We had an absolutely perfect stay, the place was incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up. Beth, our host, welcomed us so kindly and made us feel comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed every part of the experience, felt completely relaxed, and left already talking about coming back. We loved it so much.

There are too many great things to say about this lil slice of paradise. Besides feeling so welcomed, we felt so at ease and comfortable being there. We had 3 amazing and peaceful sleeps, but waking up to enjoy our coffees outside with the views and sounds of nature, were pure bliss, also watching our silly Boxer pup run around the huge field following the birds around, was great too. 🤣 Lots of laughs playing in the field with dogs and our grandchild. It’s huge. You could have a whole beautiful and magical wedding there!! Pups loved the swimming in the awesome water area and all the walking on the trails. Next time … cause there will be a next time, we will bring our paddle boards. I could keep going on and on but all in all if you want to have an amazing STRESS FREE camping trip, then this is the spot you want to book. Did I mention how welcoming and amazing the hosts are? They are truly one of kind camping hosts!! Now for us to figure out when we are going back 😊😊😊. And a big thank you to the Hosts, we feel very lucky and appreciative for you to share your lil slice of paradise.

Peaceful Meadow Camping for Fams

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here with another family. The meadow setting is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly spacious, giving four young children (all under 8) the freedom to run, explore, invent games, and enjoy being kids. They especially loved making little adventures out of walking to the pond together, and by the end of the trip none of them wanted to leave. The natural setting was a highlight as well—swallows swooped overhead throughout the day, and each morning we woke to a chorus of birdsong that made the whole experience feel calm, restorative, and far removed from everyday life. We were equally impressed by how well cared for the campground is. The porta-potties were exceptionally clean, and the nearby flushing restrooms were spotless and convenient. The hosts were kind and thoughtful, even stopping by with extra firewood available for purchase when we needed it. If you’re planning a visit, we highly recommend a stop at Breadfarm only 10 min away in downtown. One practical tip: while there is some shade, Site #1 is fairly open, so a pop-up canopy or other sun shelter is worth bringing. We left feeling refreshed, and grateful for nature.

If I could give Hobson Meadows 100 out of 10 stars, I absolutely would! This property is truly breathtaking, with so much natural beauty to take in. From the birds singing in the morning and the frogs around the pond, to the gorgeous scenery throughout the property, every moment here feels peaceful and refreshing. Even the farm dogs add to the charm and make the experience feel even more special. One of the things we loved most was the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. You feel completely tucked away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature and tranquility, yet you're still just a short drive from major stores, restaurants, and anything else you may need during your stay. It's truly the best of both worlds. What truly sets Hobson Meadows apart, however, are Beth and Matt. They are genuinely two of the kindest, most caring people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They go above and beyond to accommodate their guests' needs, even delivering a BBQ grill directly to our site so we could enjoy our stay even more!!!!! The bathrooms are adorable, clean, and well-maintained, and the entire property is exceptionally well-kept. Despite the large size of the grounds, there is little to no trash anywhere, showing the pride and care they put into this place. Hobson Meadows is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience. ❤️

Had an amazing stay here! Rented a yurt for my mom and sister, and camped with my husband and dog. Awesome dog friendly property, we really loved having a fire at night and are already talking about making plans to come back soon!

I only stayed for one night, but I had a great time. The land is very quiet compared to the bustle of the city and it is a nice change of scenery. There was a good amount of space between sites and the facilities were well maintained. The noises of nature are also very nice, went to sleep to the sound of frogs and woke up to the sound of the birds.

amazing place and really hospitable hosts! the meadow pictures can’t do it justice. it’s absolutely pristine and really accessible by car. the grounds have multiple restrooms with flushable toilets and even a shower. two very cute and adorable dogs that keep you company and protected from deer :) would most definitely stay again as beth and her husband were very friendly and welcoming.

We loved camping here and our dog was in heaven playing happily with the host dogs. Beth is super responsive and appointed the place so nicely (even the inside of the porta potty was nicely decorated). This would be a great spot for a group event or family reunion (it has a pond, stage, and glamping in super nice there’s). We are excited to come back!

I loved the tent. Pond is serene. The quit around fills the every gaps of heart. Dogs are friendly and awesome, feels like our won. Matt was great, gave us woods and made us feel comfortable.

I was looking for a last minute camp site in the area (all the state parks were booked) and found this beautiful spot! The dogs on property were friendly and had a great time showing my dogs how to live the farm life - all off leash! They also have a beautiful pond, walking trail and the tent sites were private in the back field. Hosts were really gracious and welcoming too! I’ll definitely camp here again.

They greated with smiles and kindness me as soon as I showed up. I did some tent camping and it was more than I expected, the beauty! The pups spent time with me (I needed), so did the songs of the frogs and the early morning birds. The hosts are generous and wonderful, which you can see in the way they care for the land around them. I camped at the Blue Spruce site, but there are 3 more away from the pond and more secluded.

What a lovely experience! Beth was so communicative and answered our questions. The yurt had a super cozy bed! You can stay here even if it’s chilly - the evenings were cold BUT the accessible campfire and super warm and cozy bed kept us warm! It is absolutely feasible in chillier weather, just be prepared! Her husband helped us out with some firewood as we hadn’t had a chance to buy any and he also kindly shared some homegrown apples with us on our way out! Clean bathroom, peaceful environment, and 2 lovely dogs! Will absolutely stay again when we find ourselves in the area. Thanks! :)

Great glamping

Two of us stayed here for one night. We live in Seattle and it was a perfect place to stay after spending the day in Bellingham. We arrived after sunset and our host quickly came outside to help guide us to our yurt, which was so appreciated. It was raining on and off throughout our stay, but we stayed dry and the bed was unexpectedly comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to add another large rug inside for warmth and coziness. We’ll be back again, hopefully for longer!

We loved our stay at the Huckleberry yurt - the yurt is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. You get the camping experience but also sleep in a real bed, what could be better! The owners Beth and Matt are super friendly and supplied us with extra blankets and firewood. My daughter became best friends with one of their dogs. The location is great too; it feels very private but you're close to many facilities and beautiful Chuckanut Drive. We already look forward to returning next year!
