I can't say enough good things about this camp site. We have a larger RV and we had plenty of space. It was beautiful, quiet, and very well maintained. The port a potty was the cleanest, nicest one I have ever seen. The fire pits and picnic tables were great! We did see elk almost every night in the field across the road. Will definitely stay again :)

We loved staying at Clearwater! RV2 is a part of a sort of culdesac with about 4-5 total sites. The area was beautiful and well maintained. Close to the main road but it wasnât very busy and we hardly noticed any traffic noise. Eric and Talley were friendly and welcoming. Thereâs a port-a-potty available and a whole shelter full of free firewood. The hosts set out coffee, tea, and donuts each morning for campers! Would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Camp Clearwater. You can really see the intention and care Eric and Talley have put into their place. It is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere is so calm and comforting. This was far and away our favorite campsite during our tour of the Olympic Peninsula. I cannot recommend it enough.

We stumbled upon this HipCamp site after missing the lotteries for the campgrounds we originally had our hearts set on in the area, and honestly? It turned out to be a happy accident we'll never forget.
As first-time HipCamp users, we weren't sure what to expect â we half-joked we'd be parked in someone's backyard! But we were completely blown away. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots we've ever stayed at.
The setting is intimate and cozy, with very little road noise or traffic. The hosts went above and beyond â free firewood, plus coffee, donuts, and hot water waiting for us in the morning. They even accommodated a one-night stay when their usual minimum is two nights, which was so generous and flexible of them.
The hosts are warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. And fair warning: the photos don't do this place justice. You just have to experience it for yourself. We can't wait to come back!

Eric and Talley are some of the best hosts weâve met on Hipcamp. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay.
When I accidentally booked a tent site instead of an electric site for my Tesla, they went above and beyond by moving us to an available RV site. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare and very much appreciated.
The campground was peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, plenty of firewood, and a relaxing camping experience. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and they even kept us informed about other campers and activity around the property.
You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in hosting. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the future.
Highly recommend Camp Clearwater to anyone looking for a peaceful camping getaway with exceptional hosts.

This site couldn't have been more perfect for my husband and I's one night stayover. When we originally planned to make a reservation at the Kalaloch camp location near the Tree of Life, it was fully booked. This resulted in us finding alternative camp areas, which led to Eric and Talley's location. I can't emphasize enough how grateful we were for that to happen. Their property feels like a peaceful retreat. Quiet, serene, and so beautiful. We parked our RV at site R1, which looked across the road to a large field where the sun set behind the mountains. There is a marsh on the property which provided frog songs to lull us to sleep. There was also complimentary firewood, which we happily indulged in as we enjoyed a fire under the stars and a full moon. We were lucky enough to have the entire camp to ourselves, which made it feel even more secluded than any campground could ever amount to. This place is special. If we are ever traveling this way again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Eric and Talley for giving tired folks a place to truly unwind!

I rather enjoyed my stay at Camp Clearwater. It was a very quite evening. The tent camping area is great, they are level, easy to set tent up on and decent for sleeping even with the small foam matt I brought. The fire rings a big and can have a nice fire to keep the chill off. The morning was the highlight of my camping experience. I woke up to nature: birds chirping, elk grazing in the nearby feild, and absolutely no worries. Such a great experience thank you Eric N Tally

We loved staying at Camp Clearwater! Eric and Talley were so kind and friendly. They even brought us extra supplies, gave us suggestions on places nearby to explore, and opened their campfire to us. This location was so close to swimming holes in the creek, and a quick drive from several coastal beaches. We will definitely be back.

The site is peaceful, relaxing, and very close to Kalaloch Beach. Free firewood for campers was such an amazing bonus. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

The scenery around the camp was absolutely breathtaking. So much wildlife .I saw so many elk playing . I never slept so good as I slept at this place. Itâs the quiet and peacefulness was very rewarding. Eric and Talley moved me to campsite 1 as i originally was in campsite two Very spacious as no one was using it as I also had a big RV, which fit very well in there . they offer free firewood and was actually there the night that I stayed and offered me a cup of coffee in the morning. Very close to river fishing and Forks. Plenty back roads to hike on and walk on. I loved it. I will definitely be back with my grandkids this next time. A suggestion would be maybe a sandbox for the little children and maybe a tetherball for us adults that like to play. highly recommend this to everyone..

Stayed here and loved how well maintained and clean the campground was. Incredible wildlife spotting! We saw deer, elk, and hawks right from the campsite. Unbeatable location close to popular beach destinations like Kalaloch and Ruby Beach. Huge shout-out to the host, Eric & Talley who provided free firewood, which made our stay extra special. We look forward to coming back again.
