I had been searching for over 2 years for a property where I could make a difference in the environment and live in the wilderness. I was looking for water on a large tract of land that was remote. In 2017 I found the perfect property and to my dismay it had sold 2 days before I saw the listing. I was shocked because this was the perfect property. In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property. It had a private lake with fish. A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower. The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast. It was beautifully treed with just the right amount of open meadow and forest with Hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and Larch. How could this property be sold? I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year. After a year and a half had passed and my search continued I came across an advertisement for this magical property, it was up for sale again. I called the real estate agent immediately and found that an offer had been made but the buyers could not commit for 5 more months. I made an offer that day not really knowing how I was going to pull off the money. I knew this property was meant for me. I wrote the owner a letter explaining that I was a land steward and that this land would never be developed. I would be putting it in a land trust where no developers could put up condos. The owner happened to be a environmentally focused human and he ended up selling to me. Come to find out when I had first saw the property sold a year and a half before, that transaction had fallen through. The owner had just taken it off the market for the winter. You will absolutely love the magic of Nirvana Gardens. The quiet, the wild animals, the crystal clear lake, clean air, and relaxing healing atmosphere of the ultimate nature bath.

This property is a great camp for enjoying everything that Eastern Washington outdoors has to offer. The Columbia river is in the valley below which provides fishing and watersports. The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan.  This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Bring a field guide you will be happy you did.

We do not take late comers as we are a farm and are early to bed and early to rise. I'm sorry! We are the third generation in this location and the great grandparents had the adjoining property. My father was born and died in this house, and I was raised here also. After teaching for 32 years my husband and I inherited the farm from my folks who have since passed. There are no orchards left on the property but we are moving on with a vegetable and flower garden, goats, chickens and a llama. Dispersed camping in "The Field" can be booked through HipCamp, all other sites within the campground must be booked through our direct website. Please note the following about The Field: The Field is exactly that - a large, open, grassy field. There are no shade trees so it is recommended that you bring your own shade, if you desire any. The Field does not have any lighting - it is recommended that you do not arrive after dark. The Silverline Resort is a no generator park, however we do allow generators to be used in The Field, but they must be turned off during quiet hours (10pm - 8am). All external noise devices must also be turned off during these hours. Fires are allowed until Washington State or Okanogan County issue their annual summer burn ban. It is a different date each season, feel free to email the day before your stay to check if one has been issued for your dates. Please book 1 site per tent or trailer. If you have more than one tent or trailer please book additional sites. These sites are dispersed and are first come first served. Assigned tent/RV sites within our campground must be booked through our direct website - they can not be booked through HipCamp. Weekend Trip to Secluded Hillside Camp

Stayed up at the Kulshan spot! A beautiful stay, with views for days & not a human in site. PEACEFUL & just a few minutes drive to the river! Highly recommend, steep hill to climb to get to spot but only a 2 minute walk up. Be prepared to pack light or bring your own wheels! Portapotty was super clean !

We had a nice spot up on a hill with a view of the lake. The tent spots were big and spread out so nice and private. A nice family atmosphere, no loud people or partying. A very nice base to explore winthrop and Mazama from. If you are adventurous drive up to Hart’s Pass, but watch for bears! We had one crash our picnic.

Moose, deer, butterflies, and so many birds! Rugged views that go on and on - sometimes above the clouds. Comfortable beds, a full kitchen, an outhouse connected to nature and an adventurous bathing set up. Joy’s cabin brought days of peace and a needed reset to my family. Just rustic enough to truly feel like “real” camping - still civilized enough that those who need security and comfort will enjoy. I hope to bring my family back. June is an epic time to go with all the greenery and flowers on the mountain.

Loved the views of the rolling hills and having the large tent all set up in a secluded spot. It was quite windy while we were there, and the tent was totally secure and provided great shelter. It was close to hiking trails and not far from town, so it was easy to get everywhere. We also saw epic rainbows at the campsite!

Beautiful property, beautiful home. The bed is comfortable, the flush toilet was a relief but it's nice to know you have a backup in the compost potty if you can't make it to the outhouse. Shower worked well, towels were provided! Pots and pans, cooking utensils were provided. Hammock by the river was a great spot to unwind after long hikes. We really loved this place.

This spot is truly paradise! We felt so held by the land and the lake during our time here. Matthew is a joy of a human being and clearly cares so much about this special part of the world. Logistically, on summer days, you have no worries about solar power. We never even got close to being worried about energy during the time that we were there. The beds are so comfy, there is every amenity you could ever expect to have while camping/clamping, and swimming in the lake every day feels like some sort of baptism. My kid wants to make this or go to vacation spot year-round!

1 night at Chewack River Guest Ranch

This was one of our favorite spots to date. The host swiftly met us and brought us to our site. We found ourselves in a large clearing in the canyon, under large trees with 2 picnic tables, a fire pit and a trail right down to the water's edge. The bank had a sandy beach where we immediately kicked off our sandals and buried our toes in the sand. We found our dogs would skip off to the water throughout our stay - it was their favorite place to dip and drink. We set up camp chairs on the beach and relaxed by the water for most of our stay - it was just perfect. The pit toilet is conveniently located a short walk from the site, and having the picnic tables right there made this a convenient spot to settle and relax. We would have loved to stay longer. We highly recommend this gorgous spot!

About

Located in north-central Washington, Pearrygin Lake is a haven for all the water sports you love. Launch your boat or jet ski from the boat ramp to zoom around the lake. If you want to relax and fish, there's a 60-foot dock.

In the winter months, don your cross-country skis or snowshoes to explore the Rex Derr trail. Summer months bring campfire programs led by the park rangers. Featuring three horseshoe pits, the park offers many ways to play.

Pitch your tent at one of the 92 standard campsites around this state park. For RV lovers, there are 27 spots with partial hook-ups and 50 full hook-up sites. Don't love camping? Stay in one of the two cabins or the vacation home. The cabins offer kitchen facilities.

Sleeping under the stars is amazing at the park's two primitive campsites. No matter which campsite you choose, you can use the six restrooms and 22 showers! At the West Campground Office and East Camp host site, you can buy ice and firewood.

Our favorite place to finish out the camping season in October. Pretty spot with nicely spaced sites and hookups which are handy when it's getting cold. It's only minutes out of Winthrop and not far from Mazama, the Methow Valley and all sorts of good hiking, biking and exploring.
