. He was so helpful and kind when we finally arrived after driving for an hour in the wrong direction. We had conversations every time we saw each other, even share gulyas recipe! We LOVED him! There was very good firewood to buy. We cooked our meals in our site on coal and wood. Our site was secluded but close to all the fantastic amenities they offer. Full, open kitchen with amazing utensils and cookware, fantastic drinking water from their own well, clean bathrooms and toilets, little gazebos to sit and enjoy your surroundings. Wood sculptures and little Japanese bridges across the creek. The whole area is magical. Simply beautiful nature with giant trees, moss and ferns, next to some major trails deeper into the forest. All the campers were happy, friendly and helpful. Quiet evenings too! Me and my old friend had the best time there on our trip from Los Angeles and back. Be aware that there is no Internet or cell phone service but that felt good too. So make your important call before you enter. We are really happy that we had a chance to stay there for 3 days. Thank you so much!

This place is pure magic and so whimsical. Loved the wood carvings hidden in the woods and all the amenities. My site was very secluded and quiet in the trees.
