Lovely spot with open skies! Quiet and private. Good amenities if you need them. We went for a drive around the local farms and ended up at a brewery/distillery such a beautiful countryside. Will definitely come back and bring our bikes!

Hobson Meadows is one of those places that feels special because it isn’t trying to be anything other than what it already is. We were greeted by Millie, their calm, wise pup. I loved watching her guide families to their spaces, then wander back later as if checking that everyone had settled in. Then we met Beth, Matt, and Piper. Beth quickly became one of my favorite parts of the weekend. We clicked immediately and kept finding ourselves lost in meaningful conversations. She is a beautiful soul, and you can feel the love she and Matt have for people, nature, and this land. They genuinely check in on guests while still giving everyone space to simply be. The yurts are beautifully set up with comfortable beds and mattresses. I slept through the night both nights — very unusual for me! There’s no electricity, but lanterns are provided. Days can be warm and nights cool, so pack accordingly. The grounds have two portable restrooms plus a restroom/shower combo. The stocked pond is perfect for catch-and-release fishing or simply sitting beside the water. One evening we watched birds return to a huge old tree, and Matt shared that he remembers them doing the same when he was a child. Hobson Meadows isn’t fancy or commercial. It simply feels like a family sharing a beautiful little piece of their heaven with the rest of us. So much more to share in this review, but limited in space. Check it out for yourself! We will absolutely be back. ❤️

I was all by myself with maybe 2 other families way off in the distance. Never heard a peep. Very quiet and relaxing after a long day of driving. And the best part. Beth is such an amazing human being! Came by in the morning with her 2 dogs. She's such a great host!

We absolutely loved camping here! Beth was the best host ever, she was genuinely such a beautiful person and so kind. She showed us around the property and every corner was beautiful. There are plenty of spots to camp here, not just the designated places -- theres a shower, a handful of bathrooms and a pond with fish & paddle boards. The sunsets here are incredible. This property is a great base to be if you want to see near by areas! We would 100% come back here to camp, especially for their affordable rate!

Beth was very accommodating for a very last minute reservation for a family of 5 with a dog. The yurt was spacious & spotless… cleaner than many hotels we’ve stayed at. A great intro to camping for our city kids... and their parents who haven’t camped in over a decade! Flush toilets and access to a hot shower were very nice to have. Very peaceful setting & the bullfrogs sang us to sleep. We look forward to another stay in the future.

This is my second time camping here, it is a peaceful spot and the hosts are always so friendly and welcoming. I like that other campers bring their dogs and they can play with my dogs on the property off leash. I stayed at the Wilderness #1 spot this time and it has a secluded feel with the tall grasses around three sides of the site. Helpful to be able to drive right to the site and have a nice porta potty nearby. It’s a great spot to stop on the way to Anacortes and Deception Pass!

We loved camping on Beth's land. The site was clean and had easy access. We were able to relax and enjoy a quite stay. The only complaint I would have is the port potty that was closest to our site wasn't up to par. It wasn't the worst we've ever used, but wished it was like the ones up front. The ones up front were great!

Great space with open field and areas of shade in birch trees. Easy in and out, close to all the outdoor activities in the PNW, and a short drive for any services. Hosts are welcoming, and keep the land in great shape. Great hardwall bathroom set up with flush toilet and shower they keep clean. My new go to for moutain biking base camp near Seattle.

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back! Beth and Matt were wonderful hosts. One evening, Matt showed us the fish feeding, which was a highlight for our 3-year-old. The facilities were excellent - the toilets were spotless, the shower was warm, and we loved being able to use the paddle boards on the pond. Our campsite was spacious with plenty of room between neighbouring sites, so it felt peaceful and private. The bell tents also looked beautiful. The location was perfect for exploring. We enjoyed visiting Edison, spent a day on Camano Island, and enjoyed a lake day at Mount Baker National Forest. We also highly recommend the BBQ spot in Sedro-Woolley. Overall, a relaxing, family-friendly campground with thoughtful hosts and a great base for exploring the area. We’d happily stay here again.

This place is a gem. I so appreciated Beth’s warm welcome and clean facilities. I had a cozy spot in the back that was perfect for enjoying some time in nature and being able to cook. I love the care that Beth has put into the guest experience. It’s also easy to find and a central location, I will be back!

This place is wonderful and Beth is so friendly and inviting. They have several camp spots to choose from, all are good size and easy to access. This location is a perfect jumping off point for taking the ferry to the islands or visiting the surrounding areas such as the Skagit Valley. The bathrooms are clean. The pond is nice and there is room to play sports or ride bikes or just sit by the fire… if you get the chance to, GO here!

The BlackBerry Yurt stay was fantastic! My partner, pup, and I so appreciated the little thoughtful touches Beth had through the site. She was accommodating with our late arrival and wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here 😊

Beautiful property with super nice hosts. Highly recommend! Site one was private and quiet, our dogs had a blast running around. Nice firepit at the site and the hosts offered firewood. Very relaxing place to stay!

I can’t wait to come back here again! The host was very welcoming and made sure I and all of the other campers had everything we needed. The bathrooms were spotless and I loved having a shower with hot water. The host’s dogs were so sweet and got along well with my dog! The tent sites are pretty close to each other, but there are plenty of trees around to make it feel private, and the host offered to let us move to any open spots if we wanted more privacy.

Great experience for me and a first-time camper. Beth was an active and welcoming host, the tent campsites were nicely placed in shade, and the toilets were clearly well cared for. The running water with sewage made cleaning our cookware a breeze. My only gripe was that the campsite was listed as having a picnic table and it didn't.

Fantastic spot to camp and explore Bellingham and the surroundings. Beth was a terrific host who went the extra mile to provide me an assortment of sea salt! for cooking when i told her i forgot mine. Very sweet place. Site 1 was super private. Sites 6 & 7 looked great too. Will definitely be back!
