Serene Camping on Lopez Island at Lopez Farm Cottages &amp; Tent Camping

This was a super sweet camping spot, close to town, close to ferries, and easy access to all the roads and trails you might want to hike or explore. I stayed in my vw weekender van, in site 13, any larger vehicle might find it tight to navigate that site because the site is wooded and my van barely made it through. The outdoor kitchen, very clean shower and flush toilet are shared with 2 other sites, empty while I was there. A small green frog hopped out of the shower drain, I’m glad I brought eco-friendly soap! I would 100% stay here again, it made a nice addition to our nights at Spencer spit and Odlin, as those don’t have showers!

Fall is in the air

Oh yes, this place is the peaceful beautiful place. The chickens and animals are extremely friendly as well as the people running the place.. the campgrounds that we stayed on were extremely clean as well as the grounds with beautiful views. The only thing I have to say it is a little close to the ferry, which can be good and bad.. extremely quiet in the middle of the night but once the ferry starts, it can start a little car noise. But it was just at the tent site. We enjoyed the views with the sheep and walked through their beautiful garden.. thank you again.

We loved our stay! We will definitely be back with family and friends. We especially loved the community fire place, hot showers, camp cat cuddles, sheep, garden, and beautiful layout of the farm. A truly relaxing location. Plus, quick access from the ferry and into town.

Easy and quiet!

We stayed in campsite 13. It was close to the road, but not much traffic noise, and very private. I wouldn't recommend a large vehicle since the road is narrow, but we were fine in a van. The communal kitchen/restroom/shower was great, clean and convenient! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend any of sites 11, 12, or 13 if you like privacy.

The campsites are absolutely beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to do on the island. The property is 30 acres of beautiful very well maintained land with incredible flower and vegetable gardens. Very highly recommended!!

Check in with Maudie was fantastic. Tent was great and clean. Shared facilities and grounds were wonderful. Proximity from the ferry and town were also ideal. You could definitely use this as a bike landing spot for camping or cottages. Really a great experience. We’ll be back.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Lopez Farm Camping. The van sites were spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom, shower, and common area. We enjoyed having fires in the evening the beautiful views of nearby farmland. We enjoyed visiting the chickens, and being visited by the extremely friendly cat. The hosts were also very friendly and nice to chat with. There was a billing snafu that was quickly resolved with no stress. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved staying here. We booked Drive in site #13 and it was private and super cozy! Bathroom and hot shower was + + + The host was really accommodating and has an incredibly beautiful garden we were able to utilize at mealtimes. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Not sure why saying I would recommend this site is a low rating? It was a well setup site for a camper on the back of our truck - very level and didn't need to do any adjustments to be level. The access is a little tight in that the width of the road and the firewood "shack" make for a bit of maneuvering to be able to back in. Shower and bathroom were great and clean. We'd stay again. We didn't meet the host as mentioned in the check-in instructions

I loved being tucked away at site #7. It’s a little further down the path, farther from the bathrooms, which is a plus for me. Enough privacy without feeling isolated either. This site doesn’t get much sunshine which was another plus, as the days were extra warm. Kicking back in the cool shade in camp all day while other folks were out huffing and puffing on their bikes, I felt quite lucky! The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, and hot water on demand? That’s all I needed to be a happy camper.

What a Gem!

We had such a great time! This campsite is on a beautiful slice of land and only a mile from the village. The hosts are exceptional! The shower and flush toilet are such a bonus- you can enjoy an extended stay in comfort. We know we will be back again and again.

Lopez Farm Cottages was so perfect! My adult daughter and I reserved a dispersed campsite (#10), tucked in the woods and yet close to the large communal shelter's outdoor basic kitchen and shower facilities (very clean). Awesome views of the host's sheep, grazing, and their garden/greenhouse along with a stone fireplace within the shelter made for relaxing mornings and evenings. Icing on the cake was the warm welcome from farm kitties, Nori and Kombu. The couple hosting were friendly and available... thank you both for your delightful hospitality! Highly recommend this wonderful, rural stay and hope to return. Chris and Kim (NM & WA)

Wow the new owners Jordy and Meriko were fantastic hosts (last 3 years) 💯 This is by far the best Hip Camp I’ve ever experienced ✅ Hot showers (2) flush toilets (4) covered common area with fire place and well seasoned wood. On demand hot water for drinks. A large sink. BBQ grills. Bocce ball court. Each camp site had two chairs a picnic table and hammock. The place is perfectly located in the heart of the island and you will feel like you’re in the best of hands with these two great people at the helm. Can’t say enough about how much I appreciated this space and the attention to detail that has been given. Thanks for sharing, Matt & Sigrid ❤️

A pleasant surprise, actually. The location is great, the amenities are just right for the independent traveller and the communal spaces are just enough… not too much. (Showers?! Hot water?! Dish sink?!) Plus, Bocce Ball! The owners were present and welcoming, but left us be. Put it this way, it earned its own Waypoint on Gaia, so there you have it in a clamshell.

Wonderful Island Relaxation

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the property, the grounds were beautiful and the island was so fun to explore. We also saw orcas at shark reef sanctuary! The property owner gave great recommendations and was very welcoming. If you're feeling sandwiches during the weekend make sure to get a bahn mi from Ursa Minor by 1220 cause they will sell out. Jsyk the fire is communal but the other guests were a delight. Also the bocci court is bangin
