We are located in Marblemount, WA along the Cascade river. Every site we have you can hear the river and walk to in less that 5 minutes. There is an amazing rocky beach along the river with the view of mountains all around.
We are located 4 minutes from the town of Marblemount were there is 2 gas stations with some food and drink items, propane and a small hardware section year round. Marblemount has 3 restaurants open in the summer. The town also a post office.
We are 15 minutes from the North Cascades National Park and an entrance to the Pacific Crest Trail.
We offer fire wood ($5.00 a bundle), propane fire pits ($15.00 a night, please request ahead via messaging to Heather ) and in season vegetables (price varies depending). You can pay cash or Venmo on site.
Please be aware that we have a Firework show for the 4th of July.

Welcome to Lil Bit O' Heaven Camping! Here you will find beautiful and unique places to camp right on the Cascade River, approximately 3 minutes outside of Marblemount, WA. We are right next to the Marblemount Boat Launch and within an easy walk into town if you want to visit the local restaurants or need camping gear. Our property has five tent campsites on the river as well as a 26' glamping dome (previously used for artic research) completely painted with a galaxy of the night sky. A converted antique hay trailer turned tiny house with an 8' ceiling loft with 3-way views of the forest and river, deck, and private "magic spot" on the Cascade River.
The Lil Bit O Heaven Campground is the perfect base camp for your summer adventure! Firewood is available onsite most of the summer. Fresh, clean drinking water, permanent bathrooms and a private shower are available for all campers. An outdoor (completely private) shower is available for those who book the tiny house.
Please note that you must follow any local fire bans. Please check the fire conditions PRIOR to making a campfire.
Please note that there are areas where you can get directly to the side of the Cascade River, and the river is swift and dangerous! It is not safe for swimming and no safe for unattended children and/or pets.

Our 28 acres are located in between Maple Falls and Glacier, Wa, directly on Mt Baker Hwy on the way to Beautiful Mt Baker.
Ben and Tyne run a chemical free farm, on which we raise 7 and 1/2 acres of veggie and flower. 15 acres of pastureland on which we raise pasture raised chicken, as well as biannual lamb and beef.
The remainder of our land is breathtaking Pacific Northwest forest that is boarded by the Bay to Baker trail.
Our campsites range between walk in wooded sites, and car camping sites that are open field sites next to the tree line. We provide wagons in our cart corral area to make it more convenient for the very short walk in. ( no more then a 200 foot walk in)
We have a very nice composting outhouse and hand-washing station. We do not have water for drinking or a dishwashing sink, but if you are in a pinch just ask Ben or Tyne and we can help you out.
We want all of our campers happy, comfy, and to have the best time here. :)
We have a beautiful cedar grove to enjoy for lounging and picnics. The Bay to Baker trail borders our property, so it is just steps away and includes a 45 min round walk to a quaint little waterfall (maple falls). As well as a nature loop trail. You can also walk the other direction on the trail over a boardwalk. This direction walks along the back of the farm and allows you to see the veggie fields from a distance. Yofu can continue on the bay to baker trail for a nice walk.
There is a conservation area, just a quarter mile drive down the road. With access to the Nooksack river, that includes several nice swimming spots and a couple nice walking trials.
Silver Lake is just 3.8 miles away. It has a great recreation area, fun for the whole family.
Just a heads up , you will probably lose service on your drive up here. But you will get service back when you are here.
We suggest putting the map in your phone before you leave. Google maps will take you just past the farm, and apple maps will stop you too soon.
So you are looking for the large kragnes family farms sign in the driveway. pull in and follow the camping signs to the back.

Also, we just finished making an amazing nature walk along the river, where you can find blackberries, huckleberries, salmon berries, and even apples, (depending on the time of year). Retreat to relax at Chuckanut Hills Farm and Campground, a 20-acre energy-regenerative, off-grid family farm nestled at the foot of Anderson Mountain and surrounded by thousands of acres of forest. 30 minutes south of Bellingham in the Chuckanut Mountains, the only finger of the Cascade Mountain Range that reaches all the way
to the Salish Sea.
This wooded forest is part of the Puget Lowland Forest Eco-Region. These hills were the native home of the Saquantch people, a Salish coast tribe that fished and hunted the mountains surrounding Lake Whatcom. They lived in long lodge homes and were later pushed out by the invading Lummi Tribe. The Lummi Tribe was later pushed out by Western logging companies, and the entire mountainous region was heavily logged for a number of years.
Where our farm now rests was once the second of many logging camps built by Ed English, and he cut our gravel farm road in 1900; a railroad ran through the lower part of our property, taking logs from Lake Whatcom down to the little boom town of Seattle.
Our intention while being caretakers of this ancestral land is to restore native plants, raise heirloom produce and heritage animals, and provide a restful nature paradise for people looking to spend time in the outdoors.

The property gently slopes into a lush, moss-covered forest where towering evergreens create a peaceful and surreal atmosphere. Bring a hammock and suspend it between the trees, enjoy your morning coffee beneath the forest canopy, rest among the thick, pillow-like moss carpeting the forest floor, or simply unwind while listening to the birds and the gentle sounds of the surrounding forest.
Although there are neighboring properties on both sides, the dense forest provides a surprising sense of privacy. One neighboring cabin is rarely occupied, and the other is tucked away enough that I have yet to see anyone there during my visits. Most guests find that the campsite feels quiet, secluded, and immersed in nature.
This is a true off-grid camping experience, so please plan accordingly.

• Trash service (please pack in and pack out)
Guests should bring everything needed for a comfortable, self-sufficient stay.

Looking for an ideal family getaway spot? With our unique location nestled in the foothills of Stewart Mt and the peaceful Squalicum Valley. Rusty Ranch Tree Farm offers 110 acres of meadows and forest. Our location provides easy access to much of our local recreation options and is only 10 min east of Bellingham. The camp area is spacious and can easily accommodate your family and even a couple of friends. Scattered trees offer shade, and large grassy areas provide ample space to roam.
Rusty Ranch Tree Farm is dedicated to "Eduction through Exploration" where we strive to provide your family and friends with more than just a place to amp, but also a place to experience nature and learn about forestry, farming and making maple syrup from trees right here on our farm..
Hike the several miles of nature trails on the hillside and explore our 65 acres of certified forest. Placards on the nature trail are part of our self-guided tour and provide information about forestry and the plants and animals that call this their home. Wander through the old growth groves, walk the 50' boardwalk and see the magical Fern Ridge. There are abundant wildflowers and seasonal berries to pick, as well as a variety of fall apples and pears in the old orchard available for self harvest. You can even purchase a tree to take home and plant.
Other farm experiences include a guided interactive nature tour for your group, a class on making maple syrup, or experience farm life and come "hang with the hens" or enjoy some interactive "pony time." We also offer the opportunity to purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables brought to your site. Don't forget to stop by the Snack Shack for fresh cinnamon rolls, a self serve coffee bar, ice cream bars, snacks, drinks, apparel and locally made gifts.

Overall Campsite #1 is easy to find, ideal if you have dogs who enjoy a big field to play in and if you have a larger family or group it works great. The four campsites are near each other and on our night site 2 and 3 were a group that all combined onto site 2. Site 4 had just one camper. We moved away from our fire pit and that gave us more space from the group. We just didn’t have a fire to enjoy but we did have more space. If you’re looking for privacy there really isn’t much but if you’re looking to escape town this works. The river is close and the moon rise was stunning! Depending when you visit the river will be varying in level and typically will not be one you go swimming in. There were a fewer areas of slower water which we did let the dogs splash around in. It is nice just to sit by and enjoy the sound. The fall colors are beautiful.

We loved Chom’s RV campground! We stayed at site D1 which had an incredible view of the river and cascades. It was quiet, private, and serene. Well enough room for the four of us. The bathrooms were modern and incredibly clean.
A couple of notes about our site: there was a large dropoff to the river as noted in the listing, so probably no kids at our specific site. This site is also quite far from the bathrooms if that is important to you! It was no problem at all for us.
We will definitely be coming back to stay!

Absolutely great stay! Super close to both the park and also Marblemount for when we forgot something and had to go to the convenience store. The site was so pretty. It was fun to watch the fish jumping in the river. The bathrooms were also great and very clean. Highly recommend and we will definitely be staying here again

Dog was very happy with the space! Even met the resident sheep. Host is very thorough with his walk through. Sadly the aesthetically pleasing record wall had to be removed due to there being so great of a collection (so good guests were stealing them) but overall we enjoyed our spot that faced away from the rest of the property and made us feel suited while overlooking the sunset.

Pros: quiet, felt safe, close to National Park, near a river and close to town. Cons: difficult to park a large RV. Its better to back in from main road like others with Big Rigs have said. If your under 35 feet you will not have a problem. RV spot needs a little cleanup with old hose and plastic in campsite.

10/10 would recommend. American Alps Base Camp was a cool spot which was off the main road while still being near enough for quick access. Site 1 was spacious and well maintained. Would be interested in the sites near the water for the future! Trevor was quick to respond to messages, especially when an obstacle arose. We’re grateful to him for the accommodation during our stay.

We took one of their last minute campervan only spots and pulled in around 8:45pm. The host was so kind and met us out front to show us where to park and tell us how to access the bathrooms. The fern shower was magical. Loved all the informational signage. Overall a perfect place to crash after a long day in the mountains.

We selected this small campground because it was right off Hwy 20 in Marblemount, very convenient to town and nearby hiking. We stayed in the Riverside tent area at Group sites 1 & 2, and enjoyed a quiet evening with just the sound from the nearby river, as the other sites were not occupied. The campground was clean, and had water, flush toilets, a picnic table, and a fire ring. It was exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay!
