We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21.

Great, peaceful spot for putting down your tent. Felt very private and had good flat spots, mossy trees and a chorus of birds. The walk to the river was wonderful and we could pretend we were alone there. The outhouse was well stocked and while we didn't have a picnic table, I bet there would be one soon as the other sites seemed to have one. Very close to Forks and amenities. Would absolutely come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Rest & River. We stayed in campsite #4 and loved how private and secluded it felt. But still close to the bathroom and main road to get to Forks and Quileute Res. It was a bit muddy from the rain but that didn’t bother us. Beautiful walk to the river. It seems like this place is only going to get better with time. Woke up to so many birds singing and it was beautiful! Would stay again! Thank you Mike!

I camped here during a trip to Forks and Port Angeles with my friend who is from out of the state. We absolutely loved our time here and found the land to be very beautiful with wonderful hand carven wooden structures. I would 100% comeback again. Our site was 4B and it wasn’t an issue for us but I will say the platform for the tent is right next to the camps little road. Not too many people walked by but it was definitely one of the least private areas in the site. Outside of that’s there were all of the amenities and more! A full kitchen to cook, a shower with soap, shampoo conditioner and even towels. I wish I had known about the pizza oven because it seemed super simple to use! All you need is to bring some pizza making supplies and it should be good to go!

This place was super nice. It’s beautiful, clean and was a great place to go with kids. I didn’t know I needed ping pong while camping but it was really awesome to have. It is also a pretty great location for getting to the different biomes in the area bc it’s pretty central considering Olympic has no roads thru its interior. I was a little worried about noise bc it is so close to 101 but it’s not a busy a road and the topography and forest dull the sound. So it’s not something you really notice too much. I would definitely go back. This place is special.

Such a beautiful campground!
I believe there was some vacation or double booking not completely sure but someone happened to be in our campsite when we arrived, and the owners were so sweet and still accommodated us and gave us a new campsite!
We still end up having an amazing time, would definitely come again!

We loved our stay. What a nice place to rest at the end of long days hiking and beach going. This place is only a few minutes from a few amazing beach stops. Clean bathroom and showers! If we are ever back in this area we hope to enjoy this campground again!

An amazing campsite. It was private and like camping in the HoH forest itself. So much moss and wonderful trees. Reminded me of the Fangorn Forest from Lord of the Rings!

This is a magical spot of you're comfortable with bringing all your own water and composting toilets. It's quite, except the frogs and gentle rush of the river, it's got several nice camp pads, a great fire pit, and is close to LaPush. We didn't have any trouble with wild critters either, which was a shock. Highly recommend.

The campsite was really beautiful, the wood carvings and fairy lights really did add to the experience, the campsite was right across the street from the national forest which was super convenient. Our campsite was 5B and was really secluded which was nice for having a slightly larger group and not having to worry about bugging others, I would definitely come back and recommend staying here for your visit!

Overview
About
This beautifully kept, remote park lies on the northwestern tip of Washington State. Thanks to 140-160 inches of dense annual rainfall, the thickly forested 123-acre camping park is lush with vegetation. Campsites right along the Bogachiel River make this a great base camp if you're touring the western Olympic Peninsula.
Soak up the green-enshrouded rainforest terrain on the park's two short trails. Pick up the Bogachiel River Trail that goes into the National Forest right across the street. If it's summer, float the park's small section of river.
The small campground has 36 clean and well-maintained, relatively private standard sites. Six sites have power and water. There are restrooms with showers and a dump station.
The park's campground and two day-use areas are open year-round. Book a reservation for May 15-Sept. 15; everything else is first-come, first-served. The trick here is to score a site next to the river so it drowns out the traffic noise from nearby Hwy. 101.

This site (39) was great! East access to the river and bathrooms. The ONLY downside is the close proximity to the road - lots of road noise throughout the day and evening.

The best showers I've seen at any campground, nice hot water and clean. Some spaces are nice and private while some are more exposed, so choose wisely. The river is gorgeous and the forest is incredible but the road noise at some spots can be an occasional irritant. Great location to visit the surrounding hikes from.
