Nestled on the lower portion of a private 20-acre property, this secluded campsite offers the perfect escape into nature. The site features a picnic table, solar-powered pathway lighting, and a convenient toilet and sink setup. A spacious 30x30 ft parking area accommodates your vehicle, while the 14x14 ft tent pad provides a comfortable spot to set up camp. This is fire country—NO wood fires are allowed under any circumstances. Propane fire pits are welcome, so feel free to bring one for those cozy campfire vibes. Please respect the land: pack it in, pack it out. In the iconic words of the U.S. Forest Service: "Sack, sack, sack your trash—put it in the bag, take it home. Recycle it. Keep your forest clean." Our property is home to a variety of North Idaho wildlife, including elk, deer, moose, bear, coyote, grouse, pheasants, quail, and more. This is true wilderness, and sightings are possible during your stay. Please do not approach or feed any wildlife. Observe from a distance and respect their space—for your safety and theirs. We want you (and nature) to stay safe and enjoy the experience. Because property lines may not be clearly marked, we kindly ask that you stay close to the designated campsite area to avoid accidentally crossing onto neighboring land. You're welcome to walk along the road, but please do not enter through any gates or access private property. It is a beautiful view morning and night, so peaceful and relaxing just to listen to the wind birds I would recommend this place to get high up in the mountain and be able to enjoy quiet mornings and nights my dogs and I Car tent and it worked out beautifully.

The camp site is absolutely stunning! My wife and I really enjoyed the sunsets from the campsite. Overall the site is relatively easy to navigate to. The flushable toilet is always a plus when camping! We would gladly stay here again!

Erin was awesome and the site has a beautiful view. It's a long gravel road up. A way to get water from the spigot would be lovely. It's hard to capture it from the little sink in the out house of sorts and haul it. Quiet up there.

As described - quiet, beautiful views, nice flush toilet. Erin’s map and directions were helpful because a couple turns it was difficult to decide which way was the main road and was a private driveway. We were towing a small tent trailer with off-road tires. As suggested, we drove past the campsite and turned around and backed into the site with no problems. The site worked well for us to visit Liberty Lake & Hiawatha bike trail! It was about a 15 minute slow drive down the gravel road. The tent site was flat, short walk up to the bathroom and parking spot.

My partner and I had a fantastic experience at Kastle Kaplan. The site is private and absolutely gorgeous. Everything is extremely clean and the bathroom was non-intrusive and a luxury we appreciated! We will be back!
