Amazing location- if you are REALLY good at pulling a camper! We had the single spot up above the road, which had a beautiful view of the old mill and the creek. It has a little lawn area and a fire pit. The owners were super nice and came out to greet us as soon as we arrived. The skill it took for my husband to get our 26’ trailer into the spot was incredible. He pretty much had to jackknife the trailer and do a ten point turn to get it parked. Once it was in, we realized that there was, in fact, NO sewer hookup. There was water and electricity, but luckily our family of four only stayed for two nights so we made it without dumping. Upon leaving the site, we discovered that it was even harder to get the trailer out of the site. If you have a smaller trailer or small RV you’ll be fine! On the plus side- you can hear the water from the creek and you’re surrounded by trees and flowers. It’s about a ten minute drive to adorable downtown Wallace. The fam and I had fun on a tour of the Silver Mine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. We had a nice out of the way spot up on a hill that took some work to get the trailer to but was worth it. Beautiful spot. The only issue we had was no ability to dump tanks, but we had water and electric though. Was a nice easy drive to Wallace from Burk.

The campsites were lovely! Clean, level, and well manicured. We were able to leave and explore for the day and come back to the lovely setting. Lisa was wonderful and welcoming- will come back!

Burke Creekside RV Camping
We had a wonderful stay at Burke Creekside RV! Lisa was a great host—friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. She gave us the perfect spot for our large group, with power and water hookups and plenty of room for those in our group who were tenting. She checked in with us regularly and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area. The nearby town of Wallace is absolutely charming! We especially enjoyed the Silver Mine tour and the local ice cream shop. Highly recommend!

Lisa was exceptionally accommodating with the space that was available. They went out of their way to make sure that our family's needs were met and the camping trip went off well with two small kids! In addition, she went out of her way to locate and mail a precious stuffed animal that was left at the campsite. Thank you so much Lisa!

Clean, well appointed.
Some bumpy communication on checking in, but that was mainly due to not realizing there would be no cell service. Lisa was very sweet and thoughtful.

Lisa’s place along the river north of Wallace ID is charming and we really enjoyed staying there. Lots of mining history nearby if you like that. Would stay there again when in the area.

We stayed 2 nights at Lisa’s place. It is a wonderful atmosphere. She thought of everything, even has extra extension cords for electric and water hookups.
We visited Wallace, which is a very cute town with lots of history. I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hip camp. As others have noted, traffic is minimal and we slept great at night. Between the sounds of the creek and spacious sites, zero concerns with noise. Lisa was personable, responsive, and helpful. We appreciated her advice on where to side by side and the local sites. Overall, a unique and whimsical hip camp. We plan on returning. Thanks, Lisa!

Loved my stay with Lisa and Phil! They are super accommodating folks and go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. Phil even stood by the roadside to wave me in as I got a bit turned around with location late at night. Their place is clean and properly lit at night. The first night I slept in a ground tent in site 1 and it was leveled nicely with great grass for a cozy sleep. The next 2 nights were in a rooftop tent in site 2. Great place all around. Enjoyed my stay for sure.

Lovely place and wonderful host. Rode the Hiawatha Trail. It was so fun. The spot was very roomy and we were camping with our friends and had great space with electric and water. Loved it and recommend it‼️

The seclusion from public lighting made this amazing to see the blanket of stars that covered us. This was exactly what we needed for some nights away from the hustle and bustle. Electrical available, water handy, bring a hose or fill your RV before you set up. It wasn't an issue though for us. The property feline Mr. Kitty made our visit away from our animals feel more like home. Am planning to talk to others about some group camping to get away. There is a lot of room there, multiple spaces for campers and tents. Highly recommend and I am sure we will be back and be sending people that way. Thank you for opening your property.

I love that they created an oasis for campers to connect. We met Lisa and she is a very nice and open person. You can tell they put a lot of thought and love into the space. Walking in the morning to Burke was a fun adventure. We also went to Wallace and had a very nice dinner and enjoyed walking through the historical town! The outhouse was kept up with toilet paper and was in a spot that was private. There was water close by which made the stay easy for tenting. We will go back!

Nice site that was secluded but not completely isolated from people. Flat, grassy area with plenty of room for parking and tents. Picnic tables were a huge bonus as was the sound of the nearby creek... and wifi. Cool ghost town just down the road.

This is my new favorite Hipcamp! I loved being in an area that has so much history. Hard to believe that there was a big mining town of over 300 buildings and two railroads at one time. Very quiet now and enjoyed the creek noise across the street.
Lisa's sight is very clean with a lot of family oriented games and activities available. Wallace, a historic town, is close by with mamy things to see and do. Definately will make it back to spend more time here!

Good location, not far from other towns you can visit. Plenty of room for campers. Lisa has the area set up pretty nicely. Lisa is very good with communication and she is so helpful. Minor issue is if you are far away from the cabin the WIFI will not work. Other than that this place is great! Will definitely come back.

It was my first experience with HipCamp, so it was a little weird at first, but Lisa immediately made us feel comfortable. Firewood and lighter fluid provided along with tons of games! Quiet area and a nice creek across the street.

We had a good time staying on Lisa’s land and learned a lot about the area while there. Our immediate impression was not quite what we’d anticipated as the camping slots are just off the road and are all covered with parking rock. But once we got our popup camper setup, our rugs down, and 10x10 up, we were settled and very comfortable. Water and power were both at our site (#3), and a porta potty was a short walk away. Lisa was very helpful and attentive while also leaving us alone to do our own thing. We always felt safe and we all had a good time. We enjoyed the extra touches Lisa provided to make the experience special such as landscape lighting throughout her property, fire rings with free firewood, and even some glow sticks for the kids. There was some grass along the back of the parking slots, and a couple trees for shade. The small and historic town of Wallace is just 15 minutes away and gave us a day to have fun away from camp.
