Wake up to picturesque views of the beautiful Spokane river and Rathdrum mountains, while staying only 15 minutes from both downtown Coeur D Alene and Post Falls. Our secondary lot offers a scenic plot, removed from town but within easy driving distance of local activities and restaurants. You will park next to our shop, which offers privacy from the road, but please take note of its placement in our photos to ensure that will work for your stay. The main property and home are next door, and we are easily reachable if you need anything during your visit. We offer year round electrical hook-ups, and fresh water in Spring, Summer and Fall (the pipes are winterized from approximately the end of October-March, depending on the snow season). While there is only 1 electrical hook-up, there is space for an additional vehicle, and options for parking locations if electrical is not required. During your stay, keep an eye out for our neighborhood moose family, our year-round bald eagles, and our many deer, quail, and turkey friends. Winter camping is available, but please note that we can receive large amounts of snow. Please reach out with any questions! We spent the night relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view of the Spokane River in CDA. The Riverview Woodland Retreat was the perfect place for an overnight stay as we were passed through. We found it easy to find and close to CDA. We would love to stay again if we find ourselves in the area. Wylie was a great host and told us about the area which we enjoyed.

We ended up booking an extended stay. Wylie's little oasis is the perfect spot for exploring Coeur d'Alene, Kellogg for the gondola ride, Wallace for the silver mine tour, and don't forget the Bordeaux museum!

45 foot motorcoach -- roads easy to navigate, entrance accessible, getting situated simple with plenty of room to maneuver. Drop your toad at the top of the street. We stated a week and extended --that good! Most RV parks in the area cost $100 per night, squeezed into a cramped site, backed up against neighbors, listening to traffic from a busy street. Wylie’s property offers the complete opposite experience. You have the entire property to yourself, with an incredible view overlooking the Spokane River and plenty of room to relax, breathe, and enjoy your surroundings. Peace & Quiet all the time. Wylie is a wonderful host. Friendly, welcoming, and available when you need him, yet he gives you the space to settle in and fully enjoy the experience. Thank you Wylie for your wonderful land and hospitality. Seriously, this slice of heaven is a no brainer! Unless you like cramped RV parks. We will be back

The peaceful campsite is nestled between the owners home, shop, and cliffs, on a dead end road offering beautiful water views and privacy! They were friendly to us and dogs. Power, water, and septic were great to have, too. Narrow to fit a large RV trailer into, but abundant space with lawn and picnic table once you fit in.

Backed into a great full service RV spot with a wonderful view of the river. The owner is a wonderful person that keeps everything very easy going and trouble free. I was lucky to have meet him and spent a short time conversing. I would recommend this spot!

To share what stands out for our overnight stay at Riverview was Wylie! Greatest guy and very helpful in backing our trailer. The spot was peaceful and we loved being able to look out our door at the view. Hookups were easy to access.

This was perhaps my favorite HipCamp site. Amenities included full hookups (water, electric, sewer) and trash receptacle. But the real treat was the view of the Spokane River. The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. The site is rather high up on a bluff or terrace overlooking the River. Sweet. Ed, who fills in for Wylie and lives next door, was super friendly and helpful.

Wylie was an amazing host! The property was easy to find, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Communication was quick and helpful, and Wylie made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The campsite itself was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Would definitely stay here again — highly recommend Wylie’s place to anyone looking for a great Hipcamp experience!

This was the perfect stop over for the night. Wylie was out to greet me and guide me in when I arrived. We had a nice conversation while his dog and mine go to know each other for a few minutes. Even though the site is near his house, it still felt very separate and private enough. The view was gorgeous and the location was perfect for getting back on the road.

It's a god location to camp for a few days to explore the area, but the site is tucked in behind a barn with a home on one side. Despite the nice river view it isn't really a natural setting. There is distant highway noise.

Great spot with and incredible view! We just stayed one night as we were passing through, but it was in a lovely neighborhood and directions were great. Excellent communication from Wylie and we met her Dad who was staying on the property nearby. He gave us great breakfast recommendations. Electric hookup was super convenient and they had a trash can near by. Thank you Wylie! Definitely recommend if you’re looking to stay in the area!
