SPOKANE CAMPING In The Forest
3 sites · Lodging, Tents10 acres · Spokane, WAThe property we named GAEA (the old Greek spelling of Mother Earth) was first seen in a vision. Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.

Shady Pines
7 sites · RVs, Tents12 acres · Davenport, WAEnjoy our quiet getaway in the trees, just around the corner from Lake Roosevelt and Fort Spokane. The site is quiet and rustic, and largely undeveloped. The few sites are generally isolated from each other, for a private experience. Use one of our frequently-used tent sites or group sites, or try some at-large camping. Expect nature all around you. Clear night skies are normal, and an amazing sight. There is a fire ban every summer. During a fire ban, you may not burn with an open flame. Charcoal BBQs and propane stoves are generally OK. Contact the Lincoln County Sheriff for the Dear Meadows area for more details at 509-725-3501. Please be careful with fire at all times. Some mapping apps don't show it accurately. The entrance is on Miles Creston Rd, roughly a half mile N of the turn-off for Hawk Creek CG. There's a twisty log marking the driveway, which should have the address number on it. The property is marked with black/orange No Trespassing signs - these are to keep others away. Please do respect the red/white signs around the perimeter of the property since these mark the actual property boundary.

Phoenix Rising Ranch
3 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents20 acres · IDThis is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is off-grid with an option to plugin if needed. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

Casler Farm West
4 sites · RVs, Tents17 acres · Clark Fork, IDNOTE: DUE TO RECENT FLOODING, SOME CAMPSITES HAVE BEEN DESTROYED AND CURRENTLY THE OUTDOOR SHOWER IS OUT OF COMMISION Our land is devoted to utilizing and learning about Permaculture and tinkering with new sustainable building and energy production practices. Currently on the drawing board a suspended tree house, tiny house design and construction workshops and a low head electrical generating system. There are a variety of camping sites, more than 1/2 of them obtainable by trail only. There is a year round creek and several springs on the property. Adjoining the property there are thousands of acres of Forest Service land and just up the road is the proposed Scotchman Peaks Wilderness Area. Beautiful Lake Pend Orielle is only eight miles away and the Clark Fork River Delta and can be accessed just down the highway. road in Clark Fork. Bring your kayak, canoe, or longboard for unsurpassed natural beauty. If an alpine Lake is your cup of tea, Antelope Lake is a short (fairly easy) 90 minute hike away, I'm told the fishing is great! There is a meadow with room for just about any RV, however, there are no generators allowed, no hookups and a stay of more than three days will require special approval. We welcome anybody traveling through our beautiful corner of Idaho, however, we are not an RV park. Permaculture is our passion.
